City A was still as freaking cold as Han remembered! How can a place just on the other side of his own city have such a silly temperature!? City C was definitely never this cold!

Tao Long got a car for Han quickly and they made their way into the deeper areas of City A. The people there wore thick clothing and Han couldn’t see a lot of lakes and streams as he moved through the estates. It seemed City A was also lacking water. Han wouldn’t be surprised if there were a lot of flooding problems.

Oh well, it wasn’t like he was going to be staying here for long. He needed to get to that benefactor’s office building and make sure that idiot didn’t get himself into trouble. If Han finds out that that man was just trying to hide from him then blood would definitely flow!

The office building of the benefactor was a large skyscraper located in the middle of the city. ‘ThermoRun’ was written in large big fonts at the top of the building. Ha thought it was a stupid name, but who was he to judge the benefactors making sense. All he came here for was his drug.

Heh… Han never thought he would be saying something like that. Look at him now.

He entered the office building and walked up to the receptionist there. She was a mousy-looking woman with brown hair and black highlights. Once she saw Han a blush streaked across her face. What a handsome man!

“H-Hello! What can I do for you?”

Han smiled at her and her blush deepened like crazy. Was this man a young master!? He did not look like he was ordinary!

Tao Long stood behind Han and made sure to keep his eyes peeled for any sort of danger in this place. He can’t let anything happen to the boss?

But he did not like how cold this place was at all! How can anyone live here?

“I was wondering if your CEO was in? Can you tell him that a Mr. Han Luo is here to see him?”

The woman’s face suddenly went solemn and her eyes became downcast.

“Sorry, but the CEO is not in. He hasn’t come in for close to a week now,”

Han felt his eye twitch. This couldn’t be happening. Not now!

“Then is there someone I can take to? Anyone at all will do?”

The woman quickly nodded and grabbed the phone at the side. She made a call to the vice president’s office and told the vice president who was here. There was a second of stunned silence on the line before the vice president quickly told her to send Han up.

“Please follow the elevator on the right to the tenth floor. The vice presidents office is unmistakable,”

Han thanked her and she blushed while waving Jim away shyly. She wished he came back to ask for her number! She wanted to date a rich handsome man too!

Han entered the elevator and went up to the tenth floor. It seemed he really couldn’t catch a break! Nowadays everything just messed itself up one way or another! Just get me the drugs and I’ll forget you exist! But you just had to go and get missing!?

The elevator dinged open and he walked into the floor. There was a receptionist at the side who ushered him in respectfully and then led him towards the Vice president’s office. Han told Tao Long to wait outside and then he entered alone.

“Mr. Han Luo. It’s a pleasure to finally meet the youngest billionaire in City C,”

The vice president was a female with long blonde hair tied into a ponytail behind her head. She had bright blue eyes and Han couldn’t help but think she looked a lot like Rina. She shook his hand and then led him to a seat.

“Please, what can I do for you? It’s not every day that a small company like our own will receive someone like you,”

Han waved away the pleasantries. He could tell that she was just trying to gain favour with him because of his status but he did not have time for such things right now.

“It’s a pleasure to meet you, but I didn’t just come here for a greeting. I came to meet your president. Where is he?”

The woman’s face squeezed in distress for a second before she sighed and leaned forward while stapling her finger. This showed Han that she was very stressed out. It seemed she had been very busy lately. Her table was filled with documents and papers for her to sign and he was feeling a little bad that he interrupted her work. But this was important.

“I haven’t seen the president since last week. People have been coming to look for him for a long time, but he is nowhere to be found…”

Han hummed in curiosity.

“When was the last time he was seen?”

The vice president rose her brow.

“Well, that was a week ago. I heard that he suddenly told his driver to take him somewhere and he did not allow any of his guards to come with him. The two of them just disappeared after that!”

Han became even more suspicious. Why would the benefactor just disappear? He was not going to say he knew the man more than most people, but from the little he knew of the man, it didn’t seem like he would want to lose money for any reason.

Suddenly leaving your company like this will definitely make you lose money!

Did that not mean that he did not go of his own free will. The only person that Han knew could control people now was Regulus. If he took that benefactor that means he was planning something for the drugs.

Han leaned forward and spoke in a softer tone.

“These people that came to look for him. Can you tell me about them…?”

The vice president suddenly became guarded. She did not think it was a good idea to talk about her company visitors, no matter who was asking. This man was still business competition and she still had to uphold the ethics of business.

“Sorry, Mr Han… I don’t think…”

The vice president’s eyes glazed over for a second before her entire body suddenly relaxed. Wow. She felt amazing. Who was this man in front of her.. oh, it was Mr. Han Luo. What a kind man. He was completely harmless. Yes… He was her friend.

Han smiled and the vice president was mesmerized. Wow, his smile was so kind!

“Can you tell me who these people are, vice president?”

The vice president smiled back

“Of course, Han. I couldn’t see them all very well but they were mainly friends of the CEO and people that had business with him. Most of them were business men here in City A… but I don’t think those ones were… No, definitely not… those other people were not from City A business sector.”

Han latched onto the last thing she said. She was talking in such a dreamy and slurring voice while trying to lean forward and grab onto Han’s hands. Han made sure to keep her focused on what she was saying. This could be important!

“You said there were some people that weren’t from the business sector. Who are they?”

The vice president leaned forward till her head landed on the table with a thunk. She was so relaxed~ she hasn’t been able to sleep for almost three days now~ Can she sleep now?

“Hey, hey… Come on wake up.. what did you say about those people?”

The vice president blinked her eyes tiredly. Oh?.. right. The nice man was still here.

“They were saying something about a warehouse and something about Wis… Wisyy- oh, what was it again?”

“Wisteria? Was it wisteria?”

“Ah… Yes.. Wisteria. What a funny name~ weeeee”

Han sighed as the vice president finally closed her eyes and fell asleep. It seems he used too much of his powers to handle her. He would have to find a way to reduce the output of this skill. If it was always on MAX then he wouldn’t be able to get good information from people.

Han stood from the desk and put his coat back on, but his eyes caught a paper on the table with his company logo attached to the front page and he picked it up to read.
