My Mage System (BL)

435 The future surely had many good surprises in store for them

Kelan smiled, it was exactly what he had hoped to hear and suddenly they heard Solomon’s worried voice : “Sora, are you okay ?”

Miguel looked at her and saw that she was very pale and about to faint, so he went to her but after checking her condition he could only say to her sympathetically : “Sorry Sora, there’s nothing I can do to help you, it’s the aftermath of your release, and the overload of emotions you’ve been through, your body and mind need to rest, that’s all.”

Sora whispered her sister’s name and Solomon took her in his arms again before she collapsed on the floor and as he could see that she really didn’t want to leave her sister, he then suggested her : “I’ll stay here with you, we’ll sit right behind Lena against the wall and if you fall asleep, I’ll wake you up as soon as your sister is done, is that okay ?”

Sora nodded weakly and Solomon didn’t even have time to get to the spot he had told her that she had already passed out.

Seeing this he looked at Miguel and after bowing his head he asked him respectfully : “Miguel, is there really nothing you can do for her ?”

Miguel then opened a teleportation portal in front of Solomon and he said to him : “The only thing she needs is to rest and tell her when she wakes up that it was me who sent you away, because I really need to focus on protecting Jordan and Lena.

I doubt Atlas will try to hurt her even if he is under the influence of the black particles, but there is always a risk and that risk is even greater for Jordan.”

Solomon nodded and thanked him before walking through the teleportation portal.

He didn’t even know where that portal would lead them but he knew that Miguel would never try to hurt them in any way, and having someone as powerful as him watching over them was truly something incredible.

However he was aware that Sora would resent him for taking her away from Lena, so all he could hope for now was that she wouldn’t wake up until Lena was done helping Jordan heal that Titan.

When Solomon arrived on the other side of the teleportation portal he was surprised to find that he was in the room, or rather the suite, that he had prepared for Sora if she still agreed to stay with him for a while in demon territory.

And he didn’t have time to recover from his astonishment when another teleportation portal opened and Kevin and Liam stepped out.

Kevin had Willow in his arms again and he said to Solomon after frowning because he didn’t recognize this place at all : “Miguel warned us, we’re here to see how she’s doing and Willow wanted to check on her.”

Solomon nodded and he went to lay Sora on the bed and Liam then asked him surprised : “We’re in the Royal Palace of the demon territory…”

Solomon looked at them, feeling as if he had been caught red-handed, and then he explained to them that the last time he had spoken with Sora, before the attack, she had told him that she would like to come here for a change of scenery and that she had always wanted to discover the demon territory.

So he had prepared this suite for her and he had also prepared another one for her sister right next to this one.

Kevin simply nodded, he knew that Solomon would take good care of her and as Liam had finally decided with Ian to stay here for a while, Sora and Lena wouldn’t feel lonely.

He then laid Willow on the bed next to Sora to check on her, and even Willow told them that she couldn’t do anything for her, and that she just needed to rest, making the same diagnosis as Miguel.

After that, Kevin and Liam went back to their men as there was nothing they could do anyway to help Sora, and Solomon finally decided to stay here to watch over her and reassure her if she ever woke up.

Now that peace had finally returned and their enemies had been killed or banished from their world, he was going to be able to focus on something other than war and the first thing he wanted to do was get to know Sora better.

He didn’t know if she would really want to stay here or if she would prefer to stay in human territory, but it didn’t really matter now because with the peace treaty, the border would soon be destroyed, and he could go visit her whenever he felt like it… At least, as long as Sora would agree of course.

He hadn’t forgotten the words Kevin had told him, that if he didn’t even try he would never know.

And as Liam had just proclaimed loud and clear in front of everyone that getting the mark of the Union was possible between a human and a demon, that also meant that their two races were compatible and that they could have children together.

At first, he had been so focused on the war and the various things he had to deal with that he hadn’t grasped the full significance of the mark of the Union that Liam and Ian shared but after Liam’s speech he had suddenly realized it.

Demons had a very low rate of reproduction between them, but what if it was different with humans… The future surely had many good surprises in store for them and he hoped he would be there to see it.

Ian and Liam hadn’t asked them to do anything, but he, Jason, and all the demons who could use their demonic aura, except for Derek of course who would stay behind to take care of Connor, wanted to be part of the war against the Titans.

Because if they lost this war, it was all over, everything they had accomplished so far would be for nothing because their world would undoubtedly be in the crosshairs of these two Goddesses, and the apocalypse would once again descend upon their world.
