Never Judge

Chapter 675 - 675

"I'm sorry to tell you all of you this, but my friend said you all have to go." Eric said with a fake frown. In all honesty he was more than happy to see them go.

It seemed that his international fans were crazier than his local ones. At least his local ones respected it when he needed time to be alone.

"Who is that man?" Eric heard one of his fans grumble, making him laugh. "What right does he have to tell our Eric to refuse us?"

Eric could see that Cedric's bodyguards were tempted to answer, but they were all highly trained and kept their stone cold expressions.

"I'll explain." Eric said, knowing that the bodyguards heard him.

"That man that wanted you gone, he isn't popular here." Eric said with a shrug. "But I guess in a way he is my boss' boss."

Eric was not exactly lying, one of the investors in Lights Entertainment had been the Reyes Group, and among the five princes, everyone knew that Cedric was the leader.

"What?" The fan who was complaining asked in shock.

"That man is from, no, he is the head of the richest family in my country." Eric explained. "As a matter of fact I am here because I hitched a ride with him." Eric said with a laugh, dumbfounding his fans.

"He is a good friend and we have known each other for a long time, but he is still my boss." He added.

"Then we should be -" Another fan began to say before Eric cut her off.

"If there are any social climbers out there, you should have sucked up to him." Eric said as he laughed at his fans' confused expressions. "But then, Mr. Reyes is madly in love with his wife, the woman you just insulted."

Eric saw as a look of panic crossed the eyes of some of his fans, he knew that even here you didn't cross people like Cedric.

"Eric, don't scare them." Katerina said in a cold tone as she joined him. "They are your fans after all."

"Katerina, I'm just telling them what they didn't know." Eric explained to his girlfriend who was smiling quite suspiciously at him.

"Please don't worry about Adrianna and Cedric being offended." Katerina said as she addressed Eric's fans. "Yes, Cedric is very protective of his pregnant wife, but I think he will let you all go if you just leave." Katerina told them.

Some stayed glued to their spots, others turned and left. Many of them knew who Katerina was, they did not miss out on the rumors about her and Eric in the past.

"If I were you guys, I'd listen to her." A bodyguard, who Eric recognized as the one in charge on this trip, said with a chuckle. "She is Mr. Reyes and Mr. Chan's lawyer. If she says something I would follow, I guarantee that none of you would want to be on the receiving end of whatever she does."

Katerina laughed at the bodyguard's words and nodded.

The girls quickly scrambled and left the restaurant. When the last fan had exited, Eric could finally breathe.

"I'll speak to the manager and pay for the lost sales. I need to apologize for the commotion I had caused." Eric said with a frown as he spoke to Katerina.

"Ok, do what you want to do." Karaterina said flatly.

"Kat, we need to talk about this." Eric said as he reached and grabbed her by the wrist.

"Eric, there is nothing to talk about." Katerina said with a stoic look on her face. "Let me go Eric, I want to finish my lunch in peace."

"Katerina, this is clearly bothering you." Eric said with a sigh as he loosened his grip.

"I will tell you when it bothers me, Eric." Katerina told him in an annoyed tone as she pulled her hand away from him. "Why do you have to think that something is always bothering me, I'm not an ordinary woman."

"I know you're not, you're different, you're better, I've never said otherwise." Eric said as he tried to coax his girlfriend. "You can't keep pretending that these things don't bother you Katerina." Eric pleaded.

"Not now, Eric." Katerina said in an annoyed tone. "Let's talk about this later."

"Alright, later." Eric said with a nod as she turned and left.

Eric was not happy at how Katerina was acting, she was being extremely confusing, telling him that it was fine when his fans clearly bothered her.

For Katerina, Eric was willing to throw all of his fans to hell just as long as he could be with her and that she wouldn't leave.

They had both worked too hard for too long to let their relationship collapse just because of his crazed fans.

Eric loved that she was strong and that she was trying to let him have his space and his career, but he hated that she had to lie to him about how she felt. He was hoping that she would be more honest about how she felt.

He shook his head and walked over to a waiter, asking to see the manager. At first the waiter looked worried, he tried to ask Eric if the staff had done anything wrong.

It took Eric a while to convince the waiter that he wasn't there to complain, that in fact he was there to apologize.

At first, the manager refused Eric's offer of compensation, but eventually he was forced to give in to the actor. Accepting what Eric offered, both in cash and in kind. Eric was still a businessman at heart and he knew how his fans could ruin a place's reputation.

When he finally finished dealing with the manager and returned to the table where his friends were eating, Eric was shocked to find his girlfriend missing from the table.

"Where is she?" Eric asked his sister as he cocked his head to the side, threatening her to lie.

"Relax, brother." Nicole said, unfazed by Eric's threatening tone. "She went up to your room to rest. She asked me to tell you to follow."

"Thanks Nic." Eric said with a smile as he walked over and hugged his sister.

He quickly rushed out of the restaurant and up to the room he and Katerina shared.
