248 Accepting The First Princess As Allen's First Student

After the five of them sat on their respective chairs, with Allen, Iris, John, and Deus facing in front of Alisceon, Allen used his <Supreme Creator> talent again to create a tea set while gesturing for Alisceon to drink it.

Taking a sip of his tea, displaying etiquette that was befitting of the <Supreme Prince> talent, Allen asked Alisceon.

“Why do you want to become my student?”

Getting straight to the point, Allen faced Alisceon as he then remembered something that made him want to facepalm himself.

“Oh right, I forgot that we haven’t introduced ourselves yet.”

“A pleasure to meet you. I am Allen Walker, a mage who just came out of seclusion after achieving a breakthrough in my attainments in magic. I currently don’t have any affiliations with any organizations or kingdoms yet if that is what you are worried about.”

After remembering that the two of them hadn’t introduced themselves yet, Allen introduced himself first.

“The pleasure is mine. I am Alisceon Gaia, the First Princess of Gaia Kingdom.”

Hearing Alisceon’s introduction, Allen wasn’t surprised that she was a princess and it didn’t matter to him whether she was the first princess or the second one. After all, he only needed her status as a princess so that she can vouch for their origin which would make it easier for him to start his actions with his identity being verified.

If Alisceon even wanted and if doing so would benefit him, he didn’t mind assisting her in ascending the throne. After all, doing so would allow him to have a puppet queen but then, it wouldn’t be impossible that Alisceon would propose to him to make him the king of Gaia Kingdom. He was confident in his looks so he knew that such a possibility was quite high.

Reigning in his narcissism inside his mind, Allen focused his attention back on his conversation with Alisceon. After knowing about her identity, countless schemes had already entered his mind.

“Now that I know who you are, then let me ask this question again. Alisceon, why do you want to become my student?”

Allen asked Alisceon again as her eyes gleamed with resolve. Placing her hands on her lap and clenching her skirt, she loathed her weakness, and that was why she didn’t hesitate to answer Allen’s question.

“I want to take control of my life! And I realize that without any power and backing, my life will always be at the hands of others. I felt despair when I almost died because of my weakness, but after meeting you, I felt hope. I became hopeful that with your teachings, I can become a powerful mage so that I will never encounter such a situation again. And with your backing, my royal siblings will think twice about attempting to kill me.”

“I don’t have that much to offer you, and I know that my royal siblings can offer you greater benefits. But, I plead to become your student. I want to learn the ways of magic from you and finally take control of my life! I will offer my utmost loyalty to you, and if I ever betray your trust, I will pay with my life!”

Alisceon wholeheartedly answered Allen’s question as she declared her intention of asking him to become her magic teacher.

‘She isn’t lying. If that is the case, then accepting her as my student wouldn’t be a bad decision. I prefer to have someone weak but loyal as my follower than a strong but treacherous follower.’

With that thought in his mind, Allen took a whiff and sipped on his tea as he slowly drank the contents of the teacup, enjoying the aroma and taste of the tea. Placing the teacup that was emptied of its contents, Allen focused his attention back on Alisceon.

“If you want to become my student, then I will require you to sign a soul contract with me. If you ever betray me, not only will you die, but you also won’t have the chance to reincarnate ever again. But if you sign the soul contract and become my student, I will help you to the best of my abilities.”

“Knowing that, do you still want to become my student?”

Asking that question, Alisceon, Allen snapped his finger as a scroll with a feather pen appeared in front of her, which was the soul contract.

With no hesitation, Alisceon grabbed the feather pen as she signed the soul contract after reading the contents of the soul contract. She found out that the contents of the soul contract were what Allen had said to her, so she didn’t hesitate in signing it.

With a poof sound, the soul contract disappeared as she felt that something had invaded her body, or to be specific, her soul. She understood that the soul contract had already taken effect and that if she ever betrayed him, her soul would be destroyed.

She didn’t mind that since she knew that to take control of her life, she needed to take the risk. It would be ironic if she ever wanted to take control of her life yet her life was bound by her teacher’s life contract, but it wasn’t the case as she had read the contract.

In the soul contract, it stated that she has complete freedom as long as she didn’t do anything to betray Allen. It was also stated that Allen couldn’t force her to do anything that she didn’t want to do. That was one of the main reasons why she didn’t mind signing the soul contract.

“Since you have signed the soul contract, then I hereby accept you as my first ever disciple.”

Announcing that, Allen clapped his hands as a silver necklace with a sapphire gemstone appeared on his hand. Placing the sapphire necklace on Alisceon’s neck, she blushed at his actions.

“This is my gift to you for becoming my disciple and proof that I have accepted you as my student. This sapphire necklace can protect you from all kinds of poisons and curses and can defend against the attacks of a Perfection Realm Initial Stage God.”
