Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Because it feels fun to tease you," Steve replied with smiles.

"If you dare to tease my man then get yourself prepared to be teased by me the entire night," Jasmine said playfully.

"Your man?" Elizabeth, Steve and Alfred remarked as though they were not aware that the two was dating.

"Why do you all look surprised as though you are not aware of our relationship? We are dating so that means he is my man so I don't understand you guys attitude," Jasmine said as she stare at the three surprised people.

"Of course we know you both are lovers now but we are shocked by your bold and shameless declaration. I wonder what other jealous ladies will do if they listen to your shameless declaration," Elizabeth said as she began walking towards an empty table by her right-hand side.

"Why should I stress my head thinking about how they will feel or what they will do? It's not my fault that all their attempts to seduce him failed," Jasmine said in a carefree tone.

"Jasmine, you are just too shameless. I wonder how Jack manages to handle your shameless and naughty behaviour," Steve said as he went to the other side of the table to sit.

"If you think I am shameless and naughty then do you think your best friend is a saint?" Jasmine asked jokingly as she raise her gaze and stare at the guy sitting on the opposite side of the table.

"You might not know but your best friend is naughty and twice shameless than me. I always lose to him if you might know," Jasmine said beaming as she turned to stare at the quiet Alfred sitting a seat away from where she sits.

"Alfred, why are you so quiet today? Did Lizzy perhaps upset you before you came to the party or is the party not to your liking?" Jasmine asked curiously as she strained her neck to be able to stare at him.

"Hey, girl don't accuse me because I did not do anything wrong to your brother-in-law," Elizabeth quickly defended herself.

"Seeing how you are reacting I guess you really did something wrong to him. Did you starve him of what he loves last night or did you bully him throughout the...,"

"Hey naughty girl stop it or I am going to ruin your makeup," Elizabeth threatened in a playful tone.

"Actually, Jasmine nothing is wrong and Liza did not upset me. I feel like enjoying the party in silence...,"

"Alfred there is nothing to be scared of when I am here. If Big Sis really bullied you then tell me and I will get you justice right away. Forget that she is my Big sis because I won't hesitate to spank her if she bullied you," Jasmine said playfully just to make Alfred smile. Her plan worked since Alfred ended up smiling because of her jokes.

The five people on the table continued talking and joking around. They paid less attention to other socialites present there. To make the atmosphere around their table even more lively Evelyn soon joined them.

They had tons of fun until it was time for dancing. Jackson quickly asked his woman for a dance before any other man would even get close to her.

Jackson gently leads her by the hand to the dance floor where other people with their partners were already present.

The moment the music played Jackson placed his left hand around her slender waist while the other supported her extended hand.

The classical music was then accompanied by their slow yet very romantic dance. The two lovers danced as though it was only the two of them in the hall.

Their powerful minds blocked all the hateful glances and all the murmurs going on around them. They focused their attention solely on each other.

When it was time to change partners Jackson gently spun her around. If it was left for him, he wouldn't have wanted to part ways with her but he had no choice since this was the rule of the dance.

The instant he spun her someone who has been eagerly waiting for this moment shoved his woman aside and grab Jasmine instead. Everyone saw the young man's action but they all pretended not to have seen anything.

Jackson clenched his teeth when he saw who Jasmine partner was.

Before he could walk out of the dance floor, he felt someone lifts his hands placed them on her waist.

Lowering his eyes to see who it was, his frown deepened on setting eyes on Jane's smiling face.

"Jack, so many people are staring including my mum and your mum, it will not only be an insult to me but you will be humiliating my entire family if you abandon me on the dance floor so please think twice about our family's relationship for the past years," Jane said meekly as her grip on his shoulders tightened on seeing that Jackson did not want to dance with her.

As if I care about all that!

Jackson thought angrily as he tried to pull away. Realising that her acts didn't work she decided to change strategies.

"See, she doesn't seem to have a problem dancing with her ex in front of you so why are you so upset? Are you perhaps upset because you think they still stand a chance together...," Jane trailed as she stare at Jasmine who was now in Nicholas's arms.

"Are you angry because you will be the one at a disadvantage if the sparks between them ignite?" Jane said as she began moving according to the rhythm of the music.

"What nonsense are you spewing...,"

"Jasmine might be in love with you now but don't forget that the man in whose arms she is in right now is her first love. It's difficult to forget your first love, never forget that...," Jane trailed just to let the hidden meaning behind her words sink into Jackson's mind.

"Leaving the dance floor right now will only allow the scum to seduce her all over again so why don't you stay and keep watch over him. There is no harm in protecting what is yours if you may ask me," Jane said seriously. An evil grin appears on her face when she realises that Jackson was no longer struggling to leave her.

Back in where Jasmine and Nicholas stood, Jasmine tried to remove his left hand around her waist but Nicholas wouldn't budge.
