One Piece: Path to Power

So I graduated from High School (Yay) and turned 18 today, plus I had to get my passport renewed so I was quite busy. ​​

With words out of the way, the battle began.

Night energy warped around Aurora's body as she shot towards the Vice Admiral.

Zephyr simply raised his right hand as it blackened with a polished gleam.

*FWOOOO*

The air rumbled as the purple energy was moulded into sharp, purple twin daggers as the girl danced through the air, raining attacks down.

*Clang* x8

The daggers continuously clashed with the black arm causing the sound of metal-on-metal to resound.

Boom!

A small boom went off as the girl was pushed back from the simple attack.

*Vooosh* *Vooosh* *Vooosh*

The air was cut as 3 quick talons were thrown from the girl made up of her fruit powers.

Zephyr just waved his arm as each weapon fell to the ground.

.

In that split second, Aurora used her night travel.

*WOOOMMB*

The ground shook as a purple circle appeared behind the Vice Admiral, Aurora jumped out with great speed and slashed down her twin daggers at the man's open back.

Zephyr saw the attack coming as he disappeared from his position.

'Soru'

He appeared behind Aurora as he tapped her upper back with his index finger.

'Shigan'

*Pew* A small air bullet shot out and drilled into the girl.

"Augghh!"

She groaned once more as she was flung to the wall 30 meters away.

"Haaah, Huuuh," Aurora was breathing deeply, her purple cloak ripped as blood dripped out from her body.

.

She then raised one hand and extended it out, palm facing upwards.

*VOOOO*

The air swirled around as purple energy gathered around it.

A purple lotus flower suddenly materialized in her hands as it gently floated upon her palm.

The lotus spun around her hand as she flashed through the air and towards the Vice Admiral.

"Dawn Lotus!"

.

Her words resounded the broken hall as she drove her attack onto the Black Arm himself.

BOOOOOOM!

A significant explosion was heard by the people nearby as the purple flower exploded against the fist of the marine.

.

It held a lot of force within it, but against an Admiral Candidate, all was futile.

"Ah!" She cried out once more as she pushed back, making Aurora phase in and out of conscience.

.

"That is enough, girl. Any more and your body will collapse." Zephyr said, pitying his opponent.

Aurora regained her balance and looked up with an exhausted expression, "No... I refuse…I won't fall here!"

With those words, a very quick and subtle current of purple energy gathered in her mind, waiting to be released from its shackles, all the while fueling her desire to persist.

Aurora was unsure of what happened as she saw Zephyr squint his eyes as if he was thinking of something.

She then shook her head and continued to attack as she suddenly boomed with her fruit energy as it was wholly released.

The ground underneath was blown apart as Aurora was going for her final, desperate attack.

Zephyr did not waver at all and just waited.

Boom!

A rather large amount of energy was rippling out of the girl as she went on with her move.

Her powers started to gather around her as she started to float in the air.

Her night powers were running in overdrive as she now stood 20 feet above the surface, a purple aether danced behind her.

The collection of purple energy condensed as it started to form stars and shapes as they pulsed with great power.

"Void Nebula!"

.

Aurora's words boomed out as she swiped her arms ahead, the purple mass of energy following the directions as it flooded with endless power, streaming forth.

*VWOOOOOOO*

The air quakes once more as Aurora's last stand persisted and neared her target, Black Arm Zephyr.

.

The Vice Admiral hummed as he saw the power and nodded in appreciation, he was impressed by the revenge-driven child before him.

"Since you have put in everything in this strike, I will scorn your attempts no longer!"

*FWWWM*

A polished black coat of Haki flowed around his arm as he clenched his fist, causing the air to rumble around it.

*Boom*

The ground shuddered as the 11 and a half foot tall marine rushed forth and slammed his fist on the oncoming sea of purple.

BOOOOOOOOOOOOOM!

A grand explosion was heard all over the island as a purple dawn was broadcast all over, some citizens of the past seemed to weep.

*Shaking*

The ground shook once more as the entire castle was breaking down, huge pieces of debris thudding onto the surface, causing huge volumes of dust to rise.

The dust cleared after a handful of minutes.

The Vice Admiral stood with no damage but a small cut across his cheek as his Haki drained out of his arm.

He was not tired or anything, a punch is all it took to cancel out the attack.

.

On the other side of the ruined hall was a huge dent that seemed to look as if a human was blasted through it, and so it was.

*Raining Debris*

The wall finally gave way as it started to fall apart, concrete raining down.

.

Within the field of rocks was a girl, she was immobile, her bones were definitely broken, her body was in terrible condition, yet she was still breathing.

Blood flowed out from her facial orifices as she coughed out crimson liquid.

One eye was shut while the other was waving in and out alongside her conscience as she tried to stay awake.

.

The marine was about to call in the medics to at least save her from any fatal injuries yet a presence suddenly flashed within his range.

All the relieved Royals and Marines were caught off guard as they heard a single, nonchalant voice.

.

"How cruel to beat a defenceless little girl to such a state..."

.

The girl in question eyed the far left as she saw the shadow in the distance.

"Hmm, I guess I was a bit late, well, better late than never." The leisurely voice picked up once more.

.

Aurora's single eye widened as she recognized the voice.

She painfully turned her head and saw him.

The one person who gave her the chance to finally take her revenge.

The person she had so painfully fought to reunite with.

.

She saw his red eyes as they pierced the air and the black hair dancing in the wind, the red streaks reflecting the beams of light during the evening sun.

.

Zephyr squinted his eyes as he used his Observation to gauge the newly arrived.

'What's someone of this level doing here...' He wondered as he made out the youth's face.

.

*Step* *Step* *Step*

Slow yet melodious steps rang out as the youth neared them.

And then...

*Voosh*

His body flashed from 200 meters away and landed in front of the broken girl.

"46 broken bones, a collapsed lung, ripped tendons, a major concussion, *sigh* you really did go quite far..." The boy said as he gently pushed away from the purple streaks off Aurora's face with a smirk.

"Y-You came for me...", she managed to utter as her eyes started to dim away.

He nodded, "Sleep for now, I'll take it from here, little girl."

.

The red-eyed youth took out 2 small vials of liquid and slowly poured them into her mouth, her injuries rapidly healed as the broken bones creaked back together, saving her from any lasting damage.

It won't replenish her stamina but surely save her.

.

*Guns Clicking*

The hundreds of marines that were on standby pulled out their weapons and aimed them at the youth.

"Stop!"

"You're surrounded!"

"Surrender!"

They still had not identified the young man as he was facing away from their direction and the air was still polluted with some dust.

.

Zephyr however was another case.

"For someone with such a significant price on his head, you are quite boisterous with your actions in such a calm sea."

.

The newly arrived pirate then turned around and faced the Admiral Candidate, a smile plastered to his face.

.

"Rahahaha! The seas are an open canvas for us to paint, I'm simply adding some colour..." He replied.

The dust had fully settled as the face became clear to the G-4 Marines.

.

A Rear Admiral widened his eyes as he said in a voice that was heard by all,

"You are... 'Sin Incarnate' Damien, the Fifth Division Commander of the Rocks Pirates!!"

.

A few young recruits newly added to the area ended up popping their eyes out.

"Damien of the Sin!? A bounty of over 1.6 Billion Berries... What is such a powerhouse doing here? Shouldn't he be in the New World!?"

"So young yet with such a terribly high price..."

"I should have transferred out when I had the chance…"

.

Many thoughts were running through the minds of these marines, after all, they were used to weaker forces with bounties ranging at a maximum of 300 million, yet someone with more than 5 times that is now before them!

.

Zephyr was not amused, "For you to come here and save this girl, I take it that it was you who aided her in her survival over these years, no?"

.

Damien nodded, "Hmm indeed, however aided is such a strong word, I simply showed her the way..."

The boy then hummed and went on,

"And now I return to see her in such a condition, I may be an evil pirate but even I can't just stand still while my companion is in such a state, now can I?"

Damien's words grew with intensity as a certain pulse rippled out of his body.

.

BOOOOOM!

A dark-crimson field was blasted out of his body as it bubbled all around him, causing the ground to shake incessantly.

The warm sunlight that was originally brightening up the day was now dimming as a red dawn came in its place, bathing the area an eerie scarlet.

Damien's Haki was exploded out as it weighed down upon the thousands of marines and the tens of thousands of citizens all over the island.

Each one of them was suffocated under the Will of Kings as they collapsed.

One. By. One.

*Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Thud* *Thud*

It was a symphony of thuds as thousands upon thousands of bodies fell by a simple glare by a young yet dangerous pirate.

Eyes rolled back as a graveyard of bodies was all that remained.

"Haoshoku Haki..." Zephyr clicked his tongue as he saw the chaos around him.

He was only here for the day to prevent such things from happening, never did he expect a Conqueror to be interested in the affairs of a Kingdom in Paradise.

"What is your aim here?" Zephyr questioned without much of a reaction.

The 5 Rear Admirals are still standing near him, though struggling.

.

"Hmm, my aim?"

"I came here to save the girl, but knowing what crew I hail from, you shouldn't just expect me to miss this chance to fight a powerful marine, do you?" Damien asked with a devilish smile as he gauged his opponent's strength.

.

"I see, you are just like that Kaido who was caught by Garp, and it seems you will share the same fate as him." He declared as he eyed the boy.

"RAHAHAHA! That fool got what was coming from challenging Garp, but you see, both he and I have something in common, we simply can't run from such an interesting fight!"

.

The marine shook his head and made a request, "If you wish to fight then at least do it away from here, I have noticed that not a single civilian has directly died from your hands so I hope you accept."

Damien just shrugged as he accepted, going around killing civilians wasn't his thing. He then used his second generation of Geppo to go to a nearby island that had been evacuated when Aurora was fighting.

While he was making his way over, a blue screen opened up in Damien's mind.

Damien's and Zephyr's strength levels were the same except that the latter was at the peak of this stage, giving him the advantage.

The 2 men landed in the center of the empty island as they stood 100 meters away from each other.

"Your crew is nothing but a plague to society, I will throw you behind in Impel Down myself!"

*FWWWM*

The Vice Admiral's arms shined black as he rushed forth with great momentum.

Damien did the same.

"RAHAHAHA! I wholeheartedly agree with your words, as for that last part, it remains to be tested!"

They collided.

BOOOOOOOOOM!

With that said, 2 black fists collided as great amounts of energy were released, shaking the island to its core!
