Never Judge

Chapter 689 - 689

Camilla frowned as she looked at Lucius and her brother.

"What's bothering you babe?" Lucius asked as squeezed her hand.

"Do you think Cedric could be retaliating much harder because of me?" Camilla asked in a somewhat fragile tone.

"Duh, yes." Louisse suddenly said in a loud voice as she joined in on the conversation. "See she's acting all fragile, is this really the woman you want, Lucius?" She asked her brother as she glared at Camilla.

"She's right, it probably was made worse by the fact that you two are dating." Benedict said, agreeing with Louisse.

"What? You're on my side?" Louisse asked in surprise. "You're her brother, you should be on her side." Louisse pointed out as she tried to figure out Benedict's odd behavior.

"Good." Camilla said with a grin.

"Wait? What?" Louisse said as she looked at Camilla, now more curious than ever about the woman her older brother was dating.

"I agree with Louisse, what?" Lucius asked as he looked at his girlfriend. "I love you babe, but you are being very confusing right now."

"You don't see it?" Benedict asked with a laugh as he leaned back in his seat and took a sip from his wine. "I don't think you are smart enough for my sister." Benedict said in a mocking tone.

"Benedict, stop it." Camilla said, scolding her brother. "Don't stoop to her level." She said, emphasizing the word her as she glanced at Louisse.

"Fine." Benedict told his sister with a laugh as he allowed her to explain.

"There are very few things that can tick off Cedric Reyes." Camilla explained with a smile. "You know he is mad when he goes overboard, like he probably has tonight."

"Don't all men that are born rich like to over exert their power?" Louisse asked as Benedict offered to refill her glass.

"Most, yes." Camilla said with a nod. "But that's what makes Cedric different from all of them. He has full control of his emotions and he almost always thinks logically."

"So when doesn't he think logically?" Lucius asked her.

"When it comes to his family and his friends." Benedict said, answering for his sister. "And Camilla, falls under the friends part. One of his oldest friends betrayed him, so he is understandably furious now."

"He betrayed us first when he heartlessly murdered our brother." Camilla said in an angry tone, surprising even Lucius.

"Calm down babe, I know you are mad. We all are." Lucius said as kissed her cheeks gently.

Camilla took a deep breath as she considered her next words carefully. She knew this would be crucial in leading Lucius and Louisse on.

"I want Cedric Reyes dead." Camilla told Lucius in a firm tone. "No, I want him to lose everything he loves, everything he holds dear. I want his name dragged through the mud!"

"Camilla, our time will come." Benedict told her in a calmer tone. "You need to trust in our plans."

"What plans?" Camilla asked. "All we do is make small moves, nothing wild, nothing bad enough to hurt someone like Cedric."

"We cannot just retaliate, you know that." Benedict reminded his sister, quickly catching on in the act she was portraying. "We do not have the influence or the strength to take the Reyes Group on a head on battle, we need to be smart."

"I'm tired of just waiting, Benedict." Camilla hissed. "How long will it take?" She complained.

"As long as it takes to make sure he can't get back up." Benedict said, as if he was reminding his sister of a plan they had discussed.

"Camilla." Lucius said in a loving tone as he held her close to him. "I will help you get justice for your brother no matter what. I also want to see Cedric Reyes and all his friends fall. They took my family from me and for that they will pay."

"Fine, she isn't some flower that is just meant to be a display." Louisse said with a grin as she observed Camilla. "You might actually be the best thing that has happened to my brother. Someone just as passionate as him."

Camilla smiled and nodded her thanks to Louisse.

"Babe, my sister is here to help." Lucius said as he tried to reassure Camilla that everything she wanted would happen. "Who do you think orchestrated this whole event?" Lucius said with a sly grin.

"Nice one Louisse." Benedict said as he nodded approvingly at the woman's plan. "Cedric and his people did not see this one coming." Benedict said with a chuckle.

"I don't think he would have ever expected us to attack him in such a public manner." Louisse said with a shrug.

"And Camilla arriving with me tonight just made things a hundred times worse for him." Lucious said with a laugh as he kissed Camilla.

"Babe, you are amazing." Lucius said as he kissed her passionately on the lips. Camilla was forced to kiss back in order to keep her cover intact.

"Sir." The staff member from earlier said as he returned with a few other men behind him.

Lucius was in a good mood since he knew his plan had worked to an extent. Cedric was experiencing untold damage to his image because of both his sister's plan and his girlfriend arriving with him.

Nothing could ruin his mood now, not even if Cedric or any of the Chan siblings walked into the bar at that moment, he would still be as happy as he was.

"What is it?" Benedict said, asking for Lucius who still had his lips on Camilla.

"We found out what the Reyes Group has been up to." The man announced as Camilla and Lucius' lips separated from their passionate make out session.

"What crazy idea did Cedric Reyes come up with this time?" Lucius asked with a laugh.

"He is threatening to cut off all his deals with the companies that came here." The man told Lucius and his group.

"So let him cut it off, we can invest in them instead. They are the major players in their industries. We have nothing to fear." Lucius said in a confident tone.

"Sir, there is one problem." The man said as he hesitated.

"You better talk or it will be worse for you." Louisse warned as she looked at the man.

"If they break the contract, the Reyes Group will own 50% of all of their assets and will have rights to buy the remaining 50%." The man said in a shaky voice as he broke the bad news to Lucius.

"What the fuck? How stupid are these people? Why would they sign a contract like that?" Benedict asked as he heard the news.

"How did we miss out on this?" Lucius asked as he turned to his sister. She was the one behind this plan, she was the one that had missed out on this fact.

"I- I- I don't know." Louisse said in a shaky voice as she began to panic.

She was no stranger to her brother's temper, and she knew that he would not hesitate to punish her fairly just because they were siblings.

Lucius Ting was never a nice man, not even to those who loved him and those whom he loved back.
