Alex immediately realized that this man was the gym leader of Pewter City, Brock.

Brock in this Pokémon world seems to have more success with women than his counterpart from the anime.

Alex thought, "Fuk! Is that Brock? Why does he have two beautiful girlfriends at once? This Brock seems to be much more popular than the Brock from the anime. But it also makes sense that a gym leader would have no problem with finding beautiful women who want to get into a relationship with him. I wonder how strong his Pokémon are in this world."
