My Girlfriend is an S-Class Adventurer

As soon as the particles from the hologram explosion took the shape of the shield, 'The Champion' immediately charged towards the half-beast, carrying his staff with his right arm.

Luke did not move, as he assumed his defense pose. He firmed his right foot as the fulcrum of his body and threw force to his left leg, which was in front. At the same time, he contracted the fingers of his hands to attack with his palms. He usually only used this position when fighting, not to kill.

As soon as the Elf man approached, the half-wolf saw the long staff strike toward him. He jumped back, and the stick hit the sand. Surprisingly, 'The Champion' took advantage that the stick found a point of attachment to use it to jump and kick Luke, who defended himself with both arms.

The kick was not even able to bother the half-wolf, who had already become accustomed to receiving the S-Class' strong blows. However, the Elf was already aware that his strength was usually nothing impactful.

"<Increased Gravity>!" He shouted in the midst of the blow, and then his leg became several times heavier. Still, that wasn't enough for Luke to make it give way, which startled the Elf.

The half-wolf managed to hold the weight of the man's leg with one arm and grabbed it with the other arm. When 'The Champion' felt the grab, he knew he was screwed. Luke applied a quick transition, turning the simple grab into a spinning move.

From afar, the audience was watching the half-wolf spin the Elf as if his opponent were a doll, and when Luke finally let go of him, 'The Champion' bounced three times in the sand like a smooth rock would bounce in a calm pond.

"Ouchhhh!" People sketched, almost as if they could feel the pain the Elf felt.

"That's one hit already... two to go." Luke spoke. His and his opponent's voices reverberated through the arena whenever they said something, and this time was no different.

The Elf tried to get up immediately, but his leg was still heavy. As soon as he realized this mistake, he gave his leg two light finger taps, and it returned to its average weight. He glared at Luke and shook his long black hair a little, which was now very dirty with sand. On reflex, he tried to search the surrounding area for his staff, but couldn't find it.

"Are you looking for it?" Luke asked as he removed the staff from his back as if he were guarding a gift. "If you want it, you'll have to go get it."

Then the half-beast hurled the stick hard as far as he could. In the end, the baton ended up outside the circle, which made the audience cheer at the show of strength.

"Holy shit... How did he manage to do that?"

"I once had a wooden baton and I never even dared to throw it, because I thought it would be dumb, but this guy proved me wrong."

"What's with all the euphoria? That's not even the guy's only weapon."

"Who's the dumbass who wants to fight with two different weapons too, right?"

Even 'The Champions' heard a lot of these comments coming from the stands himself and wondered proudly: 

'Tsk! How can these people not remember me? I was in the quarterfinals last year.'

Rising with difficulty, the Elf slipped his right hand behind his waist to reach for something in his pocket, but when he felt the shards of glass, he realized that his healing potion had broken when he fell.

Tired of waiting for his opponent to make a decision, Luke began to run towards him. He was fast, and to confuse the Elf's vision; he was snaking as he ran with his arms back.

In 'The Champion's' scabbard was a sword, which he had to draw when he saw no other choice. Luke did not dare to pull out the Behemoth Axe, because a simple wielding could kill the Elf.

As soon as the half-beast entered his range, 'The Champion' held the handle tightly to deliver a blow in his direction, but Luke acted faster and smarter. Using the <Vind> skill, a wave of wind came out of the half-wolf's fingertips, and the force of that wind was so strong that it lifted the sand upwards on the ground.

The moment the Elf struck with his sword, he only hit the grains of sand. Luke came up behind him and, instead of trying to render him with his sharp hands as he normally would, he punched his opponent in the face.

"Two..." Luke counted as he watched the Elf inevitably roll in the sand again.

High above the Municipal Arena, people began to be pleasantly surprised by the half-wolf.

"This is the half-beast they've commented so much on? Interesting..."

"He has no great displays of power. He won't make it past the quarterfinals."

"One thing I have to admit...you Strogueher guys know how to hire." Nico Sallow spoke after poking Ayumi with his elbow, but the Strogueher Matriarch didn't know how to react either.

Ayumi Yamazaki had always known that Luke was absurdly strong since he was selected as a Tournament of Legends Champion. This again proved true when everyone at the Mansion praised his performance in training with Nathalia and when her daughter told her wonders about him.

In Vasconcelos' Castle, she was protected by him and managed to get out without a scratch, even though she met a demon face to face. After that, not only did she surrender to the half-wolf's talents, but Alexis Dmitry did as well.

Now, she was getting her first chance to see this enormous skill live, and Luke was not only beating his playoff opponent, but he was also destroying it with Elf pride. 

However, it is never a wise decision to make someone angry. 'The Champion' was away from his sword now, which fell off when he took the hit, so he saw no alternative but to call upon his trump card; that thing that had earned him prestige the year before, the one that had gotten him all the way to the quarterfinals of such a prestigious Tournament. 

The Elf raised his right hand as high as he could and hit the ground hard while kneeling.. In the next instant, the floor of the sand circle began to shake, and the sand from the entire area began to be pulled towards the point where the Elf's hand struck.
