Never Judge

Chapter 524 - 524

"Are you going to save my sister?" Benedict asked in a loud voice.

He was currently alone in a cell, sitting on the bed as Cedric watched him from the main office in the Security Building.

"I said, Are you going to save my sister?!" Benedict shouted, a little bit angrier this time. "I know how places like these work, I know someone is always watching. So tell me, will you save her?"

"Is everything ready?" Cedric asked as he noticed Merrick entering the office.

"Yes sir, we are ready to move at your orders." Merrick told him with a nod.

"Cedric, I still feel like we are going into this blindly." Miguel said as he looked over the schematics of Aiden's property. "There are still a lot of uncertain points here. Plus the plan of taking Aiden on while the convoy is moving, it feels like a risk."

"What about it feels like a risk to you Miguel?" Cedric asked his friend.

"I just feel like they will be more alert when they are on the road versus when they are not." Miguel said with a shrug. "I know you would be."

Cedric drummed his fingers on the table, the thought had crossed his mind, but when no one raised any concerns he thought he was just overthinking.

"What do you suggest?" Cedric asked Miguel. "If anyone has a better idea, speak now."

Cedric looked around both to his friends and to his men, he knew they were all smart, one of them would probably have a better idea than him.

"Attack early." Alexi suddenly said as he sat up straight. "Attack before they could even start moving, and use him." Alexi said pointing at the screen showing Benedict mumbling.

"Are you serious Alexi?" Ray asked in a surprised tone. "We cannot trust Aiden's brother, the risk is just too high."

"You don't think I've considered that?" Alexi asked Ray with a frown. "One thing I've noticed with Aiden and Benedict, is that they both would do anything for their missing sister. I think Benedict will tell us everything just to save Camilla."

"I still don't trust him." Ray said as he glared at the man on the screen.

"Then use one of Natalia's serums." Ian suggested.

"Can't." Alexi said, shaking his head. "Those serums were spoken for, it's all with the government now."

"Can't she make new ones?" Cedric asked.

"No, they aren't like some meal you can just cook." Alexi said with a laugh. "It takes her months just to develop one batch, add to that the scarcity of all the chemicals she needs, it would be impossible to get one done in time."

Cedric sighed and considered their options for a moment, it was either trust Benedict or go ahead with their risky plan.

He sighed as he looked at the people waiting for his decision.

"If I didn't have the same gut feeling as Miguel I would have called Alexi crazy." Cedric finally said. "Let's speak to Benedict again, we need to find out everything about that house's layout and about Aiden's habits."

"Yes!" Alexi said, celebrating his small win.

"Merrick, have someone accompany us to Benedict's cell, in the meantime, I want you to start sending men to Katerina's house." Cedric ordered Merrick.

"Katerina, we need you and Eric to pretend to go home so that my men can appear to be part of your security team." Cedric explained.

"Won't that seem suspicious?" Katerina asked. "I'll be going home with a lot more men than I left with?"

"They will simply discount that as your family being paranoid. It shouldn't be an issue." Cedric said with a shrug. "It will only be half of the team. The other half will be arriving with me. I'll tell Aiden through Camilla that I am passing by your place first. Aiden will think that it will be the perfect opportunity to leave while I am at your place."

"If you tell him to soon they will start to move before we can make a move." Alexi said as he thought of the situation.

"I'll message him late enough so that by the time our men enter the house his men are doing their last minute businesses before leaving." Cedric said with a nod.

"Alright." Katerina told Cedric, agreeing to his plan.

"How long do you need?" Katerina asked Merrick.

"My team should be ready to go in ten minutes." Merrick informed Katerina.

"Alright. I'll go say bye to the girls." Katerina said with a nod. "Are you coming Eric?" She said to her boyfriend.

"Of course." Eric said as he chased her and wrapped an arm around her waist.

"We'll see you guys later!" Katerina called out to the others.

"Sir, I will take you to the cells now." A member of Cedric's security team said.

Cedric simply nodded and followed the man, they were led to one of the underground levels of the building. On each side there were at least two cells every few meters, Cedric had given Leon free reign in designing this building.

"Sir, we are keeping him at the end of the hall." The man said as they continued to walk.

Each cell had a high tech door and a one way mirror that allowed the security team to keep an eye on the prisoners inside. At the moment Cedric's men not only kept Benedict here, but some of Aiden's men that they had captured during the attack.

The men inside the cells remained unaware as Cedric and his friends passed.

"You know, if we could rid the police of corruption, maybe you could allow them to copy your little dungeon here." Alexi teased Cedric.

"Maybe, someday." Cedric said with a shrug.

"Sir." The security personnel said as he pointed towards the cell at the end of the hall.

Inside Cedric could see Benedict pacing. He was still shouting at thin air, hoping that Cedric or anyone of importance would hear him.

Cedric couldn't help but feel bad for the man. He had faked his death to escape his brother and find his sister, only to discover that Aiden had kidnapped Camilla.

If Benedict truly loved his sister, it must have been tearing him up inside by now.

"I'll speak to him, alone." Cedric said as he entered the cell.
