Never Judge

Chapter 637 - 637

Emilio was very much excited about seeing all of his uncles and aunts as well as the only friend he had who was his age, Tristan. He quickly ate his food and even went as far as taking his plate to the sink, which surprised Cedric.

"Yeah, we've been teaching him to do that." Adrianna said with a smile. "I don't want our kid growing up to be some spoiled nth generation heir."

"He never will Adrianna, we will make sure of that." Cedric said with a smile as a maid took away Cedric's plate after checking if he was done with his meal.

"Why didn't daddy take his plate to the sink too?" Emilio complained as he saw the maid clearing Cedric's area.

"It's because we don't want your dad messing up the kitchen." The maid replied jokingly to Emilio. "Plus, I heard your dad even did the dishes before you were even born." The maid said as she gently patted Emilio's head.

"Thanks Abby." Adrianna told the maid as she smiled. The maid, Abby smiled back as she continued to clear the table.

"Wow, daddy used to do chores?" Emilio asked, making Cedric laugh. He had planned to make his son help around the house eventually. Cedric was glad the Emilio was showing no signs of acting like a spoiled child, despite his family giving him everything he could ever ask for.

"Your daddy used to be incredibly lazy." Emilio Reyes III said as he entered the dining room and plucked up his grandson.

"Dad, watch your back." Cedric scolded.

"I'm fine Cedric, I'm not that old." He said as he rolled his eyes at his son.

"Alright dad, just be careful." Cedric warned as he watched his father play happily with his son.

"So Yoyo, are you excited for your first day of school?" Emilio Reyes III asked his grandson as he sat down by the dining table with the child on his lap.

"Yes grandpa." Yoyo said as he nodded vigorously, making Emilio Reyes III laugh.

"Remember, you are going on a secret mission." Emilio told his grandson as the little boy's expression turned serious at his words.

"Yes grandpa. I am Yoyo Clarin." Yoyo said proudly as he looked at his father for his approval.

Cedric smiled and nodded his head.

"And what is the name of your dad?" Emilio asked his grandson.

"Leon." Yoyo said with full confidence.

"Very good, I knew my grandson was a genius." Emilio said with a smile as he patted Yoyo on the head.

"Tristan!" Yoyo shouted as he saw the Chans and Lims arrive at the same time.

He quickly jumped off of his grandfather's lap and ran over to his best friend.

Cedric laughed as his son tackled the little boy that could barely walk, making the girls panic and check if either boy had an injury.

"Ugh, you men are so useless." Nicole complained as she helped Tristan up on his feet.

As soon as he was back up Tristan and Yoyo ran away to the living room, each with a nanny chasing after them.

"It was quite funny seeing them so excited to see each other." Ian said with a laugh as he pulled Nicole into his arms in an attempt to placate her anger.

"Those two really need to have some sort of social interaction with other kids." Migule said as he joined them.

He had arrived with his wife, Veronica, and their newly adopted son Dominic.

"It will be Dominic's first day in school too?" Cedric asked as he smiled at the shy little boy.

Miguel nodded as he urged Dominic out from behind his legs.

"We are still trying to make sure that no one will take him from us, but we have already changed his name to Dominic Abad-Chan." Veronica explained with a smile.

"Dominic, do you think you can look after your cousin Tristan and Yoyo?" Nicole asked the child with a smile.

"Yes! I can take care of them." Dominic said in a shy voice.

"Go play with them too, son." Miguel said with a smile as he urged Dominic to follow the two boys to the living room.

Dominic did as Miguel and Nicole asked and went over after the boys.

"Does he call you mom and dad yet?" Adrianna asked as she smiled at Veronica and Miguel.

"He does, sometimes." Veronica said in an excited tone. "I mean it has only been a few weeks and I'm sure he has gone through so much that the hesitation is just normal."

"I'm honestly worried about how he will do in the new school." Miguel said in a frown. "He hasn't exactly had the best experience when it comes to schools, add to that the fact that he will be older than his classmates. I'm afraid he will get bullied."

"He'll be using your surname, right?" Emilio Reyes asked.

"Yes, uncle. But everyone knows I don't have a son, and Chan isn't a rare surname." Miguel said with a shrug.

"It may be enough to make sure people are careful around him." Emilio Reyes said with a smile. "No one announced that Cedric was my son and people just assumed."

"It is true, a Chan in one of the most expensive schools in the country is enough for them to watch out." Cedric said as he nodded in agreement.

"Miguel, Ian, Eric, do you mind if I have a word with you in my office while we wait for the other?" Cedric asked.

The men looked at each other and nodded.

When they got to Cedric's office, Ian made sure that the door was securely closed behind them. The room was sound proof so Cedric wasn't worried about his father eavesdropping.

"I have news, please just tell Nicole. I didn't want dad to suspect anything. I hope she doesn't get offended." Cedric said as he sat behind his desk.

"She'll understand." Eric said with a nod as he sat on the couch.

"We found the nurse, and we might have to fly to Singapore soon to meet him." Cedric announced catching Eric and Miguel by surprise.
