Chapter 80 - Miniature World& Beast Sealing Card

There wasn't much that had changed within Umbra's possible evolution panel, except the 4th evolution path.

Shane was still unsure what to think about the Limit breaker title, but what he knew for sure was that a [Horned Darkness-Snake] sounded weaker than a Colossus Darkness-python…

At least that was what he thought and the only thing both evolution paths had in common was their "Darkness" tag which indicated their affinity.

However, this was the only thing they had in common and a small ray of hope emerged within him.

`Will Umbra stay smaller if I evolve him into a [Horned Darkness-Snake] compared to the Colossus Darkness-python?` This was extremely important to know because he couldn't let Umbra slither through the shelter if he were to continue to grow into a forty-meter-long snake.

Others didn't have such a problem with their tamed beasts. They either had the [Tamer] occupation or they had purchased a special beast sealing card or bag in order to store their beasts inside.

A tamer's specific space was within one's body and comfortable for both master and his tamed beast.

These tamed beasts that were stored within their master could even absorb a part of their master's mana if they received permission to do it. At the same time, they were also able to see through their master's eyes.

Meanwhile, a sealing card or bag was rather uncomfortable for beasts, because they were squeezed into a cramped space without many joyous things that they could do within.

Even if Umbra would become larger if he were to grow longer with the [Extraordinary] evolution path compared to the [Rare] evolution path, this wouldn't change Shane's decision to pick the former one. For him, it was important that his companion would become stronger by taking the best path.

Shane was still unsure if his thought about potential was wrong, but the theory about beasts' potential slowly established in his mind, after Umbra broke through his limit.

There had to be a racial limit that prevented beasts from reaching higher realms. It looked like the peak-5th Wild stage and a [extraordinary] quality was the highest possible a normal Shadow-snake could ever achieve.

Umbra was a special case and Shane was still unsure if it was solely because of his Innate skill's quality enhancement.

As such, he had to gather more information and figure out more about himself, his capabilities, and Umbra.

Nevertheless, the only thing Umbra was able to do for now would be absorbing nature's mana and mana crystals in order to fill the evolution bar.

There was only one main issue that Shane noticed.

Not only was there an increase in Umbra's length but also his width. He was now more than 1.5 meters long while he was also as wide as his forearm.

With this, it would be quite hard for Umbra to coil around Shane without obstructing his movements, which worsened their good mood to a large degree.

Umbra could now understand Shane's thoughts better after his quality had upgraded to [extraordinary] in addition to the intelligence boost that he had received from the [Limit breaker] title.

He knew that obstructing his master in any way would be extremely bad and there was nothing much they could do. It might even be harmful to both the master and their tamed beasts to be too far apart from each other for a long period of time.

This was solely because the bond between a master and a tamed beast would weaken over time while the loyalty might also waver.

Both of these factors were extremely bad, but Shane didn't know any way of learning some type of [Taming] related beast storage skill.

The only thing he could think of was purchasing a beast sealing card or sealing bag, but he didn't want to.

It was as if he would torture his tamed beast with that because Umbra would be completely secluded from everything and this was the last thing he would ever want to do.

Pondering over what to do, Shane just decided to share his worry with all of his uncles and aunts.

They were the strongest and most knowledgeable humans he knew and if they didn't know what to do, Shane would have to either find a different path to solve this issue, ask other races or figure out a way to take Umbra with him.

However, fighting with a 1.5+ meter and forearm wide snake coiled around him could be quite dangerous for both of them.

Thus he sent a message in the chat group he had created earlier and waited for someone to reply. While waiting for a message to pop up, Shane continued to think about a possible solution for his current problem but there wasn't much he could think of.

The best he could think of was purchasing an extremely expensive [Miniature world] that was comparable to a minuscule dimension where all kinds of living beings could live inside.

A miniature world was just a normal world, only that its size was minuscule, and space within was also definite depending on the price one paid.

However, even a cubic meter space was said to cost hundreds of gold coins.

Shane could purchase such a one cubic meter miniature world, but this wouldn't really make Umbra much happier. It wouldn't be any different than being stored inside a sealing card or bag, with a few mana stones or the remaining mana crystals next to him.

Another idea that popped into his mind was that Umbra could enter a long hibernation which had been the case with the Colossus Darkness-python back at the shadow-snake valley.

Even though Umbra didn't love this option it seemed as if it was the best thing they could do, as a notification from his family chat group appeared in front of Shane's eyes.

It was Uncle Max but Shane was not really hopeful to receive some mind-blowing advice as he read through the few options he had.

1) Purchase a normal [Mortal-(Common)] beast sealing card/bag. This way, your tamed beast can go into hibernation. Through its common quality, you can store some mana stones or mana crystals within it and your beast can accumulate mana in order to fill its evolution bar slowly.(Cheapest way)

2) Purchase a miniature world and store your beast there while doing the same steps as before until the evolution bar is completely filled. (Medium expensive)

3) Enter the apprentice rank as soon as possible and take the Tamer occupation without caring about its quality (least recommended)

4)Purchase a [Mortal-(Extraordinary)] beast sealing card with a [Soul connection] or similar effect. This effect will be bound to you and is comparable to a fake [Taming] beast storage skill, without the ability to absorb the master's mana.

(The last is the most expensive of all stated solutions, but also the most efficient.)

If you need funds, just message me, I will make sure that you receive enough!>

Shane was already aware of the first two solutions as he read through the message. However, implementing either solution 1 or 2 would feel like he was torturing Umbra which he didn't want to do.

As for the third solution, he didn't even need to consider it for a second, because Shane would never just pick any occupation.

Furthermore, he didn't want to be a tamer, per se as he would rather select a combat occupation in order to fight along with his tamed beasts.

The last solution immediately caught his attention. But, considering that everything with an extra effect and a [extraordinary] quality was extremely expensive, Shane could only hope that his current funds were enough to relieve him of his worry.
