One Piece: Gambling to The Top

Chapter 139 - 139

After cashing Bellamy, Josh went to the nearest cafeteria, wanting to buy a coffee for himself before he heads back with his girls. While ordering his coffee, Josh thought about the rewards he had gotten from beating Enel. He had gotten one Legend Rank Mystery Box, and he got 500 points. Josh sat by one table, thinking it won't harm him if the girls waited for extra ten minutes.

Opening the system, Josh decided to start with the Legend Rank Reward.

[+ The strengthen Sushi (Legend)]

(Increases the body's strength by 100 tons)

If Josh eats this now, he would have the power to lift 200 tons, which should put him on the lead of the powerhouses.

Not waiting for any plot twist, Josh opened his mouth and ate the Sushi. He didn't feel strange, however, he knew that he was defiantly stronger. 200 tons strength should put him on a level with strong Vice Admirals. It wasn't something worth mentioning if you know that a giant pirate can throw a ten thousand ton with all of his might. But considering that Josh's Zoan's boosts his strength 6.3 times, it would be a game-changer. No… there should be more.

Each time Josh activate an attribute of his demonic power, the boost he gets would be stronger.

Josh decided to use his points while he is resting here, before going back.

Added what he had gained from Enel to his original points, plus the 50 million he got from Bellamy, Josh would have 600 points, which is enough to get a legend rank item.

However, Josh is short a bit of cash, since he always spends what he's. But thinking that he has gold now, Josh decided to get Legend Rank. It's his hard-earned money, and so, he can keep the rewards for himself.

[+ The Devil's Great Sword (Legend)]

(A very strong heavy sword. It's only mentioned in the legend, and it can use the Devil's powers, providing it gets to eat one. Or, stabbing a Devil Fruit user in the heart.)

Happy with what he got, Josh stood up and almost spat his coffee, which attracted the attention of the people.

Josh immediately checked his storage, to see the weapon he had just won.

It was a sword, with a black grip, and the blade was long and thick. On the top of it, there was a shape of a Devil with two horns. If Josh had to assume the length of the sword, it should be a little shorter than his height.

'I need to grow up… a bit. That sword is large.'

Usually, he is used to using the Katana style mixed with Kung Fu. Josh, however, never used a Great Sword. Nevertheless, as a grandmaster in swordsmanship, he can always adapt to new styles, giving his swordsmanship level and mastery in martial arts and talents.

Josh summoned his sword and lifted it. Although the people seemed to be wary of him, Josh didn't seem to care about them. He played with the Greatsword, and he put it on his shoulder. He found that this is the right way to hold it. Josh then placed it on his back, next to his obsidian scimitar.

'It's heavy I admit. It should be around a few tons.' Josh could tell that platform under his legs was struggling to keep up with his weight. It was nothing to Josh, though. Josh then held the coffee and took another sip, before sitting down.

As the sword vanished, Josh turned his head, noticing that the cafe isn't as full as when he had entered. People were leaving as quickly as they can.

He didn't care, and ordered some milk…

Josh half-closed his eyes and started sipping. Although he should go back, he had a feeling that something should happen.

As he was walking, a blond masked tall woman with huge tits walked beside him. She let her hand slip on the table, letting the coffee cup fall toward him. Josh pushed himself along the chair, lifted his foot, and used it to balance the coffee before throwing it up, making it land on the table.

Josh stared at the woman. The huge tits were very similar.

She muttered one word, in a very low tone. "Don't drink the milk. And better for you, leave through the back door."

She then vanished in thin air.

He has to admit. She was very fast, on a higher level than CP9 top agents.

Josh closed his eyes, took a deep breath, and used his Haki.

He tried to know what happens in the future.

After seeing the future, the first thing he did was to check on the outside. The girls seemed to be fine. However, the people around the town were standing on the side, making way for someone, who is near this very tavern.

"Guess it's too late." Josh had a deep frown on his face as he took another sip from the coffee.

Soon, the waitress came back with a cup of milk. Josh stared at it. The blond woman had told him not to drink. Something must be in it.

"What an ordeal."

Well, there is nothing wrong with not drinking the milk. However, drinking may seem wrong. Josh activated the future vision and decided to see what may happen once he drinks it. There was nothing different from the taste of usual milk. Also, he will not feel anything. Could it mean it's a tasteless poison?

Sighing, Josh decided to turn his head to the entrance.

"And here they are. To what do I owe the pleasure?"

Josh muttered as he looked at the waitress who stared at the entrance.

Her facial expressions froze when she saw how was coming.

Outside, The people who were standing on the side of the road were holding their breath, and Josh could see this through the window.

"Move from the way." Said the man to the waitress. "You know what, you are pretty, stand on the line. I'll take you later as a backup."

The woman took a step to the side and almost collapsed.

A man entered through the door. He was fat and had very weird black hair. His head was wrapped in a bubble, and he wore an ugly white uniform.

Around him, there was a cocky aura as he was sitting on the top of a large man, who was crawling with a shameful expression on his face.

Upon seeing him entering, Josh had one idea.

'The famous Ugly Bastard.' Josh thought as he blinked twice. 'The one who taught me always read the tags, or you may pay a heavy price.'

Once Josh was done with this thought, the ugly bastard gave him a glance with the side of his eyes. Few black silhouettes entered the bar, very fast that even a trained person can't see them.

Josh put the coffee back on the table and stared at the cocky guy.
