Chapter 2178  Ling Tian and White

Just like Sam wanted, he started finishing the labors quickly. Within that week, before the fifth revived pocket dimension was finished, he is already at the eighth labor.

This news surprised everyone as it spread. However, it wasn't much of a concern for most people. Except for the select few.

Dayus was among them.

Luckily, in the fifth pocket dimension, he managed to obtain the legacy inheritance and rewarded it to one of the team members.

And another one of his team members managed to snatch the highest prize in the revived pocket dimension.

Dayus believed in his heart that his luck was because Sam is not present in the pocket dimensions. In fact, even in the first couple of pocket dimension, he believed that the only reason the flaming skulls managed to trick Sam away into taking the rewards is because Sam is not prepared for them.

No one knew that the flaming skulls possessed information regarding the legacy inheritances and expected them to appear in such a high profile manner in the last second.

So, he was glad that Sam didn't come from the third one. After all, he didn't see Sam losing all that many times in this whole journey. But now that he saw Sam is speed running the labors, he had a bad feeling.

However, there is another person who had an even worse feeling. White.

When White arrived at the Academy realm, he made a name for himself on the first day. Everyone was curious and everyone thought he became the next best thing. However, Sam happened.

Granted that he is the one who picked the fight, it is still a huge dent on his reputation and confidence. Then came another person from flaming skulls.

Wearing that stupid mask, he came over and destroyed White. The whole fight is controlled by that person. White was completely on the passive side.

As if that is not enough, ever since the pocket dimensions there is another guy from the flaming skills. He is the only one that walked around with his face wide open to the rest of the world. His face is the only known face among the flaming skulls.

He came for the first two and didn't come forward after that.

The word is that he even managed to catch Sam off guard. From what White knew, Sam is not someone who you can just catch off guard. Even if you can manage that, that means you have at least strength equivalent strength.

This made White even more resentful.

Now, White is a bit aimless.

Sam is not appearing in pocket dimensions. He just went on to deal with the labors.

The whole city is in chaos. The city guards are unable to control anything. More and more murders are happening. In other regions, academies are already at war. The three Norse academies also made big moves on Zeus Academy.

The Gambler Academy is still not backing down.

Bloody Chariot did say that he wanted to stabilize the situation with the Gambler academy, but he didn't make any moves regarding that.

White once again maintained silence.

"Its fine if you don't want to answer me. But you need to answer to your own conscience before you can accept this help from me.

All because I told you the truth. But you didn't listen to me.

But this is the first real problem that you encountered after you come here. The first real problem that you couldn't solve with your recoil style and you are asking me for help.

So, are you really trying to prove me wrong? Is this really the right way for you to gain victory?"

White just stayed silent for a long time. No answer.

Ling Tian sighed and said.

"You can leave. I will handle your coin problem. But remember White, it is not late to backdown now, but at one point, it will be too late and you wouldn't be able to get out of the situation, even if you want to.

Maybe, even I won't be able to stop you from suffering. Remember that."

White didn't say anything once again. He just turned around and left.

Ling Tian pursed his lips and took out another communication token.

Sam came to the same spot on Harbinger.

"So, why the sudden invite? Did Gambler want more entertainment or something? I understand that the current plot is boring, but it is necessary in my grand scheme."

"Yes, I know that the Hub is yours. So, I want you to release White of that contract."

Sam raised an eyebrow. This is indeed something that he didn't expect.
