Never Judge

Chapter 208 - 208

When Adrianna woke up the other girls were no longer in her room. She felt better and thought she was being unfair to Cedric, after all it wasn't his fault that women were attracted to his wealth.

Adrianna was about to get out of bed when Cedric burst in the door with a bouquet of roses and a maid carrying in a breakfast table with Adrianna's favorite food.

"Cedric." Adrianna groaned as Cedric placed the flowers in a vase and had the maid place the table in front of her.

"I'm sorry Adri. I should consider your feelings more." Cedric said in a calm and soothing tone. He hoped that she would be moved by his gesture.

Cedric saw Adrianna frown and he was immediately worried. "Did I do something wrong again?" Cedric helplessly asked.

"No, no. It's me Cedric." Adrianna said with a sigh. "I don't have any right to get mad at you about any of this. It's kind of my fault anyway."

"Adri, I should have been more proactive." Cedric began to say.

"Cedric, no. You keep adjusting for me, and the only reason someone like Elaine Moyra has the chance to parade around pretending to be the wife of the Reyes Heir is because of my stubborn goals." Adrianna said cutting her husband off.

"So does this mean, you'll agree that I can reveal my identity?" Cedric asked with hope in his eyes.

"No. Not yet. But I won't blame you for this and I promise I will fix things." Adrianna said, Cedric laughed at the determination his wife had. He just wished she wasn't so stubborn about not telling people about his true identity.

Cedric joined her in bed and kissed her passionately. "You're so gorgeous. I can't wait to see our daughter who will just be as beautiful as you." He placed aside the breakfast and continued to kiss her, while still remembering to be gentle since he was pregnant.

Cedric watched as Adrianna prepared herself for work. After having a little fun in bed she scolded him and prepared for work, unlike him she couldn't bum around in the morning. She had several plans, and Elaine Moyra was on the agenda.

"Do you really have to go? You should rest. You're very pregnant." Cedric said as he hugged her from behind.

"Stop it." Adrianna said as she marched out of the room. Cedric watched and grinned, of course he knew what she was up to, and he planned to witness it first hand.

At lunch, Ian reminded Cedric about Adrianna's plan, so Cedric dropped everything and left his office.

"Where's my sister?" Cedric askd Ian and Camilla as they walked across the hall.

"She went ahead sir. They don't know that you know." Camilla reported.

Cedric simply nodded and went down to the parking lot. Before going down Cedric had changed his clothes to what he would normally wear, before arriving at their destination, Cedric, Camilla, and Ian were dropped off in an area where they could switch from the car to a cab.

When they got to the coffee shop where Elaine and her friends would be. They sat in a secluded area of the shop, somewhere Adrianna wouldn't be able to see when she arrived.

After a few minutes Elaine and her group of followers entered the shop. She sat in the center wearing the necklace purchased from Cedric by her father. She touched it every so often to remind people of who they thought she was. Cedric had to hand it to her, she was cunning.

The Moyra's never flat out said that she was married to the Reyes Heir, they just let people believe who they thought she was and they never corrected them. It wasn't a direct lie, but it was still an offense towards the Reyes Clan.

Elaine was drinking her coffee when she turned pale, she spotted Camilla from where she was seated. She knew that if it reached the Reyes Heir's ears that she was acting this way, her whole family would disappear. Everyone had heard about how cruel and unforgiving the Reyes Heir actually was.

She tried to get up and walk towards Camilla, unfortunately for her Adrianna arrived, and she was not alone.

"You should really stop pretending to be someone that you are not." Adrianna said as she arrived with the sisters.

An audible gasp was heard as people reacted to the scene. Who was Adrianna Hernandez - Reyes to bring the sisters along.

Cedric grinned as he watched the scene unfold, he was actually surprised that Adrianna had allowed the sisters to intervene. It seemed his wife was slowly accepting the fact that she had very powerful friends that were more than willing to help her.

"How dare you?" One girl who followed Elaine said as she glared at Adrianna. It seemed she didn't care that the daughters from powerful families were standing behind Adrianna. She must have assumed that with Elaine's support and her supposed husband's support she would be untouchable, she might even be rewarded. Unfortunately for her, she couldn't be more mistaken.

"Are you really that brave to protect someone who is pretending to be who she isn't?" Adrianna asked as she crossed her arms over her chest.

"You're just a jealous mistress!" The girl accused.

Adrianna walked up to Elaine as Mia stood between the girl and her. The girl was shocked at how strong the office assistant was and she couldn't retaliate. Adrianna threw the documents on the table in front of Elaine and her followers.

"That necklace was sold by the Reyes Heir right after the auction. These documents are from his personal assistant, Camilla. You are not his wife and you're fooling all these people." Adrianna said as she placed a hand on her waist.

Cedric who was watching from behind couldn't help but grin. He was proud that Adrianna was finally learning to stand up to people, first her family, and now this pretender.

"You don't believe her?" Ayanna asked.

The people in the restaurant were confused. They knew Ayanna Reyes, who didn't, but what if they ended up offending the Reyes Heir's wife. Wouldn't that be more dangerous?

"Wow, that's the first time I saw people hesitate to believe you Ayanna." Katerina said with a laugh.

"Fine, if you still think that pretender is telling the truth." Ayanna said before turning around and walking towards Cedric's table.

As Ayanna approached Cedric threw her a warning look, she wouldn't dare reveal who he was, would she?

"Camilla, do you mind testifying for us?" Ayanna asked as she turned to face the assistant.

Cedric breathed a sigh of relief, he didn't think his sister could reveal who he was anyway. It was too complicated at this point.

"Of course Miss Reyes." Camilla said as she stood up and fixed herself.

Most company owners knew Camilla, they had to know her and Ian, especially if they had any plans of doing business with the Reyes Group. The pair were the assistants to the Reyes Heir after all, and if rumors were to be believed they were quite close with their boss and he always listened to their opinions.

"Tell us about that necklace." Ayanna said as she pointed at Elaine's necklace.

"Mr. Reyes told me to sell that necklace after the auction." Camilla gave a simple reply that shocked everyone.

"Who bought it?" It was Adrianna that asked the question this time.

Camilla grinned before replying. "Miss Elaine Moyra's father."

With Camilla and the sister's backing everyone realized that Elaine had fooled them all. They would be lucky if they got away from this unharmed, but it seemed that by sending his sister and assistant the Reyes Heir was not happy at all.
