Picking Up Beautiful Girls In The Post-Apocalyptic World!

Chapter 164

Boom!!!

A loud sound echoed through a large clearing. That was the sound of the ground breaking as Leona tried to land a hit on Senna and missed. Senna moved back using her skill [Quick Step] and then quickly activated the skill [Earthquake]! The ground vibrated and Leona jumped up and activated the skill [Lions Roar].

Roarrrr!!

A large sonic wave of sound escaped from Leona’s mouth and broke the ground around Senna, making her stumble backward. Leona quickly used [Flight] to move in for another attack, but Senna rose her hand and activated one of her skills above 150.

[Earth Coffin] has been activated.

A large ball of stone formed around Leona and Leona couldn’t do anything as the coffin shot towards the ground and buried her deep in the floor with a large Boomm!! Senna ended the skill and smiled down at the panting form of Leona.

“It will take a few more years before you can challenge me like that. You shouldn’t have rushed in at the end there, were you trying to get yourself killed?”

Leona grunted and rolled over before getting up. She didn’t think Senna would have a skill like the stone coffin. How else was she expected to capitalize on the opening she created using her [Lions Roar]?

Name – Leona

Level – 45

Strength – 150

Stamina – 130

Agility – 250

Intelligence – 95

Free Points – 20

Skills – [Lions Roar – 160] [Flight – 100] [Critical Hit – 90] [Blood Lust – 110] [Scan – 160] [Golden Eye – 80] [Danger Sense – 112]

But it was not a total waste. The three new recruits have been training with Senna for a while now, and even though they were still a bit irritated by how she is so much stronger than them, they have learned to accept it because this training is making their skills improve at a great pace.

Leona’s Lion’s roar is already at 160 when it was only 152 before she came to the temple. She still wonders when they will be allowed to go to the higher floors and fight. She hadn’t gone past the seventh floor since that day when she joined the guild, and she couldn’t even say that those monsters were a threat at all! She even saw some people coming to hunt them for food! Food! How can food be the challenge!?

Senna patted Leona on the shoulder when she saw her expression. Senna knows what Leona was thinking and she gave her some advice.

“We’re trying to make sure you don’t have any issues when you start fighting for real. For now, just enjoy the peace and get ready for that tenth floor, that is where the real fight is,”

Senna said this before she started to walk away and Leona decided it would be good to put in some more training before she left to rest. The other two recruits were going out to town later and they invited her to join them, maybe she would accept their invitation so they could develop good teamwork. Leona might be used to fighting on her own, but for now, she knows that she needs to form a good relationship with the other members of her team.

….

Han was sitting on a reclined chair and drinking from a can of soda as he watched the fight happening in front of him. Yue and Lily were currently with Han on the sixth floor and they were trying to gain their pass into the next floor. Rin already fought yesterday and gained access, so she was back in the restaurant helping out.

Han knows he could just help them to fight through all the monsters before allowing them to gain the pass by going through the portal, but how would that help them? They would be killed on the higher floors if they don’t have the necessary power and Han is not going to allow them to get killed because they were too dependent.

Roar!!!

A wolf roared as it ran up to Han from the side, but Han just put his hand out and grabbed it by the snout. The wolf blinked in shock.

“Hey! You let one getaway! Don’t let them come close to me, I need to rest!”

Han said this as he tossed the wolf like a ragdoll back at the two girls and Lily waved her hand forward to create a spike of ice that impaled the wolf in midair! Yue waved at him and Han waved back while eyeing the silver star on her left hand.

Yes, just the other day, Yuuma finally went ahead with the upgrade and she improved the system for both Lily and Yue. It wasn’t even a very long process and it pissed Han off when he realized that he could’ve done this a long time ago! Lily and Yue were so happy when they finally saw their system level up for the first time that they just started crying. Han knows that they were always feeling very useless when they couldn’t even handle small monsters like these wolves, so he was just happy that they could now do more.

The two of them were working together, for now, to raise their skills as much as possible. Yue already had two skills that were close to the 150 mark, so it was very easy for her to level them up to gain a silver star. Lily still has a bronze star, but Han knows that she was working just as hard to gain a silver star as quickly as possible.

The good thing that Han didn’t tell them was that they still had two more upgrades that they could go through. Yuuma told Han that the upgrades could take a system straight from bronze star to gold stars, but Han told her not to do that yet. He wanted Yue and Lily to enjoy the ecstasy of gaining power on their own for now. Before they go to the tenth floor, Han is going to do the remaining upgrades and they would be even stronger!

“Daddy! We’re done! The wolves were so weak, they didn’t even put up a good fight! I wanna go to higher floors!”

Han blinked his eyes open from where he had been resting and he pulled his sunglasses down to take a look at the pile of dead wolves on the other side of the forest. Wow, they really went all out with those new skills. And he can feel that both Yue and Lily became much stronger than before. Were they getting strong this fast because they are trying to recover all those levels they could never gain before? Or was it because the monsters they were fighting now were much stronger than the

zombies back on earth?

Han smiled as he pet Yue’s head and then stood up while stretching. He could use a new drink since this one is already finished. A weight suddenly settled on Han’s back and he turned to see Lily there. Han wrapped his hand under her legs as they began walking to the portal so they could get their pass for the next floor. Once they are finished here they could just go back to the first floor for today and continue the other floors tomorrow. Han can see the girls are tired, they already worked hard today.

……

When Han and the girls finished getting the pass for the next floor, they went back to the first floor and appeared at the portal in the town. The portal was surrounded by a lot of people who were either trying to sell goods to fighters or waiting for their turn to use the portal. It was like the people here formed a market around the portal!

Han came down from the platform the portal was on and he eyed Lily on his back. She tightened her hand around his neck and he knew she wouldn’t be coming down anytime soon. Whatever, just don’t fucking bite me or I’ll kick your ass.

They walked through the town to get to the restaurant and they were about to get there when Han was suddenly shoulder tackled by someone. The person stumbled back and Han turned to him with curious eyes. Who the hell is this idiot?

“Hey! Don’t you see me walking here!? How can you just hit me like that!?”

Han narrowed his eyes at the disrespectful tone. He knew that this man was coming from a long way back, but isn’t it usually common sense to move out of the way when a large group is coming. Do you want to just walk through the middle? Are you stupid?

“Say something, or are you dumb!? Apologize!”

Han turned his eye away and started to walk again. He doesn’t have time to deal with these people. He had to go back so the girls could rest. But it looks like the man that hit him didn’t have any sense of self-preservation because, at the next moment, he suddenly pushed Han to the side!

“I said apologize!”
