He looked around him and saw he was inside a large room. It was painted a pure white and it was empty other than a single bed at the other end of the room. Han gripped his hand around his sword – Hold on. Where is my sword? And my wings? I didn’t deactivate my skills! How come my weapons are gone!? Han immediately activated his skills again but his system brought up a prompt.
[Due to current conditions, all skills and abilities are locked]The fuck? Han furrowed his brow in shock. What conditions!? Why are my skills locked!? Han looked up again as he wondered what was going on.

A loud yawn drew Han’s attention back to the bed and Han saw something turn around. Is that a girl? Yes, that is definitely a girl. Han stepped closer to the girl lying on the bed and he saw that she was sleeping happily while covering herself with white fur. It was common etiquette not to disturb someone if you see them sleeping, but Han needed answers and he was too pissed to give a fuck about etiquette!
“Wake up!”

Han shouted and slammed his feet into the foot of the bed and the girl screamed as she jolted off the bed! She looked around in surprise while trying to find what happened, but then her eyes landed on Han and they widened. Who is this?
The girl was wearing nothing at all as she cleaned her eyes with the back of her hand. Han felt his eye trail down her body and he had to admit she was very beautiful. Her skin was milky white and there wasn’t a damn single blemish anywhere. Her hair was white and it made her look like some sort of angel. her naked breasts were right in front of Han and Han shook his head to look away. He can’t get distracted so easily
“Who are you?”
The girl asked this and Han tried his best not to shout. He just finished fighting off a freaking planet and he appeared here without any explanations. He had every reason to be annoyed, but he won’t shout without knowing who this was first.
“I’m Han Luo. Who the fuck are you? And where the hell am I?”
The girl scratched her head and Han finally noticed that this girl wasn’t ordinary at all! Her hair was pure white and that is why Ha didn’t notice before, but she had a pair of fox ears lying on top of her head. And the blanket that Han thought was just fur wasn’t fur at all! They were moving independently behind the girl and they were attached to her! They were tails! Is she a youkai!?
“Uh… Yawn~ What time is it? I-I don’t know what’s going on,”
Han took another deep breath! Don’t hit her. Don’t hit her. Han repeated those words in his head over and over as he held himself back from smacking this girl! She was just so annoying! What the fuck do you mean by what time is it!?
“What time do you think it is!?”
“I-I don’t know. W-Wait, when was the big bang again? Yesterday, right!? Come on, give me a break! I don’t know!”
The girl was now whining while looking up at Han and Han felt his self-control break! Han felt like frying her with his eyes!
“What the fuck do you mean by the big bang!? That was billions of years ago!!”
“Eeehhhh!!!!! Really!? Then why did you wake me!? It’s still early!!”
“No, it’s not! There’s no way a billion years is early!? Who the hell sleeps for a billion years and says it’s early!?”
The girl slammed her hand on the bed aggressively but to Han, it just looked like a child throwing a tantrum! She huffed at Han before she looked away. Han felt his eye twitch! Did this girl just huff at me?
Han just sighed as he finally calmed down and asked a question.
“Where the hell am I?”
The girl rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand again as she answered. She looked like she just wanted to get back to sleep.
“You’re in my room. The Realm of equivalent exchange”
The what? Han was confused by that name. Was there a reason for it? Han asked something else.
“What happened to my powers? I came in here and my powers suddenly disappeared. Were you the one that did that?
The girl yawned again as she finally knelt up on the bed and faced Han. Han saw her tails swaying behind her and he counted nine. A nine-tailed fox. Interesting.
“I am Balance. Sorry if you lost your power, it’s my authority and I can’t control it. You’ll get it back after you leave here, but you can’t get it back when you’re in front of me. We have to be equals to talk here. That’s the law of equivalent exchange. Equality”
Han immediately understood. So right now he was on the same level of power as this Balance? Her authority reduces the power of anyone around her and makes that person her equal. Does that mean that he can’t hurt her even if he does this?

Han blinked as he looked at Balance holding her head with small tears in her eyes. He flicked her forehead to see if he could hurt her and he was surprised that he could. Aren’t they meant to be equals? How can he still hurt her?

Cute. That was the one word that filtered through Han’s head when he saw Balance looking up at him like that. She was still naked and the entire scene seemed like it came straight out of one of those shoujo mangas that Rina usually reads. She was just too cute! Han hummed as he finally stood straight again. She was right, he shouldn’t be so distracted.
“Well, I assume you are the second in the temple. If you are, then is there some sort of test that you have for me, or is that planet back there the test?”
Balance widened her eyes!
“Eh? Did you fight fluffy!? Did you kill him!?”
The girl was very surprised to hear that Han fought the planet! She knows that she has been asleep for a long time but no mortal could fight fluffy back then! Was this man able to kill fluffy!?
The name fluffy was extremely misleading in Han’s opinion! There was nothing fluffy about that fucking rock! Han didn’t know if he killed the planet or not since he was transported here before he could see the outcome of the battle. But it was very likely that fluffy died. Han shrugged as he answered that he didn’t know if fluffy was alive and also that he was transported here before he could check.
Balance pouted cutely. She liked fluffy, but it was likely that he was dead now.
“If you fought fluffy and you’re here then you probably killed him. Fluffy wouldn’t let anyone through until his dying breath. Aw. I really liked fluffy. He has been there for years. Oh well, so you’re here for the test? That means you must be that Han Luo. I’ve been waiting for billions of years, why did you take so long before you were born?”
Han noticed that Balance was talking to him the same way the watcher spoke to him. Almost like they already knew that he would come here and they have been waiting for billions of years just for Han to be born! Han didn’t know how fate and destiny worked and he didn’t believe in destiny! He hated anything that dictated your actions for you and took away your free will. But this entire scenario was making Han rethink this! Why do they know so much about me?
