Mr. Tycoon's Daring Wife

Chapter 145 Plump Backside

Yang Enterprise.

In the deadly silent room, a nervous and sweaty man sat in front of a regal dragon whose lethally emotionless expression was scarier than facing a serial killer.

Time trickled by extremely slow, where a minute felt like an hour. The room was also precariously cold. The man thought he was sitting in front of a snow-covered mountain, instead of a brooding man.

"B-Boss…" The executive tried to ignite a conversation, but his voice was too meek and pathetic for Yang Feng to even bother with the talk.

"You're fired." Yang Feng pressed a button and in rushed the security team.

The executive wailed upon hearing the two most dreadful words in the world. He squealed like a pig being slaughtered. "No, wait, Boss please! Give me another chance! I swear I won't be bribed again—" Too late. He was dragged out of the room, screaming, kicking, and begging for mercy, his grating voice bouncing off the hallways, causing the employees to cringe upon hearing the deafening sound.

Chen Gaonan walked in immediately afterward. "Boss, your next order?"

"Have all of his work and personal history checked." Yang Feng paused before saying, "Bankrupt him." He disdainfully said.

"I expect to see the stocks of Zheng Corporation drastically plummet by the crack of dawn."

"Right away, Boss." Chen Gaonan nodded, bowed his head, and excused himself. When he was out of the office and the door was closed, he sighed in disappointment.

What a foolish man.

Just a few minutes ago, the executive had miraculously talked his way into having a personal meeting with the President and instead of eventfully utilizing every second he spent with the CEO, the man passed along the failed proposal from Zheng Corporation.

To work at Yang Enterprise was the greatest honor that any office employee could achieve and to touch a position higher than the regular worker was something that many people would die for. Why throw it away for a quick buck? How stupid.

At the very least, someone completely useless was thrown off the team and would soon be replaced by someone a lot more competent and, hopefully, refreshing enough to bring new ideas to the company.

Back at his desk, Chen Gaonan focused on the tasks given by his Boss. He knew his Boss had always wanted to destroy Zheng Corporation, but was waiting for the right moment and reason to do so. If he irrationally did it without a proper explanation, it would not look good in the eyes of the media.

True to his Boss' words, the second the sunset in the west and rose in the east, Zheng Corporation was thrown into chaos.

The prices of their stocks drastically and disastrously fell, as several companies simultaneously pulled their partnerships with Zheng Corporation. The revenue lost was at least eight hundred million dollars, nearly reaching a billion by the time the sun had fully risen high in the sky.

The good weather was a complete contrast to the disarray of Zheng Corporation. They couldn't do anything but panic in their chairs, for who would they dare cry to?

If they had the guts to approach the media and offer their side of the story, Yang Enterprise would only shoot them down further with evidence of their under-the-table deal made with the executive.

Zheng Corporation was cornered.

They could only sit and wait for the storm to pass while attempting to pacify the great titan they had offended. Throughout the entire morning, the Zhengs attempted to contact the Yangs. It started with Mother Zheng contacting Madam Yang to Father Zheng contacting Mr. Yang and finally, Elder Zheng attempting to get in touch with Elder Yang. None of them prevailed or ever thought about going against Yang Feng's decision.

Zheng Tianyi was a furious and rampaging beast. He had smashed, kicked, broken, and destroyed everything in his office. The glass desk was flipped over, the bookshelves pushed to the ground, the coffee table shattered, and the crystal CEO plate with his name engraved with gold was on the floor, a heavy crack running through it.

"Damn it!" He snarled, picking up the nearest object and hurled it across the room, the object shattering upon impact.

He never thought he would ever undergo such a humiliating stock drop again. It only happened once when Zhao Corporation decided to withdraw their stocks just because that shrew of a woman decided to act on her emotions rather than from a business standpoint. Had she been smart enough, she should've stayed in the company! Even if he wasn't her fiance, she would still be paid well here.

Chen Xing didn't dare to enter the office that was filled with crashing noises. But Zheng Hechong himself was coming to the office and he needed to warn his Boss beforehand. She breathed in deeply, momentarily gathered the tiniest ounce of courage, then knocked on the door.

"Sir, your father is arriving here in less than thirty minutes." Chen Xing hurriedly explained. Her Boss did not respond, but there was silence in his office now, which meant he had stopped the tantrum

A minute passed by until Zheng Tianyi gruffly responded, "Send him in."

Chen Xing sighed in relief, her shoulders dropping. The boulder weighing her down miraculously disappeared into thin air. She could not believe how well she was able to survive this storm!

On her way back to her desk, her tablet dinged. Her Boss requested for her to enter his office

With an uneasy and grimaced expression on her face, she reluctantly walked back to the door. She didn't want to face his wrath head on! With unwillingness and a gut telling her to run for the hills, she timidly opened the door and slipped in, her eyes sweeping over the broken objects in the room.

"President Zheng, you called for me?" Her palms were getting clammier by the second. She kept her eyes trained on the floor, head slightly bent, and shoulders caved in.

Zheng Tianyi sat down on his desk chair, taking a slow drag of his cigarette, the taste doing very little to calm his nerves down. Through the hazy smoke, he saw how feeble his secretary was. She was trembling in front of him, like a rabbit in front of a lion.

He wondered why the people in the office had never made a move on her. When she was not in front of him, she was a confident and appealing woman. A simple smile from her was enough to coerce any man into her bidding.

She was not as beautiful as his delicate Xia Mengxi, the two women were completely different in their glamor and appearance.

Xia Mengxi carried herself like a dainty princess. Her sincere expression, naive eyes that resemble a baby fawn, and gentle smile was enough to evoke the most-protective senses in men.

There were so many men after her because she was just so damn friendly, they have always mistaken her kindness for love. Zheng Tianyi was growing frustrated for constantly having to fend off all of the suitors who line up at her steps, despite the big fat diamond ring sitting on her finger.

Chen Xing, in contrast, was affable and chummy with everyone she knew but was good at establishing a boundary line with her friendships. For as far as Zheng Tianyi knew, none of her male coworkers had the guts to profess their feelings yet.

"U-uhm, Boss?" Chen Xing noticed he had been spacing out for quite a while.

She couldn't deny the appeal of her worldly boss whose face resembled the statues tucked away in museums. His face was the polar opposite of his personality. His clean-cut appearance was amplified by the fact that he was smoking.

In the dim room where the cigarette smoke was more prominent, his eyes were slightly squinted, sharp jaw clenched, and ruffled hair giving off a very dangerous type of man — the kind you wanted to convert into good.

"Clean my office." Zheng Tianyi flicked the ashes off of his cigarette.

He had been fighting with Xia Mengxi nonstop the past few days with this morning being their worst…Today was not a good day for him.

"I'll contact the Janitor right away—"

"I don't have the time to wait for the janitor. Do it yourself." He commanded her, his tone not leaving any room for discussion.

Disgruntled at his request, but with no option to disobey it, Chen Xing could only grit her teeth and get to work right away. The entire time, she did not notice her Boss' heavy gaze on her, in particular, her plump backside.

Zheng Tianyi took another drag of his cigarette, his eyes darkening by the second. Was she intentionally seducing him? She was bent over picking up the broken objects on the floor, her curvy bottom on full display. It would occasionally wiggle and move as she moved.

He didn't think not sleeping with Xia Mengxi for two weeks would make him so prone to temptation. Or was it simply because Chen Xing's body was a lot curvier than Xia Mengxi? His beloved was always conscious of her body and would occasionally go on a diet, thus, she was not as full as she was when she still worked as a secretary. He knew it was because the poor woman was subjected to the criticism of his mother who refused to accept Mengxi into the family.
