Peerless Battle Spirit

Chapter 2273: Arriving In Person

Chapter 2273: Arriving In Person

Early next day…

In the Undying Cycle Mountain…

Qin Nan returned and landed on the Hidden Martial Palace in the first stage. He poured his energy into the Ownerless Heaven Pattern. It soared into the sky and extended itself to loom over the area.

Jiaye appeared from the Ownerless Heaven Pattern. He stared into the sky above the mountain and performed a series of hand seals.

Zhou Xundao also used his power as the mountain spirit. The white mist shrouding the third stage thickened. Even its magnificent outline was close to invisible.

It also drew a blurry path reaching the middle section of the third stage, in front of an ancient immortal palace.

As the master of the Undying Cycle Mountain, Qin Nan had only opened the first three stages. Even if Cang came, he could only visit the third stage at most.

The procedures Zhou Xundao had carried out were to prevent Cang from learning the secrets of the Undying Cycle Mountain with some unusual methods.

Meanwhile, at the end of the third stage, Empress Feiyue, Progenitor Mingchu, and the others were making preparations too.

“Qin Nan, it’s done,” Zhou Xundao transmitted his voice after some time.

“Thank you, senior!”

Qin Nan bowed and waited patiently inside the immortal palace.

The meeting was organized in secret. The other formidable factions were completely unaware of it. They were busy preparing for the expedition to the Blue Heavens.

Something worth mentioning was, during this period, the Patriarch and authorities of the Shidao Tribe had sent envoys to tell Qin Nan they had something important to discuss with him.

Qin Nan temporarily rejected their request after giving it a thought.

He was aware of the Shidao Tribe’s intention, but he did not share the same thought for the time being.

Time gradually passed. Three days later…

“Qin Nan, we have a message from Cang!” Progenitor Mingchu said.

“Did he achieve the Master Realm and leave the Dao Seeking Land? Please tell them to wait for me in the Sparrow Palace located in the Third Small Immortal Realm.”

Qin Nan’s eyes glittered.

“Sure! We are tracking Cang’s whereabouts too,” Progenitor Mingchu said.

Qin Nan closed his eyes. He waited until Cang gave his response before leaving the Undying Cycle Mountain.

Around the duration of an incense stick later, Qin Nan brought a figure to the first stage.

The man was in a purple robe with two imperious ten-clawed golden dragons rising from the bottom and laying their heads on the shoulders. The dragons were extremely vivid. Their ice-cold eyes were observing the living creatures nearby on behalf of their master.

Even though the flesh once belonged to Xiang Hun, Qin Nan could not feel the slightest sense of familiarity from it. He could only sense an imperious strange aura.

“So that’s Cang?”

“Such a formidable aura!”

“It’s only his clone too. His true self isn’t here!”

The cultivators in the Undying Cycle Mountain had fixed their eyes on the man.

Even though Cang had taken over Xiang Hun’s body, he was reborn into this world unlike Zhou Di who was reincarnated on Qin Nan.

Who could possibly miss out on the opportunity to meet a legend like him?

“Tsk tsk, I didn’t think the Undying Cycle Mountain could be so lively one day. So many imbeciles below the Master Realm have moved into here,” Cang looked up at the clouds and exclaimed.

His voice was not particularly loud, but it clearly reached every cultivator’s ears.

The word imbecile was piercing the ears of the cultivators like sharp swords.

“You didn’t even have a flesh around twenty days ago. Weren’t you worse than an imbecile?” Qin Nan smiled.

“You are right,” Cang shrugged indifferently.

“Are you done preparing the things we need? Only two days left until the first day of the next month. I will have to repair the Supreme Haotian Badge as soon as possible for some of the Masters of Dao to make it in time,” Cang said.

“They are all here.”

Qin Nan took out a storage bag and said, “This isn’t the place to talk. Let’s head inside.”

To his surprise, Cang shook his hand and said in a playful tone, “Here is fine. I won’t be staying for long. I believe you and Zhou Xundao assumed I’m here to pry into the secrets of the Undying Cycle Mountain.”

Qin Nan did not respond.

Cang added, “That’s not true at all. I’m just a little Master of Dao. I’m not capable enough to pry into the secrets of the Undying Cycle Mountain. I’m only here for three reasons.”

“First, I would like to meet Feiyue, but it looks like she didn’t want to see me if she isn’t around. If I’m not mistaken, she must be tracking down Wuwang somewhere else, am I right?”

Qin Nan said expressionlessly, “I’m afraid you are overthinking it. She just detest you.”

Cang’s expression froze before letting out a helpless sigh.

“It’s true that I wasn’t a great father before.”

Cang shook his head, but his expression was replaced with a grin, “Let’s not worry about that. The second reason is, I’m curious what your attitude is when you see me again.”

“You didn’t disappoint me.”

“As for the third reason…”

The smile on Cang’s face remained the same, but it was giving off an eerie vibe, “Zhou Di and I were enemies for a long time. I’ve tried many ways to take over the Undying Cycle Mountain, but none of them succeeded, nor have I ever entered the Undying Cycle Mountain.”

“It’s a pity that Zhou Di has been reincarnated instead of being reborn.”

“I just happened to be a vengeful person. I’m still holding a strong grudge against him until today! Don’t you think it’s a great humiliation to him now that I’m standing inside one of the two greatest artifacts he once possessed?”

“You might not agree with me, but to me, it feels like I’m trampling him under my foot!”

Cang sounded extremely pleased with himself.

The eyes of the cultivators widened as they were placed underr suffocating pressure. Even the Masters of Dao felt like a huge boulder was crashing down on their backs.

“Cang, you were once one of the Supreme Highnesses. Why are you acting like an assh*** now?” Zhou Xundao said with a thunderous voice.

Cang ignored the words. His laughter continued to reach everyone’s ears.

However, the laughter suddenly stopped as Cang’s eyes widened.

Qin Nan’s right hand had unleashed a terrifying force to grab Cang around the neck. Qin Nan forcibly lifted Cang off the ground.

“Do you still feel the same way?” Qin Nan asked expressionlessly.
