Shane had used the watchtower the Astral Artisans had manufactured in order to leave the underwater cave.

It was not easy to place it at the right position, even less around the pond of water, but with the help of others that had to emerge through the Hidden Paradise, it was possible!

After the watchtower had been placed, the few Artisans that had helped him returned to the Hidden Paradise while Shane left the underwater cave.

Outside the underwater cave, he took a deep breath and Shane decided to let the watchtower remain there.

"I was the first one to clear the cavern hall with the Syldalyr sand since the whole cave should have been created.

They won't be able to reap as many benefits as I and the others received either way! It would be weird if there will ever be a similarly profitable cavern hall in the underground cave!"

Shane was sure that he had been extremely fortunate that nobody had found and looted the underwater cave, but on the other hand, it had not only been luck!

If one were to enter the underwater cave alone, a mana purity of 90% or even more would have been required to defeat the 7 advanced ocean hounds!

There were not many humans that had such a high mana purity, and among them even less would bother about doing the same arduous research Shane had done!

On the other hand, it was possible to enter the underwater cave with a slightly larger group as he had done.

However, in that case, one had to ensure the safe return of every single member by hook or crook!

There had yet to be a human with a soul bound world like the Hidden Paradise, or at least Shane had never heard about anyone with a world within them!

As such, he was not only lucky to have reaped the benefits, but several other advantages he had accumulated and made use of!

During the last few days, he had received many messages from his aunt and uncles, which Shane had mostly ignored.

It was important to stay vigilant in the underwater cave, and it would have been bad if he were to allow someone to distract him!

Thus, he began to read them only now!

There were more than a dozen messages, but Shane could tell that they would mostly talk about the same things!

Aunt Kia had messaged him the most, and from the information, Talia had passed onto him, Shane could tell what the content of most was!

Exactly as he had expected, Aunt Kia started her messages by praising as well as lamenting his choice to claim lands in the Neptua Ladra region.

Yet, this was only one short message and nothing special.

More important for Shane was that his aunt, Kia, had shared more details with him about the mana awakening event and how the schedule would look like.

Normally, this wouldn't have bothered Shane because he had already attended a few events in his childhood. 

He had been kept a secret, but a few events with the higher authorities were enough for Shane to reveal his existence to the most important and powerful figures of society. 

Nevertheless, the schedule and information about the invited families and foreign races were more interesting than Shane had thought. 

'The Elus- and Forest elven-race has been invited… Is that all? Only envoys from those two races? We should be in a larger alliance…' 

This was confusing to him, but after thinking about it for some time, Shane concluded that the government wanted to thank the Elus race for becoming their partner which, in fact, allowed mankind to awaken Igra's mana heart. 

On the other hand, the Forest elven were humanity's closest alliance partners! Some would even say that the human race and Forest elven were friends! 

Shane found this unlikely because of the vast gap of strength and mankind's greed to reap even more benefits from the Forest elven. 

At the same time, mankind had also been complaining a lot about their treaty with the Forest elven because it created hostility with many other Elven-races.

Nevertheless, Shane didn't seem to be bothered about all of this. 

Rather, he wanted to find out more about the Forest elven and many more different races too! 

'The schedule is nothing special… but this sparring part is annoying! Aunt Kia doesn't think I want to spar with someone, right?'

Instead of that, Aunt Kia had messaged him that one could be challenged at the mana awakening event! 

With that in mind, Shane could accept or decline every challenge he would receive.

This was great because Shane had no intention to reveal his entire combat strength to mankind's higher authorities yet!

Everything has its own time and it was obvious that his time had yet to come!

However, more interesting was that Princess Ilya had messaged him too! 

Ilya had informed him that she and the Old Emperor would attend the mana awakening event!

Even though Shane didn't feel uncomfortable around Ilya, that didn't mean he was overjoyed.

Yet, this was the case when he heard that Old Emperor Kalur would visit Igra too!

Shane had so many things he wanted to know, and the only thing he missed out on was someone who could explain things to him!

He could also read thousands of books to acquire the same kind of knowledge, but Shane did not have enough time to do so!

As such, the Old Emperor was the best solution to quench his thirst for knowledge!

Nevertheless, there were still slightly more than two weeks left before the mana awakening event would be held.

Meanwhile, Shane's gut told him that the whole event would become more annoying than he initially thought!

As such, he decided to increase his physique by practicing the [Tier-2 (Gold)] body refining technique that he had already purchased.

There was no need for him to practice the mana purification technique because his mana purity had already reached 60%.

In order to obtain a manual with a higher mana purification, he had to complete certain missions that would require a lot of his time!

In the end, Shane departed to Masua, the Elus race's origin planet, instead of Igra.

The mana density and purity were on an entirely different level on Masua if one were to compare it to that of basic dimensions, even less than Igra that was still manaless!

This would allow Shane to absorb more mana for himself to strengthen his physique.

However, at the same time, he could increase the accumulated mana within the Hidden Paradise, which he would have to expand during the next two weeks!

The Hidden Paradise had already enough mana to enlarge itself to a radius of 800 meters, and Shane didn't hesitate for a single second as he used up its entire stored mana!

Only a short while later he had already emerged on Masua, where Shane unleashed Hidden Paradise's mana absorption to its fullest capabilities!

"The next big task will be to awaken its mana heart!" 

Just like that, 16 days had passed and there was only one day left before the 18th of July.

Shane had invited Aimy and Olivia to attend the mana awakening event with him as well as Jack and Kylia.

It was his birthday after all, and Shane didn't want to feel uncomfortable at the mana awakening event, without anyone around him! 

This was unlikely to happen, but there was another reason for him to act like this!

Both Aimy and Olivia had been baffled in the beginning, but Shane had just told them that they had to learn how to socialize with mankind's higher authorities and other races too!

As such, they accepted his invitation after some time.

During the last 16 days, Shane had only focused on advancing his physique and he had even purchased a few [Tier-2 (Extraordinary] nutrition solutions in order to speed up the whole body refining process.

This allowed him to reach the 3rd Expert stage in his physical state, which was neither extremely good nor bad.

Nevertheless, it was better than staying at the 1st Expert stage with his body refining, just because he had been too stingy!

There were sacrifices one had to make, and it was better to sacrifice gold coins instead of one's pride!

That might have been an exaggeration, but Shane was fully aware of how prodigious descendants of big families acted.

They were arrogant and self-conceited, and it was rare to find someone like Jack or Kylia among big families' descendants!
