Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System

287 An Orchestration?

CREAK!

Amon, Bleed, and the other void beasts including Destate—were all in a state of panic. All of them recalled what Destate told them about their fates—that it would be all black.

Could it be because of this being that just arrived and suddenly had malicious intent towards them?

BREAK!

The created spatial barrier broke and like broken glass, everything was shown in front of Yang Lujia. From within this spatial barrier he broke, he saw different types of void beasts. They were all peculiar in terms of their appearance. Their eyes screamed intelligence. They seemed to know something about him.

When Yang Lujia’s head suddenly landed on Destate, the latter was dumbstruck—as though he could not move an inch of his body. It was horrifying.

On the other hand, Yang Lujia was surprised by the rules surrounding this void beast, it was actually kind of similar to the rules he had used before but he could not completely control them as these rules were not something he could only barely comprehend.

“Interesting,” he muttered under his breath. “I wonder if you know where this ‘void,’ though.”

When every one of them heard Yang Lujia’s voice once more, they all turned stiff—this did not exclude Amon, who was the acting leader of this group of powerful void beasts.

Some of them had familiar parts of their bodies that were all parts of animals that Yang Lujia knew. Like Bleed, he looked like a tiger but this tiger seemed to have a beard that could usually be found on lions.

On the other hand, Amon, who he felt like the strongest of these void beasts, actually held the bloodline of a Flood Void Dragon. This surprised him because he could rarely feel a strong connection between his bloodline with others. This one in particular piqued his interest. Moreover, the purple eyes that this Flood Void Dragon had, it was kind of similar to his.

Although a Flood Void Dragon is technically not a true dragon, they were still descendants, a lineage of true dragons—only that their bloodline was very thin and could be said to be negligible.

Other than this dragon, there was also a jellyfish-like that also caught his attention. Could he eat this jellyfish? Weren’t they poisonous?

Ignoring this random thought, he dashed his gaze back at Amon. “Who are you? Why do I feel a strong connection with you, void beast? Other than your Flood Void Dragon bloodline, there was another strong bloodline in you that I could not exactly point—but it was clearly there…”

“You… what the hell…” Amon almost collapsed in the middle of the void when he saw Yang Lujia’s appearance. Both of them had the same features, not entirely, but this young man before them was actually more elegant and refined than he was in his human form.

“You are supposed to be a void beast. Why do I smell the aura of Da Shikong from you? Aren’t void beasts not permitted to enter any of the five realms? Why do I also smell the aura of humans?” Yang Lujia was somewhat baffled. “You also have that pair of purple eyes… I can’t help but raise some suspicion I don’t even want to start with…”

As Yang Lujia said those words, his pair of eyes gradually changed color. It was as though the void went completely silent the moment his eyes turned from pitch black to purple.

“Are you that brat that they said to be the strongest genius among the geniuses in the four regions? Yang Fei?” he asked, concentrating his aura on this beast called Amon, a Flood Void Dragon.

Yang Fei, who was in his Flood Void Dragon form, was shocked the moment someone recognized him. It was true. Yang Lujia was true about him. He was indeed Yang Fei, the one that was feared by his peers for having power greater than anyone else in the same rank. It was because he was someone from the void himself and he had been using this power to gradually monopolize the four regions and form a faction of his own, for his own to mobilize.

Now, other than the discussion of their fates being seen through by Destate, he was also here to monopolize the void beast’s power by overpowering them with the bloodline he inherited from a family he had only known after he had grown up.

Yang Fei might be a genius in the four regions. In fact, he was considered the strongest one, but he was not in the family he was in the void. He was just a mere human one of those that had the thinnest bloodlines in the family. In the end, he was sent to the Five Realms for a mission and that was to monitor the other bloodlines’ situations, starting from Da Shenghou.

Yang Fei was weak back then, but because of his superiority in terms of his bloodline, although considered thinnest, it made him grow in power faster than anyone else. A lower world like the Five Realms is not enough to shake the foundation of those who were living in the void. At least that was what Yang Fei thought, especially a colossal faction like his family.

On the other hand, there was something that Yang Fei knew that among them; there were also those with the purest bloodlines. They were called the Royalty… and now, he could not believe it even if it was already in front of him. He could feel it through his blood as one sentence from this being made him feel subservient. This feeling…

A Royalty was actually sent to a lower world such as this Five Realms!

“What are you looking at with those weak pair of eyes?” Yang Lujia interrupted the other party’s frozen expression. “Why are you looking at me like you saw your superior? Did you know something about the Yang Tribe? My family’s tribe?”

Yang Lujia’s face was stern when he was looking at Yang Fei right through his eyes.

“No… no… this isn’t possible… why are you someone from their lineage be sent here in the Five Realms? Such a lowly world… who had the guts to send someone like you here?” Yang Fei was filled with questions in his mind.

Freezing the space, Yang Lujia made it certain that the space was stable and that nothing like any kind of storm could disturb their exchange. He was getting closer to the truth about his family and he could not let this pass through that easily.

“Brownie,” Yang Lujia called the dog out. “Is my family’s bloodline somewhat related to dragons?”

Brownie opened his sleepy eyes as he continued to lie in Yang Lujia’s arms. He then looked at Yang Fei who was in his dragon form and at Yang Lujia. “I can only remember a bit. This is something I haven’t told you before because you didn’t ask. However, this is also only the knowledge I have about your family now. Even if I was still the prince of the Devouring Void Dog, I might not be able to grasp much information about your family, but…”

“Just tell me what you know, Brownie.”

“Alright.” Brownie sighed and raised his head, only to close them again because he shuddered the moment his own eyes were laid bare in front of Yang Lujia’s purple eyes. “Anyway, I only know that your family does have a fixed bloodline and this bloodline of yours can be said to have the ability to devour other bloodlines, just like what happened to you. For example, that kid’s parents below us must have devoured a Flood Void Dragon and in turn, devoured it to use it for their own. However, since his parents might have the thinnest of your family’s bloodline, it could only devour a part of the Flood Void Dragon’s powers. As for you… you are different… I can’t divulge any more matter about it… the karma… it’s too great. If I talk more, I might not be able to save myself…”

“Karma… bloodlines…” Yang Lujia pondered it over.

His Avatar Dragon Bloodline and Abysmal Chaos Bloodline were bloodlines bestowed to him by his system. He just didn’t know if this system was something that his father planted on him just to make him stronger the fastest so that he could be used by him when the time came. As he thought before, there were never free lunches in this world.

Was his system something his parents gave him? Or was this something he had gotten after his soul transmigrated into this world?
