Chapter 1451 - Vermilion Bird Staff

Chapter 1451: Vermilion Bird Staff

“Haha!” Ming Du rubbed the back of his head and said with a smile, “Let’s not bother with the small details. After all, is there a need for us brothers to be so calculative with each other? Am I right, Daddy Fearless?”

“Tsk!” Fearless ruthlessly threw a middle finger towards Ming Du, before reaching his hand into the eggshell once more.

At this moment, a blinding red light emanated from the interior of the eggshell.

Under everyone’s gaze, Fearless retrieved a scarlet magic staff from the interior of the eggshell.

The appearance of the magic staff was stunning. Even though the entire staff was of the same scarlet colour, it had a dazzling glimmer to it, appearing like an exquisite piece of jewelry. There was a phoenix tail at the end of the staff and a phoenix spreading out its wings situated at the top of it, giving off a noble and mighty aura.

There were two grooves located at the eyes of the phoenix, one of which had a fire-type magic crystal situated in it.

The entire staff radiated a fiery scarlet glimmer, revolving around the staff itself, appearing exceptionally breathtaking.

“F*ck! It’s really a staff?”

Upon seeing the staff in Fearless hands, not just the other players, even Fearless himself was in disbelief…

F*ck, what kind of dog sh*t luck did this Ming Du have. To think that Fearless would actually retrieve a weapon meant for a Magician.

Just by looking at the appearance of the staff, one could tell that it was extraordinary.

At this moment, Ming Du was so excited that he almost fainted on the spot. He impatiently cried out to Fearless, “Fearless, hurry! Hurry up and pass it to me…”

“Tsk!” Fearless replied with disregard, “That’s not the tone which you used previously…”

“As long as you give the staff to me, I am even willing to call you my grandfather!” As he was speaking, Ming Du revealed a look of wild desperation.

From the looks of it, Ming Du was on the verge of going on his knees in front of Fearless.

“Having a grandchild like you would be the death of me!” Fearless jokingly lashed out at Ming Du upon seeing how pathetic his appearance was, before tossing the staff over to him.

“Hahahahaha!”

After receiving the staff in his hands, Ming Du laughed out loud and said, “F*ck, I have finally gotten my hands on a God-grade equipment!!”

As he was speaking, Ming Du displayed the attributes of the weapon for everyone to see.

“F*ck! These attributes…” Upon reading the attributes of the staff, everyone couldn’t help but drool at the sight of it.

In <<REBIRTH>>, there were all kinds of different Magicians. There were the agility-based Ice-type Magicians, the wind and thunder-type Magicians, and even the black-clothed, close-combat Magicians. At the end of the day, however, the most important role of a Magician in a team was to act as the damage dealer.

The Vermilion Bird Staff had shown everyone what overwhelming power was with its own attributes.

The 150% increase in the damage dealt by fire-type magic had directly multiplied the damage of these spells by 1.5 times. Additionally, with the addition of the 50 points into fire-type magic, this damage was further increased by another 50%.

The reduction in the CD duration, incantation speed and casting duration greatly increased the frequency of the spell casting by the Magician.

Ming Du was initially known as an overpowered glass cannon. With this new staff, he would have truly turned into one of those legendary weapons capable of casually team-wiping the enemy in group battles.

The quantity of the enemy was no longer a concern. With a single ability from Ming Du, a thousand troops would be turned into dust in an instant.

If a single ability wasn’t enough, then take two of it! Magicians were supposed to be this simple yet overbearingly powerful!

What was even more frightening was the fact that this wasn’t a one-time damage output, but rather a continuous one.

[Spread] was a rarely seen special effect. From the battle previously, it wasn’t difficult to see how fearsome this effect was. It was fine if the flames were spread out on flat ground, but to think that they possessed the ability to climb over obstacles in their paths…

With the [Spread] effect added to the 1000 radius of the [Purgatory Sea of Flames] ability, if the enemy did not possess the ability to fly, they would be unable to escape from this ability. As long as the Tanks protected Ming Du, given the Magic Damage that he could deal, it was extremely easy for him to annihilate a hundred-man army with a casual wave of his hand.

As to how fearsome the ability [Vermilion Bird Descends] was, everyone only needed to read its description to realise it.

The only downside to this equipment was the fact that the level requirement of this God-grade equipment was LV 80.

The longer the players progressed in <<REBIRTH>>, the harder it was for them to level up. Even after killing Nifis, Ming Du only levelled to LV55, and was still a far cry away from the level requirement of 80.

Of course, given the amount of money Ming Du had, as long as he was willing, he could use the level requirement reduction crystals on the weapon… a single crystal could reduce the level requirement by five levels and the maximum number of crystals that could be used on a single piece of equipment was three. Thus, Ming Du could reduce the level requirement to LV65. Even though it did not mean that he could use the weapon immediately, it was a more reachable target.

Ming Du couldn’t help but reveal a brilliant smile on his face while hugging the staff in his embrace, seeming as if he could already imagine how mighty he would look the moment he equipped it.

It couldn’t be helped, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect all weren’t ordinary players. Almost every single one of them possessed a God-grade equipment. Even that stinking brat Vainglory had an Ancient-Grade Fist Weapon, while Spring Halo had an actual God-grade weapon himself.

After playing the game together for so long, the bunch from Quan Zhen Sect had become competitive towards each other. Even if he didn’t say it, it must have been extremely frustrating for Ming Du to see others possessing a God-grade equipment while he himself didn’t.

From his desperate behaviour of recklessly using attribute-raising crystals on that Obsidian-Grade weapon of his, one could easily tell that he was greatly affected by it.

Now that Ming Du had finally gotten his hands on an Ancient-Grade weapon, words wouldn’t be able to describe the emotions that he must be feeling in his heart.

Upon seeing Ming Du’s appearance, Boson walked over towards Fearless and said in envy, “Brother! Loot a Warrior Armour for me this time around!”

Given everyone’s understanding of how prideful Boson was, this was the very first time that they had seen him address Fearless as “Brother”. It seemed like he was truly moved by this miracle done by Fearless.

“Enough!” Fearless waved his hand and said, “It is already good enough that we looted a God-grade equipment from the BOSS, how is it possible for it to drop another? Do you really think that I am some miraculous lucky star?”

Even though everyone understood Fearless’ reasoning, Boson continued to play punk and said, “I don’t care. You have to loot a Warrior’s Armour for me, by hook or by crook. Otherwise, we are brothers no more!”

“Fine, fine, fine!” Fearless helplessly said, “I admit defeat. I’ll do my best alright!”

Fearless helplessly shook his head, before reaching his hand into the eggshell once more.
