Monarch of Darkness, Arsene

Chapter 574 - Bloodstain Colosseum

Elder's Lu expression had gone blank, and so did most of the audience. Hushed murmurs had already begun to echo as the Elder stood still with blanked eyes.

I always did know what buttons to push. I truly have a perfect compatibility with the Dao of Devil Hearts. Standing still with thousands of eyes upon us, the seconds trickled by as the Elder's expression began to glow blood red.

His shoulders began to tremble, and his hands curled into a fist, just as his breath grew laborious. Humiliation ran over his cheeks like a whore, with her legs spread wide and a sign pointing in between her legs with a price tag. There was no hiding it at this point. Shame covered Lu's face.

Snorting at the man whose words failed to resound, I sneered, turning to the ashen Xi Shen, "can we start? It seems Lu is having a mental breakdown." I amusingly pointed out, unable to help myself from chuckling.

Covered in sweat, Xi Shen cuffed his hands towards the Elder, "Lord Lu, allow me to avenge you."

"My god! Hurry the hell up! I have shit to do today." I irritably groaned.

Trembling till the echoes of thunder raced over his body, my devilish smile grew inwardly as a seed appeared in his heart. Fuel with the Sin of Wrath, Envy, and Lust, I could all but see it tremble into a tiny sprout. Holding three small leaves.

Knowing my job was done, I crossed my arm, no longer antagonizing this pretentious idiot. I did not need to do anything anymore; any action he made based on those three sins would be an act of prayer towards me. The angrier he gets, the more divinity I obtain, the more he lusts after my wife or any other woman, the more I benefit, and the more he envies, the more I grow.

Quite the system if I don't say so myself and with my voice so loud, I am sure a few people will relate, sooner or later, and boom, my devil heart will strike.

"Kill him, Xi Shen," Lu coldly voiced, finally finding it in him to speak.

Cuffing his arms tighter, he turned to me and summoned his knife. "Your end as arrived," Xi Shen harshly declared.

Shrugging my shoulder, I casually beckoned towards the fool. "Bring it,"

"Misty Breeze," he shouted as his body suddenly blitzed from sight. Catching a shadow of his blade, heading towards my neck, I took a half step back and dodged when his knife suddenly rippled

Arching my brow, Shen's Dao ripples stretched though space suddenly raced from the edge of his blade heading towards me. Just a few centimeters from his blade, a flash of lightning raced out my pores, clashing with the ripple that severed my lighting in half.

I was somewhat surprised by this trick of blade intent leaking from the ripples heading towards me. However, not enough to do anything about it. Letting the ripple pass through me, I smirked as a powerful repellent force fought against Xi Shen's ripple.

Batting my sleeve clean, I chuckled as the cheers began to race through the air, "I take it your a chosen. I maybe should have asked before, but it's a shame, you know. A real shame I have to break you."

There is no denying in terms of battle prowess. I could kill a devil; even Ezra would now fall prey to me. To say anyone in my realm could defeat me was saying devils were as strong as those from the Bed of Chaos.

Widening his eyes, I faded away like an illusion from his eyes. Materializing over Xi Shen's head, my left leg came crashing down across his cheek like a vicious whip. Tearing him off his feet, my opponent was blasted away. However, I was far from done.

Flickering towards his body, still soaring above the ground, I caught his right leg and brutally slammed his pathetic body into the pavement, and stomped down on his skull.

Shattering the teeth from his lips, his groans resounded like hellish torment as I continued to stomp till all that was left was a mushy jaw and a man bobbling blood from his throat.

Blood pooled over the ground, and my feet came to a stop as I lifted his flimsy body by the throat. Piercing my fingers through his delicate skin, till the beating of his heart ran through the tip of my fingers, I spoke, "Scared? You should be. I was told not to kill or cripple, but there were no rules against torture.

"Graaaa," Xi Shen cried, bleeding tears, raining piss from in-between his legs.

"What's that? Would you like me to skin you alive? Sure. Did everyone hear that? Consent given!" I shamelessly shouted.

"Stop this! Now!" Lu roared, flickering to me; he hovered in the air and clenched my wrist so hard I could hear my bones begin to crack. Narrowing my eyes, I grew cold.

"Release me," I solemnly declared in a tone that devoured life from the air.

Holding a scary dark eye, sweet wrath filled both his heart and mine as Lu snapped, "In place of your master, I shall teach you a lesson." The old fool justified as my laughter crackled over the colosseum.

"Elder Lu, " Said Lilith taking to the skies with our two little girls, "Asura is well within his right. You have no right to attack, much less discipline him."

"That right!" My charming daughter challenged. "Let Ty eat him! Ty pummel big bully down!"

"Go, Big Sis!" cheered Arkanos.

"Silent Whore!" Lu snarled as my grip suddenly released. Dropping ahold of Xi Shen, a wave of icy wrath raced through my soul.

"Freya, castrate this old fool," I commanded as the world grew black as night. Wiping away the light, the echoes of thunder raced through the winds, as a Gate similar to the one of Noctem appeared. Glistening with a devouring light, they opened, revealing an icy goddess that took the breath away from creation.

The world fell silent, and the aura of hundreds of other gods began to appear in the air. Storming the skies with their presence, my Knight ignored them and stepped out of the Gate of Noctem, which had me curious.

Narrowing her scarlet eyes, she stared at the half-man clenching my wrist spoke in such a threatening tone I felt my very soul wish to flee. "Release my disciple or die."

Shaken to his core, the fear visible in Lu's dull eyes widened. Letting go of my wrist, I sneered and drew close to my lovely Knight. Standing behind her, Freya pointed her finger as a small star appeared at the tip of her finger.

"Lady! Freya, no!" A familiar voice echoed as a dense beam of light pierced through the void. Vanishing from my sight, blood the color of wine showered my sight.

Falling to his knees, holding his crotch, squirting a river of blood. My Knight's cold voice resounded like a reaper's call, "Touch my disciple again, and it will be your nine generations that end."

Observing the bloody foam raising from his mouth, I sneered and turned my attention towards the Elders in the sky with their arms paled behind their back.

Arching my lips, I cuffed my hands, "Welcome elders, you just missed my battle with... I forgot his name, but it would seem like one of your elders tried to assault me."

Soaring down from the heavens, a handsome man with sharp eyes shot me a suspicious stare and turned his attention to Freya, who everyone believed was my master.

"Lady Freya, allow us to welcome you to the Holy Swords. Allow us to investigate what happened; in the meantime, why don't you just stay with us? Your dear friend's daughter, the fair maiden Yu Jing, is a guest at our Sect, and so are some of the other Chosen. Why not stay a few days?"

"Master, you must agree! It's been a while since you had a vacation." I cheerfully replied as her wet eyes turned to me, filled with tears kinda destroying her somewhat domineering entrance. She ran her hands through my ashen hair in a delicate manner.

"You're not hurt, are you?"
