Rebirth: Over the Horizon

Snow elves. 

They resemble white-haired, pale Altmer, and have very long lifespans, as well as a strong resistance to frost. 

To the point where they were immune to cold and could live comfortably in ice caverns. 

Snow elves favor spears and archery in combat. 

For the past few days, Ariana and Azumi were sneaking around the ice elves territory and killing them secretly. 

They were trying to reduce the number of snow elves, which will ultimately result in their advantage when they face them head on. 

"All the participants attention!" 

Azumi talked while clapping her hands; she didn't need to employ [Authority] to get people to listen to her this time.

Because all of the people here were players, and they all knew what would happen if they didn't follow the vice-guild master's orders.

"Today, we are going to ride the snow elves territory." 

Yes, today was the day, they are going to ride the snow territory, as Azumi started give her instructions Adam appeared at scene but he was flying in the sky. 

"You all need to do only one thing..." 

Seeing her seriously giving out orders he didn't wished to distrub her and silently watched the event. 

"Kill any ice elves you spot." 

"..." 

"That's all!" 

Adam sighed and landed on the ground, 'I should have expected no else from her.' 

Even though her speech didn't motivated them much. Thankfully there was another player who raised their morale's constantly. 

It was Amelia the 'Unique Player' as he have already made arrangements to make her join his guild, it worked out in the end. 

But, there is still problem because in his past life, Amelia disappeared without trace from [Horizon] before 20 days it descended. 

In three days, it will be day Amelia disappears. 

'This time I have to prevent it.' 

As the resolution was taken the war against the elves began.

A man dressed in black robe, walked on the clean white icy floor.

He crossed the corridor with light steps, reached out and pushed open the double doors in front of him. 

The vision appeared before him was magnificent it was a large hall at the end of the beautiful throne room there was imposing golden chair. 

In the mighty throne, there was a woman in a black robe sitting. 

Although she was wearing a black robe, the gorgeousness of his clothes was not comparable to that of the any normal one. 

'It must been of legendary grade.' 

Her robe was gilded all over, and they were covered with mysterious and complicated golden patterns. 

She rubbed the armrest of the throne with one hand and held a glass in the other.

There was a red liquid filling the glass about its mid point. 

Her eyes were a little blurred, his eyes seemed to be completely attracted by the scarlet liquid in her hand. 

She shook the glass in his hand, seemingly uninterested in the arrival of Adam and others.

Because, it was unknown to him what kind of boss would the Ice elf queen be, he was initially hesitant about facing her alone. 

But, Amelia was willing to fight the boss alongside with him today, so Adam was little more confident than before. 

At that time, Amelia took something like a stone from her inventory and crused the stone which was marked with various glyphs. 

A mighty griffin formed before them, on top of the griffin a man with bows and arrows was sitting. 

The griffon rider that was summoned could not fly to the high altitude, so he hovered in the low air a little depressed.

"ATTACK HER!" 

Amelia spoke while pointing her fingers towards the queen who was still in her dazed state. 

So under Amelia's manipulation, the Griffin Rider immediately launched an attack on the woman sitting on the throne. 

Less than eight yards from the boss, the 

 archer riding on the griffon shot a flame arrow.

Although the flame arrow successfully attacked the ice elf queen's body, both of them can see a snowy white shield forming on her body. 

The flame arrow did not cause any damage to this 115th-level ice elf queen.

But this attack successfully awakened the ice queen. 

His eyes were no longer blurred, but gradually regained wisdom and depth.

When she saw the griffon rider attacking him, she lowered his head slightly and fell into silence...Although she had always kept quiet and silent.

Then suddenly a mysterious smile appeared at the corner of her mouth, and she raised her head to welcome the arrival of the enemy. 

Both Adam and Amelia didn't has any feeling for the existence of this ice queen.

 After all... no matter what, her essence is nothing but a program.

But, what next happened was unexpected. 

The Griffin Rider succeeded in killing the Ice queen in more than four strikes. 

Which was unbelievable! 

Adam saw the ice queen sitting on her throne until her last breath. 

The moment she lost his vitality, her hair turned gray, and the glass in her hand also fell on the ground.

The scarlet liquid spilled on the feet of the Ice Elf Queen. There was a look of relief on her face, and then it gradually faded into transparency. 

[You have successfully killed the poisoned Ice elf queen.] 

[Due to special conditions you will not receive any EXP] 

Adam looked at the red liquid which was still soaking the white ice red. 

"Could it be...it's not red wine...but poison?" 

"We don't know...but it's not our problem, is it?" 

Amelia replied to his doubt softly and started to walk towards the throne where Ice Elf Queen was previously sitting. 

"Yeah, it not our problem because we won, after all." 

It's true. Whether the Ice queen had died by his hands or dued by some poison, his mission was achieved. 

Adam waited for Amelia to bring up the loot dropped by Ice Elf Queen.

 Amelia finally came to the throne after walking for half a minute, she picked up a scroll from the ground and beside that was a beautiful black robe. 

The robe was the one which was previously worn by the Ice elf queen. 

She handed over the scroll to Ad abd asked him, "Can I take this robe." 

"Yes, you can take it." 

Adam said while smiling a little, after all she was the one who killed the Ice Elf Queen logically. 

Also, there is no harm in letting herself to keep the robe because she is already a member of his guild.
