With the audience in support of Jasmine and her group, the guy had no chance of escaping.
"Today I will show you what it means to suffer a great defeat," The guy finally accepted the challenge when the pressure from the audience was getting out of hand.
Instantly the table was rearranged following Jackson's orders. Just when they were both set to toss the coin Evelyn spoke up.
"For every game, there is always a reward for the winner so what will the winner of this game get, the players should decide," Evelyn said giving the guy who challenge Jasmine murderous glances.
"I will do and give anything she wants that is if she is capable of winning," the guy said with pride.
"What about you Jasmine, what will you give him if he wins?" Evelyn asked anxiously. Not only she but the others were also anxious to know what Jasmine will promise the pompous guy.
"Anything he wants I will give it to him?" Jasmine said in a firm tone. Her friends and lover were shocked to hear her reply.
"You will give me anything I want?" The guy asked giving her lecherous glances. Jackson wanted to punch the guy for staring at his woman lustfully but Jeff stopped him.
"Jasmine, jerks like him are not to be trusted. He might ask for sex so you don't have to fall for his tricks…,"
"I know what I am doing so don't worry," Jasmine assured them with a smile. She turned to face the guy when one in charge of tossing the coin picked up the coin and was ready to toss it.
"Silently pray that luck shines on you and I end up breaking because if that isn't the case, I will make sure you don't get to hold the cue stick again until the game is concluded," Jasmine said in low tones and with a wicked grin on her face.
"I guess your prayers were desperate enough. The god of luck did shine his luck on you," Jasmine said when he heard people say it was the head that showed.
The game began in full swing after Jasmine break. The game was going smoothly but Catherine and the others became anxious when the guy didn't fail. Since he didn't fail or play a foul, according to the rule of the pool game he had to continue playing.
"Goddamn it! Sister-in-law will end up losing without even getting to play if he keeps striking the balls into the pocket," Jeff expressed his anxiety with fear in his eyes.
"You are right about that. If he successfully strikes this particular ball into the pocket, that means it is only remaining a total of two balls for him. If that happens, it will be very hard for Jasmine to win…,"
"And I am very sure the jerk will definitely ask Jasmine to spend the night with him. Jasmine's reputation will be completely tarnished…,"
"We just need Jasmine to get in the position of the cue stick and then she will definitely turn the tables on him. I have this feeling that his moments of rejoicing will be over in a few minutes," Catherine said as she tapped the anxious Elizabeth by the shoulder.
It was just like someone above heard Catherine's words and even hastened to bring it to past. Because almost immediately she finished talking the guy who failed to hit the ball handed the cue stick over to Jasmine.
He only had two balls to strike into the pocket to make him the winner but unfortunately, he failed to hit it.
Evelyn, Jeff, Steve and Catherine never uttered a word when it was the guy's turn but they suddenly began cheering Jasmine before she could even start playing.
"Don't cheer so loudly or I will get distracted," Jasmine spoke to her supporters before she started the game.
Jackson anxiously watched his woman play the game with a smile. Although it was a competition the smile on her face while playing showed she didn't take it as a competition at all. She was instead having fun.
He wished he could be as broad-minded as her but he couldn't especially when he knew what was at stake if she loses.
No matter what happened he would never share his woman with any man.
The once happy guy became anxious when he saw how fast Jasmine was playing the game. He suddenly began sweating on his forehead when he realised that it was only remaining a few balls before Jasmine would become the winner.
Because of Jasmine earlier words, Evelyn and her friends didn't cheer for Jasmine at all. They eagerly waited for her to reach the same balls as the other guy did.
The moment Jasmine strike the agreed number of balls that will make one the winner into the pocket, she threw the cue stick on the table and brought her gaze to the terrified guy standing some distance away from her.
"You lost," Jasmine said in a firm tone. Everywhere in the gaming house became bubbling after Jasmine won. Evelyn and Catherine out of excitement almost lifted Jasmine off her feet had Jasmine not stopped them from doing so.
"Have you now agreed that you are not her match?" Evelyn who was waiting for this moment asked with a prideful look.
"Never look down on others just because you think you are good at a particular thing, I am sure you have learned this lesson tonight hmm?" Catherine asked. The guys wanted to so much say something but they hold back themselves since they had previously agreed that the ladies will be the ones handling the jerk.
"So what do you want from me," The embarrassed guy finally bring himself to accept defeat. The way he was acting showed he wanted to get out of there as soon as possible.
"There is nothing I want that you can offer that I don't have so I will leave it to Lyn here to be the one asking you for what she wants?" Jasmine said before she walks over to a chair and sat down. Jackson quickly followed her when he saw that something seems to be wrong with her.
