Chapter 2216: Wedding Ceremony, Part Three

Chapter 2216: Wedding Ceremony, Part Three

“Pay respect to your parents, teachers, and seniors!”

The voice of the five emcees brought Qin Nan back to his senses. He served a cup of immortal wine to Qin Nan and the others, followed by Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan.

“Very well!”

Qin Tian burst out laughing and drank the wine.

He had been waiting for this day for too long.

“Son, you better listen carefully. You must be obedient to the Princess and Lanlan. If I heard you mistreat them in the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm, I will not go easy on you!” Qin Tian withdrew his smile and said sternly.

Qin Nan’s lips twisted. Did he have to switch his expression so quickly?

Besides, did he even have the guts to disobey the Princess and Lanlan?

“Thank you, uncle.”

Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan blushed.

“HAHAHA, are you sure it’s right to call him uncle still?” Gong Yang and the others burst out laughing.

“Thank you…father,” Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan said softly.

“You may now perform the Seal of One Heart. No matter what your cultivation is in the future or what kind of danger you are in, you will never abandon one another. You will protect one another forever.”

Qin Nan looked at the two women, who were looking back at him too.

The hand seals they performed were tied with a strong knot.

The ritual was done.

At that particular instant, Qin Nan’s statues across Canglan Continent began to emit a mystical light. Many cultivators stared at the statues in excitement.

They rarely saw the statues behaving so strangely since the first year of Qin Miao.

The whole continent was giving their blessings while staring at the statues.

The beautiful brides returned to their room.

Qin Nan sealed his cultivation and had an enjoyable time drinking with the guests.

It was already midnight when the feast ended. The moonlight shone upon the garden while the stars were shining in the sky.

Qin Nan went past the garden and stood in front of a room. He took a deep breath and pushed the door open slowly. The moonlight sprinkled into the room.

Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan sat on the edge of the bed. Two dim candles and the scarce moonlight lit up the room and their blushed faces.

Qin Nan stared at them blankly.

“How long are you going to stare at us for?”

Princess Miao Miao felt her face burning. She was struggling to describe her feelings.

She had already done it once with Qin Nan, yet she did not feel the same before as she was now.

“I will be staring at you forever,” Qin Nan chuckled after he collected his thoughts. He closed the door and said, “Princess, Lanlan, there’s one more ritual. You will have to seal away your cultivation temporarily.”

Qin Nan flicked his finger and placed the room under a seal. He proceeded to seal away his cultivation, his spirit, and his Divine Sense.

His great great great grandfather emphasized that the art of merging Yin and Yang was a gradual process. It was better if the people involved were just ordinary humans.

Qin Nan did not dare to disobey the instructions.

Princess Miao Miao and Jiang Bilan were a little confused. Why had they never heard of it before?

However, even Jiang Bilan who was extremely intelligent did not think much about it. She proceeded to seal away her cultivation.

A breeze blew out the candles. The moonlight was the only source of light in the room.

They looked up and saw Qin Nan standing very close to them. His eyes were magnificent like the stars.

They felt a strange atmosphere.

“Ugh!”

Princess Miao Miao’s eyes widened when she felt the warmth on her lips.

Xiao Nanzi…

He was doing it so roughly!

Jiang Bilan’s body shuddered when a misbehaving warm hand wrapped around her waist.

Words were not needed to describe what followed next.

Early next morning, the door swung open following a squeak.

Qin Nan came out of the room. He was in a pleasant mood as he looked at the rising sun.

Even though he might be a Master of Dao in the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm, he realized that the older generations were more knowledgeable in certain fields.

What his great great great grandfather taught him was right!

“Son, come see me,” Qin Tian’s voice spoke in Qin Nan’s mind.

Qin Nan closed the door softly and went straight to the main hall.

Qin Tian was still wearing the same red robe. He was brewing a pot of tea. He took a sip when he saw Qin Nan had arrived and said, “Qin Nan, there’s no such thing as eternity in this world. Even the Heavens and the Earth will deteriorate and the Great Dao will be destroyed. The strongest cultivator would die eventually and turn into nothing too.”

Qin Nan was startled.

Qin Tian added, “I believe you know it better than I do, so I have to remind you that your first priority now isn’t to pursue a higher cultivation level or fulfill your ambitions, but to have a child instead.”

Qin Tian placed his cup of tea down and said, “You will return to the Nine Heavens Immortal Realm once Princess Miao Miao and Lanlan are pregnant. I will take care of the kids when they are still young.”

Qin Tian’s eyes glittered.

He had no interest in fame, personal gains, or strength, but he was looking forward to seeing a new generation being born in the clan.

Qin Nan smiled, “Fine.”

The two had a long conversation before Qin Nan returned to his room. Princess Miao Miao was already awake. She blushed as soon as she saw Qin Nan. She grabbed him and took a huge bite on his shoulder, although her teeth were hurting more than Qin Nan’s shoulder.

“Princess!” Qin Nan stared at her.

“Don’t look at me like that. You are such a jerk to ask us to seal away our cultivation last night, and…”

Princess Miao Miao blushed again. She quickly said as she thought of something, “Oh right, you should meet Sister Feiyue.”

Qin Nan was stunned, “Now?”

Princess Miao Miao rolled her eyes and harrumphed, “You dumbwit, why don’t you understand her feelings toward you or how important she is to you? You should feel blessed for meeting a woman like her!”

Jiang Bilan poked her head out and nodded.

Qin Nan shook his head and said, “Princess, I think there’s a misunderstanding. Empress Feiyue and I have always been…”

He suddenly paused in the middle of the sentence.

“Idiot!”

Princess Miao Miao giggled and waved her hand, “Just go, Lanlan and I need to rest more.”

Qin Nan wore a puzzled look at first, but it was soon replaced with determination.

He might not realize what his feelings for Empress Feiyue was, yet it was definitely not what he thought at first.

“Mm.”

Qin Nan nodded and rose to his feet.

He had to visit Empress Feiyue to understand his feelings and her feelings too.

If it was true, he would never let her go. He did not want to feel the immense pain like his heart was being torn apart again.
