Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 423: Last three

Chapter 423: Last three

It wouldn’t take long for Viridy to have reached his racial limit which would allow it to evolve as long as enough mana was in the surrounding area.

This was extremely beneficial and Shane couldn’t help but await this moment, even more so after he had witnessed what its abilities were!

The lesser forest spirit had a total of two affinities as of now!

While the first was an ability related to his wooden affinity,, the second ability was something he had hoped for.

The first ability allowed Shane to manifest a multitude of mana-enhanced roots that could be used as a crowd control ability, to protect himself, or even to attack but the second was what truly intrigued him.

Even though the effects were not strong for now, the second ability involved the nature ability, allowing Shane to reinvigorate certain areas in his body or his surroundings!

Because he was not sure how exactly this worked, Shane had cut his hand to test out whether the second ability was simply something that invigorated him, or if it also had healing characteristics.

To Shane’s fortune and immense relief, the latter was the case, and he noticed that the nature ability was both invigorating and healing him.

This was great and caused Shane to smile brightly as he gained an extremely versatile wooden ability along with a healing ability from Viridy!

After having rested on the verdant grass for some time, Shane lifted his upper body to look at the wide ocean.

‘From the looks of it, we will have to leave Igra soon…to think that the situation would escalate to such an extent… who could have imagined that?’

Nobody had ever dared to imagine that the system or the Primordial dimensions would vanish, but this was exactly what was going to happen.

As if that was not enough trouble, the Dark Ice elves had annihilated several of the basic races after threatening them with war.

Due to this, the human race was showing its true nature, that of the greedy, self-centered race they were.

Even though Shane was greedy and self-centered, thinking that his own life was worth much more for himself than that of strangers, this thought was practical.

In his opinion, everyone would rather let a stranger die than oneself.

However, even that had its limits in Shane’s opinion. Selling the fate of their entire race just to have a minuscule chance of surviving the attack of the Dark Ice elves that was likely to happen soon was unforgivable.

Unfortunately, there were more than enough humans who dared to do something like this, turning everyone against each other as mankind’s trust in their brethren seemed to have disappeared.

There was only the government most people tried to rely on as their desperation increased with each passing day.

Meanwhile, the Astral Starlight faction was something the government labeled as fraud, treating them equal to those who had abandoned and betrayed their entire race.

With more than 30 billion humans who were forced to return to Igra, the planet was brimming with life, but at the same time, the crime rate had shot up and there were only a few places void of terror, desperation, and fear.

Weirdly enough, the organisation that had been called fraud, was one of such places because there was simply no time to think about the possible dangers that were looming around them.

Everyone in the Astral Starlight faction was working hard, and Shane, Talia, and the rest were allowing the immediate family members of the hard-working faction members to enter the Neptua Ladra region and the Hidden Paradise if they wanted to.

Shane had allowed everyone to enter the Hidden Paradise as long as Talia and his family gave their permission.

Through this, he wanted to use his time to procure the necessary goods for the future such as basic knowledge crystals, without slowing anyone down.

He knew that the Hidden Paradise would slowly turn into a gigantic city, and Shane could only hope that there was enough place for everyone because he couldn’t increase his soul world by force anymore.

It had increased in size the moment it had accepted the soul world awakening, as its traits were already undergoing a change, only to be further enhanced when Shane underwent the bloodline awakening.

As such, his soul world had increased to a size of 50 kilometers in diameters!

Despite that size, Shane was not sure if it was already enough to accommodate everyone.

Thus, he would have to increase his strength which was only possible by liquefying his mana as he had already attained a perfect foundation!

In order to do this, he had to finish the necessary system missions to procure the knowledge crystals as fast as possible. He couldn’t request and solve them once he liquefied his mana to enter the Master stage.

Without knowing how long it would take for the Dark Ice Elves to arrive, the time the Primordial dimensions would remain extinct, and how long it would take for the system, whose malfunctions were increasing substantially, to stop working, the time left with Shane to make preparations was unknown.

This was even more frightening than knowing that he might have only two months to finish everything.

Thus, Shane decided to search for the basic knowledge crystals that had the basic knowledge about the creation process of [Cultivation- Mana purification manuals], [Physique- body refinement manuals], [Mana absorption- mana gathering manuals]

The last knowledge crystal was not as important as the others because one could train absorbing mana without a proper technique.

In the end, the efficiency might be much lower than one would require, but a mana absorption rate was not a mandatory prerequisite anymore!

Looking at the three knowledge crystals whose appearance was ordinary, Shane requested the missions for all three at once.

Somehow, he hoped that the three missions would morph into one extremely difficult mission, only to give him permission to procure all three knowledge crystals once he had completed one hellish mission, but that was unfortunately not something that just happened.

When Shane saw the last three missions he had to solve before the system and Primordial dimensions were to cease to exist, he couldn’t help but feel weird.

‘So, those will be my last system missions?’
