Quinthreath looked Ai in the eye and finally asked her what happened. He didn’t need to know who injured her. It was obvious.
“We were ambushed during the day. I got a message from Troy that he wanted to talk about a possible alliance. He was talking about that new king that came to the Temple. His name is King Han, isn’t it? Troy wants to go and get rid of Han on floor fifty-seven and he said that in exchange for that, the Celestials would give us entrance to the Celestial plane. I didn’t believe him and he told me nothing was stopping him from taking my kingdom if I refused him. The next day, we were attacked before we could even finish preparing our defenses! It was planned from the start! He already decided to attack me since he thinks the Celestials would bail him out of any problem! He is completely ignoring the agreement between all the kings – Ugh!”
Ai held onto her stomach again as she felt pain there! She had to take it easy for a while or she won’t be able to fight! If her soldiers see her like this, then their morale will drop right to the ground! I can’t be weak no matter what! But then Quinthreath had a strange thought! Is Freya also a part of this!?
No wonder she has been acting weird lately! She also plans to capture Han!
Quinthreath didn’t have any means of contacting Han. Han never told him about the ability to talk through the Shadow Hunters and so Quinthreath started to wonder if he should go back and warn Han! This floor is important, but Han is my King. I can’t let them just kill him since I am his ally.

Troy looked down towards the mountain where Ai and Quinthreath were standing and his smile widened when he saw Quinthreath. This must be the one who made these soldiers! He is a mage so his MP must be very high for him to keep bringing these things back to life over and over like this!
Troy thought it was good that Quinthreath was here. At least Freya could poison King Han without any sort of issue. If I take a few minutes here to just take care of these two, then I can go and help Freya then things should still be fine! There is no way that greenhorn will be able to beat Freya in a game of betrayal. I know she is one of the best at making people let down their guard!
Troy laughed again as he shouted out to Quinthreath!
“Do you think these toys can stop me!? You came here just to die together with that silly girl! Come up here by yourself if you think you can take me on!”
Quinthreath gritted his teeth, but he didn’t dare move! He could feel Troy’s Bloodlust and it was already suppressing him from up there! If he went closer, then he wouldn’t even last for a minute!
