Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

Jasmine turned to the leave and the moment she took a step forward Jane secretly tripped her. And because of this Jasmine lost her balance

Since one of her foot was hurting terribly she could not maintain her balance.

"This is what you deserve for daring to want to go against me," Jane muttered when she saw Jasmine about to fall and embarrass herself.

Elizabeth's mouth dropped open when she saw her little sister about to fall. She wished either she or Alfred was close by to save her from falling.

Just when everyone was waiting for Jasmine to fall, a powerful arm stretched forward and grabbed her hand. With her hand in his grip, he pulled her closer with his left hand around her waist.

The young guy saved Jasmine just in the nick of time. At first, Jasmine had thought that it was Jackson who saved her but she was wrong this time around.

"Timothy! How come it's you?" Jasmine asked in shock as she instantly tried to pull away when she realised that he was not Jackson.

She pulled away only to fall back into his arms because of her foot which she could not stand on.

Reporters who were searching for exclusive news did not fail to quickly take pictures of them holding each other so intimately.

"Are you ok?" Timothy asked worriedly as he stare at her face. He quickly helped her to stand alone when he saw the way people were staring at them.

"I am far from being ok after that b*tch tripped me," Jasmine said as she glared at the lady who had a pitiful expression on.

"Are you ok?" Jane asked pretending as though she was concerned about Jasmine.

"You will know whether I am fine after I deal with...," Jasmine who was about to punch Jane in the nose halted when her eyes met Evelyn's mum face standing far away from the crowd which has begun gathering.

Seeing the woman's face made her recall the birthday celebrant beautiful smile when the four of them chatted when she arrived.

This is supposed to be Mrs Frank happy day. It will be very terrible of me if I ruin my friend's mum birthday party just because I want to save my pride so I will let it go today but I will make sure I avenge myself for the humiliation she almost made me go through.

Jasmine thought with a clenched fist as she moved back to her previous position.

"Thank your stars that today is Mrs Frank's birthday because I wouldn't have spared you if that wasn't the case," Jasmine said angrily as she turned to leave.

Evelyn who went out of the hall with Steve to get fresh air only to come back when Jane tripped Jasmine approached where Jane was standing feeling very happy for the success of her plans.

She collected a glass of red wine from the waiter standing watching the scene.

"Let me help you," Timothy said as he supported the leaping lady. Jasmine stylishly searched the hall for Jackson but unfortunately, she could not see a sign of him.

What a relief he wasn't around when the incident happened. I am sure he would have caused a big scene without giving a damn about anything or anyone.

Jasmine thought as she and Timothy approached the exit. They were about five steps away when they heard a scream coming from where she left. Curious to see what happened she turned around.

Jasmine was stunned when she saw Jane sitting on the floor. Seeing Evelyn standing close to the supposedly injured lady, she knew that she must have done that to Jane.

When her eyes met with that of Evelyn, the naughty lady winked at her.

Jasmine could forgive you for my mum's sake for hurting her but I will not spare you for hurting my friend and causing a ruckus at my mum's birthday party.

Evelyn thought as she brought back her gaze to the lady struggling to stand up.

"Are you ok?" Evelyn asked in a pretentious tone. Her acting was even more perfect than that of Jane.

"Hey girl you should have looked where you were going, I am sure this wouldn't have happened if you did that," Evelyn said as she stretched her hand to help Jane up.

At that moment she vouched to let go of Jane's hand so that she will suffer from another fall if she foolishly grabbed her hand.

"It's was a mistake, so take my hands and get up," Evelyn said still putting on a concerned look.

"A mistake? I am a hundred per cent certain you did that on purpose so quit putting on an act," Evelyn heard a lady's voice beside her. Rose who spoke up a moment ago assisted Jane off the floor.

I would have even been more delighted if you were the one down there so you should thank your stars that you were not with her earlier.

Evelyn thought as she glared at the frowning lady.

"This wouldn't have happened if your best friend didn't bump into me and tripped my foot so how dare you accuse me falsely?" Evelyn asked angrily.

"If you are angry your best friend fell then why don't you tell her to watch her steps from now on instead of barking at the wrong tree," Evelyn said before she turned and walked away.

Everyone dispersed after the host began addressing everyone. Three minutes after the incident, Jackson finally came back with the ice bag but he was surprised when he did not see Jasmine where he left her.

He began searching the hall for her. He was hoping to see either Steve or the others in the hall but surprisingly they were all gone.

He was so unlucky to have run into Jane standing close to Rose.

"Did you see Jasmine?" The desperate Jackson asked in a worried tone. After the kidnapping incident, he could not feel at ease.
