Within the Marine Headquarters' main building sat an extremely muscular man upon the seat in the center of a large room. He looked to be in his early to mid-forties.

He had black spikes of hair standing in the shape of a mohawk.

All the while rocking a 3 upside-down triangle-like beard.

His skin was tanned, he had wide lips and a square jaw.

His muscles were brimming with immense strength.

His desk had a banner on the front.

- FLEET ADMIRAL KONG -

It read in bold texts.

[A/N: Kong image, but with black hair and younger creases]

His eyes were closed as he sat with his arms crossed.

*BANG*

The door flew open as a messenger ran in.

"Kong-Gensui!" the man yelled.

[A/N: Gensui - Fleet Admiral]

"What is it?" he asked while opening one eye.

"It's the pirate you warned us about! Xebec and his crew are wreaking havoc on Freedom Isles in the West Blue!"

"We have lost all contact from our marines stationed there!" he cried out.

"NANI!?!"

Kong's eyes blasted open as he stood up, 10 feet in height.

"That damn Xebec!" he said.

Kong then reached for the snail sitting on the desk and ran some numbers.

"What is it, Kong-san?" a male voice questioned.

"You're in Paradise no? I will alert the G-7 to prepare a fleet for you, lead it to Freedom Isles. That damn Xebec is there." He said with anger.

"Xebec? I'll get to it once I finish my crackers." The voice responded.

Kong's face scrunched up as he yelled out in annoyance,

"GO NOW BRAT!"

A large ship set sail into the sea as a battalion of marine ships followed behind.

6 large ships and 1 warship closing in.

The marine ships were in a straight line, like a tidal wave raging forth, with 1 distinct ship in the center with 3 on each side but a bit further back.

The ship in the middle, the ship leading the assault, had a unique figurehead.

A brown dog with a bone in its mouth.

A muscular man stood on top of that exact figurehead.

He had short black hair, a distinct scar over his left eyebrow with a square jaw.

A wide grin plastered on his face.

He stood at around 9 and a half feet with an open white shirt and marine trousers.

The man kept grinning as his voice stretched across the sea.

"XEBEC!"

"Surrender now you bastard!"

The marine roared from his ship.

"XAHAHA!!!"

"Garp!"

"COME AND FIGHT ME!"

Another voice echoed over the seas as Xebec stood on his ship, ready to fight.

They both grinned and jumped from their ships.

Both flew in the air, jumping on air pockets and quickly nearing each other.

----- At the Same Time -----

(Damien POV)

*Boom* *Boom* *Bang* *Boom*

Hundreds of cannons blasted as just as many cannonballs flew over the sea.

*Fwooooo*

The air screeched as the balls kept blasting forwards with great speed.

.

"Gurarara, this won't do a thing."

.

I watched as Whitebeard pulled his right fist back to his left shoulder and twisted his body to the side.

A white bubble formed around his fist.

"HAAAA"

He roared as he smashed his fist onto the air itself, pointed at the countless balls.

*SHATTER*

.

The air literally cracked and shattered like glass as a destructive white wave rippled through the air.

*Boooom*

All the cannonballs exploded as the tremor blasted them to bits.

While Whitebeard casually dealt with the raining cannonballs, protecting the already broken ship, another man made a move.

*Crack*

The ship cracked as a 17-foot tall ogre jumped into the air and landed on one of the ships nearly 100 meters away.

"WORORORO!"

"Show me what you got, Marines!" Kaido roared as he swung his club down onto the ships, destroying the masts like it was made of straw.

His size compared to the feeble 5'10 marines was quite an amusing view.

While Kaido was blitzing through the right side of the ships, I looked to the left end.

"Shakky-nee, I'll go do some stretching," I smiled at her.

"*Sigh*, go and have fun, just don't push yourself too much." She said with a smirk and I nodded.

*Geppo*

I had already perfected my Geppo as soon as I saw Garp use it. It was just a small tweak to my primitive style one, changing the jumping angle when popping the air pockets in order to not waste any energy from the bounce, now making it nigh flawless.

I popped the air with my feet and landed on the leftmost ship.

*Thud*

I dropped in onto the bow of the ship and saw 200 or so marines gaze at me.

"Surrender kid!"

"We aren't afraid of you!"

"Die, pirate scum!"

.

Each one of them yelled out with courage.

They were a bit stronger than your average marine, though it seems they were elites from the branch outposts, not from Marine HQ.

I chuckled as I cracked my neck and smiled wildly.

"Marines..."

"Do amuse me," I said as I rushed forward.

(3rd POV)

A left fist smashed onto a marine as he was sent flying to the back, knocking 10 others fodders.

Damien's left leg spun around as it snapped at another one's throat, making him blast through the wooden ground.

*Bang*

*Bang*

Bullets flew from their guns yet had no effect.

They simply fell down as soon as they hit his chest, leaving behind not a single scratch.

"You'll need more than just that."

Damien then gathered force onto his hand, utilizing centripetal force, and coated it with a weak layer of haki, and sunk it into a poor soldier's abdomen as he was sent flying back to the sea.

"Weak, too weak." Damien shook his head and crouched down to the floor.

The marines were rattled a bit as they froze to see what he was up to.

"Crush."

A single word came out of his mouth as red lines started appearing around him, creeping forth as if it were a ripple in a pond.

*FWOOO*

Pixelated sounds were heard as the entire ship turned red and seemed to be split into small cubes.

"Wha-"

"Fruit power!"

"Run!"

They cried as the ship blew apart as the countless cubes split apart and sunk to the sea below.

"AHHHHH"

"HELP ME TODD!"

"MAMA!"

The cries stopped as they were submerged into the water and struggled due to the chaotic seas from the battle happening around the area.

"Xahahaha, that brat's ability is quite powerful, no? Garp." Xebec said in his deep voice.

The 2 tall men stood in the air, gazing at the pulverized ship.

"Hmm, another little monster joined you... *SIGH* Kong-san will be pissed," he shook his head and looked at Xebec again.

Garp snorted as he clad his right arm with a dark-purple haki.

He cracked his knuckles by clenching his fist, a casual gesture sent out loud thunderous sounds that echoed even louder than the cries of the unfortunate marines below.

Xebec grinned like a maniac.

[A/N: It was shown he carries a sword in on of the flashback pics but I feel like hand to hand works better for him]

The red-haired man mirrored the marine's actions and clad his own left arm with energy.

Yet his arm was a bit different.

Armament haki was definitely added, however...

another source of energy was present.

His arm was pure black while radiating a deathly dark-purple miasma.

Not like darkness from the Yami-Yami no Mi... but something far more frightening.

*Screeth*

The air around his fist started to howl as it began to wither away as voids in space formed around his arm.

The energy around his arm was literally destroying everything around it to the subatomic level.

Both men rocketed towards each other as their fists collided with extreme force.

.

*BOOOOOM!!!!*

.

A sound of utter devastation resounded the seas as space itself cracked!

.

The clouds above were completely blown apart as the screeching of air escaped the clash and echoed below.

.

Huge amounts of energy were released as the 2 fists pushed each other back, breaking the atmosphere itself.

.

A large 20-meter tall wave of water was sent out as a shockwave directly below the fight, raging forth with unending momentum.

(Damien POV)

I was about to make my way through the second marine ship until I felt 2 extremely powerful presences above.

Xebec and Garp!

Garp had a haki clad fist.

Xebec... his fist was weird.

I could 'hear' the haki, but... some other type of energy was mixed in.

The sound of despair is what I heard from the wind around his arm as it withered away.

.

Both of them jumped forth and clashed.

...

And the world itself broke in their fight.

Xebec infused his despairing Haki while Garp also used his own.

A bubble of black surrounded Xebec as another formed around Garp.

*FWOOOO*

*BOOOOM*

The 2 men were fighting in 2 ways. One with physical and brute force, while the other fight was between their minds.

Garp didn't use Conqueror's Haki as he never had it, though he used something else.

His body started to glow a warm green, his own fighting spirit was being released as it fought back Xebec's Haki.

[A/N: Like Zoro's Ashura but 10x more powerful (The one from Ennies Lobby)]

The sky split and a huge wave of water was sent out in all directions under their exchange.

"OYOYOYE!"

I yelled out as I saw a giant wave of water coming from below their fight.

The water pushed the remaining 3 marine ships far back, leaving them in cracks and rubble.

*THUD*

Both I and Kaido landed on our ship and saw the mess in front of us.

Whitebeard took care of the wave but it didn't hide the simple impact between the captain and the Vice Admiral

..

a giant crater in the sea!

There was no water below them within a 70-meter radius!

The seabed was visible from afar!

It created a strong water current that caused a vacuum, pulling the other ships in with the endless surges of water.

A single punch from them both could easily destroy a small island at this level.

Yet they didn't even use their haki to its fullest...

.

"WORORORO!"

"Senchou and Garp, both are so powerful! I want to join their battle so bad!" Kaido laughed out loud.

"Kaido-chan, you will die immediately if you try to interfere," Shakky warned him.

"Gurarara, Garp's fist, and Xebec's fruit power... both can determine the fate of an island." Whitebeard laughed.

'You're one to talk, Mr. Tremor Human.' I said in my head.

"Bwahahaha! Xebec, your Death power's will bend with my fist! You should surrender before I use my other arm." Garp bellowed out as he stood with not a single scratch.

"XAHAHAHA! Garp, I'll kill you one day but right now my ship will break if we continue are dance any further." Xebec grinned.

He then looked at the surviving marines and pointed out his left hand in their direction.

"Touch of Death."

.

He said as a black deathly blast of energy raged out of his hand.

"Tch."

Garp geppo-ed over to the ship, he knew that though he could hold back Xebec till reinforcements arrived, even he would be corned by Whitebeard joining in.

Protecting the remaining marines would be the best course of action.

----- On the Ship -----

"Death powers? Does the captain have a devil fruit?" I asked out loud, gazing at Xebec as he attacked the marine ships.

"That's right Damien-chan. Taichou ate the paramecia type - 'Death Death Fruit'. Making him a Death Human." Shakky said. "With such a power he can produce energy of death that can literally wither away all forms of life. Not even those with high armament can block it."

"The ones who can actually stand in Taichou's way can be counted on one's hand,"

"Marine Vice-Admiral: Garp the Fist."

.

"Marine Vice-Admiral: Black-Arm Zephyr."

.

"Marine Admiral: Sengoku the Buddha."

.

"Marine Admiral: "Basara the Mountain".

.

"Marine Fleet Admiral: "Strange Beast Kong."

.

She listed them out one by one.

.

'I recognized most of them, Garp and Sengoku, obviously. Kong, I recall seeing him once when Sengoku gave his resignation.'

'Zephyr from the movie. But this 'Basara' guy... I guess he was the other admiral around this era eh? Interesting.'

While thinking over the names I heard a thud as Xebec lands on the ship.

*Thud*

"Ahhh, I really want to fight Garp more... but this damn ship will break apart!!" He yelled out in annoyance.

"Tch. Get ready, we're sailing to the Grand Line." He said as he grabbed a gourd of saké.

Author's Corner:

They didn't use Ryou because it would destroy both their sides. Xebec's ship would have been ripped apart and Garp's marines were only Branch Elites, not from the HQ so they didn't use it.

Some say Xebec had Yami Yami no Mi but ehh, darkness fruit is cool and all but I am the boss here.

More explanation of the rest of the crew next chapter.
