Meanwhile, Shane didn't know what was going on because this was neither something his aunt had told him nor had he received a warning from the system that it might endanger his life, which seemed to be the case, considering that the pain he felt right now was worse than anything he ever had to endure in his whole two lives.

Even dying from being shot in his first life had felt less painful and he could only try to endure everything when he noticed that the world seed approached his mana pool.

This shocked Shane because he was unsure if that was something that should happen or not and only when he remembered that his soul should bind to the world seed, he finally found a ray of hope to put himself out of his misery.

Even if he was unsure how he should bind his soul to the world seed in front of him, his mana pool shouldn't be considered his soul, which meant that it was not normal for the world seed to act as it did now.

Several minutes passed before the bright blue light inside the principal office began to dim and the surrounding students and teachers sighed in relief, while Kia rushed towards Shane who was barely able to breathe.

He was barely able to stay conscious, only to hear a notification, before everything went dark.
