My Mage System (BL)

430 The battle of the Royal Palace part 30

He had managed to keep up by using the spirit potions to replenish his Soul force reserve and it was probably also thanks to his Dual Cultivation bond with Erik, which was stronger than ever as Erik had kept his Stage 2 Warrior Spirits active, that he was still able to stand.

And in the end, whenever he felt helpless and reported to his father and Kerry that he had run out of healing potions of legendary grade, and needed them urgently, they always managed to get them for him, thus avoiding the deaths of soldiers he couldn’t save otherwise.

Through this, he finally realized how important teamwork was during battles, and how important it was to have competent leaders watching over everyone.

And Kerry, who had been assigned by Kevin to handle the frontal assault on the Royal Palace, had done a really great job and everything had gone as smoothly as possible.

Erik then kissed him bringing him out of his thoughts and he said to him worried : “You look exhausted, are you sure you are ok ?”

Alan then said to him before kissing him tenderly : “Now I’m fine…”

Suddenly a blinding light appeared just above the Royal Palace and a sort of giant screen appeared.

On it were Kevin, Axel and the others on one side and the King and his soldiers on the other.

Alan looked at Axel frowning and he put his arm around Erik’s shoulders before asking his best friend thanks to the communication stones, ‘Are you the one doing this ?’

Axel looked at him from afar and he answered him immediately, ‘It wasn’t really me, the core of this world took the liberty of doing it without waiting for my approval, it said it would be much more effective than mere words.’

Alan then felt that something was wrong and he looked around because he could no longer hear the sound of weapons clashing or the sound of spells exploding, and he immediately noticed that it was because everyone seemed to be frozen.

So he asked Axel again, ‘Tell me brother, is it still the core of this world that has frozen everyone ?’

Axel smirked and told him, ‘Yes, it is, but it was me who asked it if it was possible to prevent everyone from fighting so that they could all watch this giant screen… I must admit that this core is really very powerful.’

‘No kidding’, Alan replied immediately, which made Axel smile’s widened, and then he said to him, ‘You also missed that fight, so you can take the opportunity to watch it and enjoy the show like everyone else.’

Alan turned around and looked quickly at the 8 wounded who were still present in the area that his father and Kerry had created for him to be able to look after them and they were still unconscious.

He had already treated them and their lives were no longer in danger, but they would probably need a few days of rest to fully recover.

Erik then said to him : “You should watch my love, Axel has changed again and he’s become much more powerful than before.

As for Kevin, you’ll love the way he got rid of the Trinium weapons.”

Alan then looked at Erik who had his eyes fixed on the giant screen and he said to him : “It’s not just them that have become more powerful, sweetheart.”

Erik looked at him and blushed a little under the burning look of passion that his man was giving him.

He immediately felt his body temperature rise a few degrees and before the situation got out of hand, he told him to get back on more neutral ground, “Yes, you’re right, since Kevin came into our lives, we’ve all gotten a lot stronger, all of us without exception.”

Alan smiked and kissed him, biting his lower lip before saying to him : “I can’t wait to increase my strength ever more, I think we really need to spend more time praticing together.”

Before Erik could say anything, he turned his attention back to that giant screen, because after all he was really curious to see how Kevin and Axel had handled this situation.

The number of soldiers in itself was not a problem, thanks to the training they had done in the purple dungeons they were all able to easily face this number of opponents, no what made him really curious was how they had managed to handle so many weapons made of Trinium.

Silence fell over the Royal Palace and everyone watched the giant screen that appeared in the sky, those who didn’t yet know their new King saw Kevin showing his pentagram mark on his chest and his mark of the Union that he shared with Axel.

Julian knew that Kevin was their new King, but to see him show his pentagram mark without fear in front of an army of hostile soldiers gave him chills.

He saw him give the soldiers a choice and some had chosen to surrender, then he widened his eyes when he saw Kevin make a golden sword appear in his hand and 7 small spheres above his head that were all a different color.

He heard the exclamations of surprise from everyone and he took a quick look at their guardian angel before turning his attention back to the screen and asking her : “Can Kevin really use the 7 elements ?”

Iris smirked and she told him : “Yes he can, but this little one isn’t limited to the 7 elements as you can see.

The short sword he just created is made entirely of golden particles, which means that he also has great mastery of the divine element Angelic.”

Julian then couldn’t help but muttered : “But how is it possible ? He is only 18 years old… How can he master all these different elements at such a young age ?”

Ashton then said to him, his eyes shining with excitement focused on the giant screen, and especially on Nolan who was standing not far from Kevin : “Easy, those you consider geniuses are no match for Kevin, and on top of being a super genius, he never stops training.”
