Origin Court: Accepting Disciples With A System

281 Using Force

“What did you say?” the Phoenix Ancestor loudly asked that it thrummed into the ears of Yang Lujia and Sheng Ao, making the latter’s face distort in a funny way.

“I said I want the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb!” he repeated, making the Phoenix Ancestor’s wrath explode once more.

“Shut up and go home, boy!” The Phoenix Ancestor directly pushed her powers to the extreme and attacked Yang Lujia to send this little boy out of her own sanctuary. “You should have asked anything, just not the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb!”

Yang Lujia just smiled at this spectacular sight, standing on his ground as if the horrendous aura of the Phoenix Ancestor did not budge him a bit. “Do you really think that with this puny power of yours, you can send me out of this small sanctuary of yours?”

As he said those words, his eyes slowly became purple. His gaze pierced into the accumulating attack of the Phoenix Ancestor. “Disintegrate.”

Yes, that was right! His purple eyes had many uses to count that he had not yet explored. Ever since he had seen his father at the core of the geographical array formation, he had discovered several things about his purple eyes.

He could use his pair of purple eyes to temporarily put others under his control. He could also use them to put pressure on others until they explode. Apart from this, the most wondrous ability that he had uncovered from his eyes was the power of disintegration.

He could disintegrate the power of rules as long as he willed to. Just like that, the attack that was accumulating before the Phoenix Ancestor was broken into pieces, the rules that she comprehended disintegrating into different parts before they disappeared from her sight.

Her heart grew cold as she saw how her attack disintegrated and disappeared. She then looked down at the young man who did this. With her phoenix form, she screeched with unwillingness in her heart. Her pride did not let her think straight anymore as she condensed another attack that Yang Lujia soon disintegrated.

On the other hand, Sheng Ao was in awe as he looked at this master of his. He only kept hearing the word, ‘Disintegrate,’ all this time, and every time he heard this, he would feel a thrum in his heart as the attacks of the Phoenix Ancestor would fade from existence.

‘Just what the hell is my master?’

No wonder Yang Lujia was confident about infiltrating the Phoenix Empress Palace. Sheng Ao realized this as he looked at his master that seemed to be invincible. It was like no one could defeat him with his domineering demeanor.

At that moment, hope grew somewhere inside his heart. Maybe. Maybe this master of his could really get the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb for him!

“If you still think I can’t defeat this little Phoenix Ancestor in front of us, think again, boy,” Yang Lujia’s voice rang into Sheng Ao’s ears and the latter almost jumped back as though he had seen a ghost.

Yang Lujia had close ties with his disciples. Whatever they were feeling inside, he could feel them as though he was a father. It was the wonders of the system that made him feel like this. That was why in the past, he could not really bring himself to see when his disciples were in danger.

“I…” Sheng Ao also felt something inside that was out of customary.

Yang Lujia just smiled at this and did not wait for his words. He then asked Fortuniel in his thoughts, ‘What’s the level of deliciousness of this Phoenix Ancestor if I cook her like Fried Chicken or after I roast her?’

Even Fortuniel was speechless at Yang Lujia’s question. ‘Host, you think nothing but eating, right?’

‘Of course, by eating, I know it can boost my power further,’ Yang Lujia shamelessly replied.

However, it was true to his core as the only way he could level himself up was to do the most leisurely things due to the scripture he practiced.

When the Phoenix Ancestor repeatedly did, she found herself running out of qi. She couldn’t exert any more attacks that seemed to disappear every time she tried to throw them against the very young man in front of her. This human was getting on her nerves as time passed by and finally saw the horror of him as she commanded all the phoenixes outside with the might of her bloodline.

“Assemble the forces. Enemy attack!”

“Right, right, call every one of your force. I can then make several delicacies out of all of you. Chickens, you know, are the tastiest I have ever come across before as a kid. Now that I will be able to taste them again today, I will not miss on the part of slaughtering all your, chickens, to bring with me spare ones to eat after I get full for today’s meal.”

Yang Lujia shockingly revealed words that shocked the Phoenix Ancestor who was now writing with rage as she looked at this being below her. Even if it meant her death, no one could trample the dignity of the phoenixes under her rule.

“Human!” the Phoenix Ancestor growled as she flew to the sky.

Yang Lujia happily followed her as the converging auras of peak Saint Emperors surrounded him. He kept his elation inside him as he looked at his disciple behind him, shivering in fear. With the sheer number of peak Saint Emperors around them, Sheng Ao knew that the Holy Light Palace would not even come close to it.

This was the advantage of those who lived more ages, and years, than them!

“M-Master… we can just forget…”

“Do you think the face of the Phoenix Ancestor would let us go? Can you see her eyes? It’s filled with rage, right?”

“Ancestor!” the other phoenixes bowed down to the one that arrived with Yang Lujia as they looked at her with reverence. Even the one crowned with the crown only suited for the one who could be called an Empress, a Phoenix Empress, was bowing to this existence as well.

“Human brat! Surrender now! We will give you an easy death if you do so!” the Phoenix Empress, whose crown was shining like others, shouted as his eyes glistened—glaring at the two humans that trespassed their palace without her even noticing it.

They even disturbed the sanctuary of the Phoenix Ancestor, her own mother’s abode! And that alone could already be a testament for someone to face the death penalty! Even if it was their own, they would accept the same punishment. Unless they had the permission of the Phoenix Ancestor, even she, the Phoenix Empress, could not get inside her precious abode.

It was like a taboo!

However, Yang Lujia ignored the screeching Phoenix Empress as he looked at the exhausted eyes of the other higher being. “Phoenix Ancestor, the biggest chicken of them all, would you really not give me the Nine-Leaf Nirvana Herb? I’d suggest you give them to me. Otherwise, I really don’t mind staying true to the words I said before—I’ll make you all into my delicacies for me and my disciple to eat. I am not a bloodthirsty person now and I act within my reasonable judgment. Therefore, I do not want to carry out an unnecessary slaughter, even though all of you had been throwing me death glares since you arrived.”

Yang Lujia was also reluctant that this kind of power to be erased from the face of Da Shikong, as they could be said to be beings he could also use for his own, to oversee the Origin Court he intended to create in the Autonomous Region.

“No!”

Yang Lujia then shook his head and said with a solemn light coming out from his eyes as he looked at the Phoenix Ancestor, “I shall start with the people you have under you.”

With a wave of his hand, rules of different kinds spread out—even denser than the ones he had used before. He seemed to have grasped the highest rank of rules that this realm could offer and this was the one he was currently emitting.

SILENCE!

There was only silence. Especially when they saw how five of the peak Saint Emperors phoenixes around them exploded without any sound—as though each one of them was isolated by a barrier that would not let them hear the heart-rending screams of these phoenixes.

When the Phoenix Ancestor saw this, she was frightened as her wings flapped faster. Her breath was exasperated as she looked into the being that was still emitting different kinds of rules, some of them even unrecognizable to hear—but they held a majesty that seemed to be stronger than what she had already comprehended. “What did you do—Noo! Stop!!!”

“Not until you give me the—”

“Here! Here it is! Just please stop!” the Phoenix Ancestor screamed at the top of her lungs while the Phoenix Empress beside her was also terror-stricken as they looked at the ever-calm, nonchalant look of the being that was doing all of this.

When she saw what her mother pulled out of her own body, her eyes bulged out. “Nine-Lead Nirvana Herb!”
