Rebirth: Over the Horizon

Chapter 137 - Double Kill

The higher the level gap between the player and the monster, the more experience points they will gain.

So, Adam wanted to kill these two fighting monsters.

He was holding Abyss Angel firmly in his hand, but sweat was quietly pouring down from his forehead.

Soon, Adam saw the trail of the ghost wolf. It came quietly behind the thunder leopard and launched an attack.

Based on previous experience, he knew that the first attack of this demonic wolf in the invisible state could cause three times the damage.

The initial attack power of the demonic wolf is already very tremendous, after being tripled it can cause terrifying damage to the thunder leopard.

The demonic ghost wolf broke the "stealth" state, and the sharp claws pierced into the body of the leopard, drawing a hideous blood mark.

Thunder lizard let out a painful cry, and blood gushed out of its newly infected wound.

Then the leopard's eyes became a little dim. Adam did not miss the opportunity to launch an attack against the thunder leopard.

"Ice golems"

His icy sub-ordinates directly appeared beside the thunder leopard and launched a heavy blow from both sides.

"Geuuk..."

The demonic thunder leopard, whose HP was already reduced to 12% after receiving the attack earlier from the demonic wolf wailed in pain.

"Geeuuu..."

Adam didn't miss noticing the change in its health bar, its HP directly hit the rock bottom and the monster fell to the ground.

At the same time, Adam's EXP bar also sky-rocketed, his exp was already over 80% towards LvL: 157.

Adam nodded his head in satisfaction, then walked out of his stealth to meet with demonic ghost wolf's angry eyes.

"It is said that the wolf's sense of smell is amazing I have been here for so long, and you haven't noticed it?"

Adam shrugged and said, regardless of whether the monster before him understood it or not.

The weapon in his hand become radiant, and he activated another skill.

"Ice tide!"

[-600 MP]

At this time, the demonic ghost wolf's 'invisible' skill has entered the phase of cooling down, and the cooling time should be about eight or nine minutes.

One after another, white silks floated in the air. These white silks are formed by liquefying water vapour in the air into water droplets. The temperature here dropped rapidly to a terrible point.

A cold current emerged, and Adam's robe fluttered in the wind it created.

"Foolish..."

With the cold wind, the ice quickly devoured the land around Adam.

Even though the skill's power was overwhelming it will not cause any damage to its caster.

However, it froze the demonic ghost wolf into an ice statue. A smile appeared on Adam's face and his weapon elegantly broke the statue of the beast.

Then his gaze fell on the side of the demonic ghost wolf body. He glanced over to see if anything dropped from the dead demon.

'There is nothing...'

After thinking for a while, Adam decided to hunt here for some more time.

As a result, he wandered deeper into the Warcraft Mountains.

It didn't take him long to come across a massive ridge, and there was a natural tunnel on the crest that connected the front and back of the Warcraft Mountains.

The tunnel before Adam was deep and narrow, and the magic here was so getting stronger.

'There may be snake-like monsters entrenched here because it is humid, cold and full of magical energy.'

Adam has once heard about these types of demonic snakes from demon arrow,

'If you ever come across these types of monsters, don't hesitate to run, they have high poison affinity...without a shaman confronting them would be deadly.'

Adam walked back along the path, and there were still some big guys in the 170s and 180s on the road.

Adam was very cautious to bypass and was not found by any demonic creatures along the way.

As a matter of fact, in this Warcraft Mountain Range, level 170 or 180 wild monsters are not considered high-level monsters.

There are even powerful monsters with levels up to 230 and 250.

Because there is a three hundred and fifty-level overlord-level monster in the core section of the Warcraft Mountain.

The hierarchy itself is considered one of the toughest places on earth.

However, this has nothing to do with the current Adam. In any case, even a snort from these demonic monsters can kill him.

Therefore, Adam didn't dare to make fun of his life, after all, he wouldn't get reborn again.

Adam was evading the beasts higher than the 165 level while looking for the beasts similar to his power.

It took him about half an hour to finally find a level 162 demonic thunder lizard.

It was quite similar in a way to the thunder leopard he confronted earlier, but both of their bodies were drastically in contrast.

The demonic thunder lizard in front of him moved slowly with its heavy body. L

Adam immediately hid behind a tree, using its sturdy trunk to hide his tracks.

'Even though I have [Dark robe] I have to train myself to be independent...'

The greater the level, the less influenced by the Warcraft Mountains' violent magic power.

The high-level animals can also fully utilise the violent aspects to modify their bodies and improve their numerous traits.

Adam didn't attack the demon and decided to trail it first. To check what the thunder lizard should be looking for.

It swung its huge body about. When it was ready to leave, it slammed its powerful tail into the earth, smashing a large chunk of land and creating a cloud of dust.

This proves who physically strong the demons living in Warcraft mountains are.

"Could it be seeking for the trace of the Thunder Leopard that I killed?" Adam wondered as he watched it walk away, his cheek resting in his hand.

"It's really conceivable!" Adam exclaimed after a half-minute of thought.

The lizard and the leopard had the same magical affinity so they can look out for each other.

Although it will be not of affection, they will try to gain something from each other.

'Let's follow this thunder lizard for now!'
