Never Judge

Chapter 686 - 686

Lucius had rented out an entire bar in the capitol's entertainment district, he had pulled out all of the stops. He hired a world class DJ, who he had to fly in, he ordered some of the most expensive beverages, mostly imported from all over the world, and he had hired high class prostitutes that catered to his guests' every need and want.

When Lucius' car pulled up to the front entrance, Camilla took a deep breath as she heard the music from inside.

Today was the first time that Camilla would be publicly stepping out with Lucius, their relationship had been a secret so far.

Camilla was forced to agree to making their relationship public when Lucius had begged her for a way to prove her love for him.

In all honesty, Camilla had no feelings for Lucius, as a matter of fact kissing the guy made her want to throw up. It wasn't because he wasn't good looking, Lucius was very attractive, but it was his attitude that disgusted her.

Over the past month she had seen how horribly he treated people and how little compassion he had for others.

"I bet you've seen worse working for Cedric Reyes." Lucius would tell her whenever he did something vile or something immoral. For some reason he immediately assumed that Cedric was a horrible person.

Camilla would often simply agree not wanting to get into a fight with him, but she knew that to sell the relationship they would need to fight at some point.

She had carefully selected the things they would disagree on, one being making their relationship public and the second being Adrianna.

Lucius Ting hated Adrianna just as much as he hated Cedric, he didn't care if the woman was guilty or innocent, all he cared about was that she was married to Cedric Reyes. That fact alone was enough to condemn her in his eyes.

They had gotten into enough arguments over the topic that Lucius had given up trying to talk about it.

"Relax." Lucius whispered into her ear as he held her firmly by her shoulders.

Camilla wanted to pull away as soon as she felt his hands on her bare skin. She was wearing a blue off-shoulder dress that fit her form perfectly, emphasizing all the right curves.

"I'm just worried." Camilla said as she took a deep breath.

"Here, I have a gift for you, to celebrate our relationship." Lucius said in a sweet tone that made Camilla want to vomit.

Lucius proceeded to place a necklace on her, it was a simple diamond necklace that fit her style perfectly. Camilla had to hand it to the guy, he really thought about what she would like and what she would wear.

"Thank you, it's gorgeous." Camilla said as she touched the diamond pendant.

"I won it at an auction." Lucius said as he kissed her on the cheek.

"I love it." Camilla said in fake excitement.

"There is someone I want you to meet later, I'm very excited to introduce you to her." Lucius told Camilla.

"Who is it?" Camilla asked.

"It's a surprise." Lucius said with a smile. "For now, I think you should focus on making it to the door." He teased her.

"Are there any paparazzi?" Camilla asked.

"Of course, they are all here." Lucius said with a grin. "The only ones that I didn't invite were those affiliated with Abad News Network." Lucius said in a bitter tone.

"They could have been worth inviting." Camilla said as she thought of what implications it would have had if the bigger news agencies were present.

"Babe, if I had invited them, then Cedric would have known, it's better this way." Lucius said with a nod. "I want everyone to see how I have not only snagged his most prized Vice President, but most of the deals he had closed recently as well."

"Do you think he knows by now?" Camilla asked as she glanced at the watch on Lucius' wrist.

"He probably found out thirty minutes ago, his people are quite efficient." Lucius said. "But then again, by that time it would be too late to get anyone back." Lucius said as he flashed Camilla a smile.

"Okay, I'm ready." Camilla said as she took another deep breath and relaxed. She hoped and prayed that when they stepped into that bar it would be empty.

"I'll come around and open the door for you." Lucius told Camilla as he stepped out of the car to a barrage of flashes.

Camilla watched from the inside as he smiled and waved at the paparazzi, winking, signaling that he had an even bigger surprise in store for them.

Lucius quickly and gracefully opened the door offering his hand for Camilla to take.

Camilla hesitated for a bit, questioning how much she was really willing to risk to help Cedric.

She owed him and the people around him her life, hers and her brother's lives. Cedric had treated her like a sister and she had sworn to remain loyal to the Reyes family for the rest of her life.

On top of that, she wasn't just an employee of the Reyes Group, unknown to the public was the fact that she, Ian, and Marco had some shares in multiple subsidiaries of the Reyes Group.

Cedric had not only guaranteed her life and her future, but her had also guaranteed the future of her children and their children after.

Camilla knew she was willing to risk her life and her image just for Cedric and his family.

"Babe?" Lucius asked as he offered his hand to Camilla.

Camilla knew he was being extra patient and considering seeing as this was a big step for her.

She also knew that Lucius had a lot to gain if she stepped out of that door and walked into the bar with him.

"A moment." Camilla said as she took a deep breath and took his hand.

There was no turning back from this now, this was it.

To the public she would become the great traitor to the Reyes Group, she would have to wear it proudly and see all of this through until Cedric could finally get rid of Lucius.
