Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

Chapter 377 - Elizabeth Defended Her Sister

"You keep acting spoiled ever since you get hospitalised. I will indulge you because you are unwell," Jasmine said as she feed him the apple as he wanted.

"You are the best," Jackson said with smiles. Jane had no choice but to see herself out of the room when none of the two people in the room paid attention to her.

"She should have been the one lying there or even dead so why is she still alive and well? Why do my plans always fail?" Jane approaching where she parked her car muttered in anger.

The violent manner in which she closed the door of her car made passerby take a second glance at her.

"Since paying people to kill her won't work then I don't have any choice but to do it myself. Poisoning her instead of causing physical death to her is the best option," Jane said as her grip around the steering tightened.

Jane left the hospital in anger.

About two hours after she left Mrs Smith and the others arrived.

"Hello Auntie," Jasmine greeted politely but the elderly woman pretended as though she did not hear Jasmine salutation. She hurried to the bed where Jackson sits without sparing Jasmine a glance.

"Jacky, how are you feeling? Have you eaten? How is the condition of your leg, I hope it isn't severely damaged?" Mrs Smith flooded Jackson with questions. Before Jackson could reply his mum turned and shot Jasmine a fierce glance.

"Are you happy now that he is in this condition because of you?" Mrs Smith asked harshly.

"Mum!" Jackson said as he held his mum hand as a sign for her to stop but his mum pushed his hand away.

"If you were well behaved like every other lady this wouldn't have happened to my son. You caused him to be severely wounded and I won't forgive you for...," The door flew open before Mrs Smith could finish her words.

Jeff, Elizabeth, Steve and the others entered the room one after the other. The only one who wasn't present there was Alfred.

Everyone greeted the elderly woman except the angry Elizabeth.

"Madam, it isn't my sister's fault that Jackson got injured. It was also never her intention to get attacked so why do you make it look like Jasmine is responsible for your son's condition. If she was the one who got injured while trying to save your son, would you have acted this same way?" Elizabeth asked fiercely. Everyone was surprised to see her outraged side.

Out of the four ladies Elizabeth was known to be the quietest and most well behaved. She hardly talks and whenever she talks she always tend to compose herself.

Right now they could see what is capable of triggering her. She could remain quiet in every other circumstance but she can't stand someone treating her sister badly.

It was the same when Jane insults Jasmine and her parents on their last trip.

"Of course it is her fault...,"

"You didn't answer my question. Would you have been so hard-hearted if it was Jasmine who saved your son at the expense of her life?" Elizabeth asked, her expression stern. She refused to heed the signal Jasmine was giving her.

"See, you can't say it and this is because you know that Jasmine isn't at fault here. Nobody wishes to get attacked and I am sure you are aware of this but you are only trying to make things difficult for my innocent sister and this is not fair," Elizabeth concluded in an angry tone.

"Auntie, Elizabeth is right. Jasmine didn't plan for this to happen and I am sure she is in a lot of pain seeing Jack in this condition," Evelyn supported. The guys also did the same thing and so did Jackson. With everyone favouring Jasmine Mrs Smith could not cause any more trouble.

"Mum, how did you know that I was hospitalised? Did Max or Lilian inform you about this despite my orders for them to keep it a secret," Jackson asked his mum which was the only one at his bedside. The others had gathered themselves on the couch and waited for the woman to get over with it and leave.

"Jane told me about it. Jacky how could you instruct them not to tell me about your conditions...,"

"Because I did not want you to get worried," Jackson replied. He stole a glance at Jasmine whose gaze was focused on him and his mum.

"I did not want you to get worried but my plans failed because of Jane. I wonder why she did that," Jackson said despite knowing too well that Jane's motive in disclosing his room number to his mum was to stir up trouble.

"Jacky, why are you acting as though you are not aware of Jane's deep feelings for you...,"

"Mum, can we not talk about that? You can go ahead with this topic that is if you want me to get upset," Jackson said in a cold tone.

"You have become so cold towards me after you started seeing her...,"

"And mum you know that you are responsible for my coldness towards you. I wouldn't be like this if you treat Jasmine....,"

"I will be leaving now. Take care of yourself," Mrs Smith said not allowing Jackson to complete his words. She stood up from the bed after caressing his face lovingly.

"She is so good to Jackson. I wonder why she is mean when it comes to Jasmine," Elizabeth who turned around and saw Mrs Smith stroking Jackson's face muttered in annoyance. Jasmine sitting beside her heard her words.

"Lizzy, why are you acting like my past self today...,"

"That is because that two-face woman standing there doesn't understand politeness. She needs someone who will talk some senses into her. You will come to realise that treating her kindly was a mistake if you don't put her in her place," Elizabeth said in low tones. Only Catherine and Jasmine sitting at her sides heard her words.

(Lovely readers our goals still remains the same so please let's try our best to reach the goals. Don't forget we only have eight days before January is over)
