"Let's see about that," Mrs Smith said as she stood up from the couch.

"Mum, I am sure you must have heard from others how her temper is. She won't stay quiet if you insult or hurt her feelings in any way. She is not a two-faced lady like the one you picked for me. I have already said all that needs to be said, don't say I didn't give you heads up when it happens," Jackson warned coldly. Mrs Smith turned to face her son.

Meanwhile, outside Jackson's office, Jane who heard that Mrs Smith was in the company got blocked by the Secretary.

"And what do you think you are doing?" Jane asked in annoyance.

"Boss gave orders not to let anyone into the office while the Chairwoman is in there," Mary, the Secretary standing in Jane's path said firmly.

"Do I look like anyone to you? Has your memory got tampered with that is why you have forgotten my identity as the future madam of this company...,"

"No matter what your identity is you can't enter except the boss gives the order," Mary said fiercely as she spread her hands so that there was no way Jane will force her way in.

Jane tried to push her away but the young lady did not budge.

"You know exactly how the boss is. My job is on the line right now, don't make things difficult for me or I will have to call the security," Mary threatened coldly.

"You silly lady! Just wait and see how I will teach you a good lesson," Jane said as she turned to leave. She halted when she heard the door open. Jane quickly turned to face the door in excitement.

Her smile slowly faded away when she saw Mrs Smith's angry expression.

"Auntie, what happened?" Jane asked worriedly.

"Talk some senses into that son of mine because someone really needs to wake him up from that fantasy of his," Mrs Smith said as she walked past Jane without sparing her a glance.

Curious to know what Jackson said to get his mum so worked up, Jane entered the office.

"Jack, what did you say to get mum so worked up? How could you do such a thing?...,"

"She is my mum and not yours so I can do whatever I like. And you are just an employee here so how dare you barged into my office and question me?" The furious Jackson asked as he throw murderous glances at the lady standing at the door.

"How could you say such a thing about me...,"

"Just get out of my office or I am afraid I might end up killing you," Jackson said coldly as he stood up and walk to his desk.

Jane stood there and stare at the angry guy who wouldn't even stare in her direction. She knew that when Jack said anything in anger that he meant it that is why she just kept quiet.

"You are always so cruel to me and this is not fair," Jane said before she turned and left his office.

"What audacity! How dare she enter my office without permission? Does she think that because I have been so tolerant of her and her attitude that I love her? If it was not because of her, would I and mum have gotten into an argument?" Jackson asked no one in particular as he stares at the place Jane previously stood.

Just then Max entered the office. When he saw his boss fiery eyes, he regretted entering the office the time he did.

"The next time Jane Allen enters my office without permission or without having any important official matter to discuss with me consider yourself fired that day, understood?" Jackson asked fiercely.

"Understood," Max replied sternly. He quickly exited the office when Jackson had no other job for him.

Jackson did not want to go to his first official date with Jasmine looking so angry so he did everything possible to make sure that his anger went away before that time. In the end, his efforts really paid off.

Jasmine who brought a change of clothes from home changed into the purple dress she brought when it was almost time for her meeting with Kai.

Catherine was already aware of Jasmine date with Jackson which is why she was not surprised to see her best friend act strangely by changing clothes when her previous clothes were already very elegant.

Seeing their boss come out of her office in a different set of outfits, her employees exchanged secret glances but none of them dared utter a word.

"Is boss going out on a date?" A lady in white asked her partner who was wearing a green gown.

"Shush... She might hear us," the lady in green gown said as she quickly turned to face her front.

When Jasmine got to the cafe, Kai had not arrived. She began to get very impatient when five minutes passed and Kai was not there and neither did he call to tell her he was not gonna make it to their appointment.

"You are amazing. You never stopped to blow everyone off their feet with your superb dressing," Kai on reaching where she sat said to the lady who was oblivious of his presence. Jasmine raised her gaze to stare at the person standing in front of her. She heaved a sigh of relief when she saw that it was Kai.

"Always look your best at all times, that is one of my mottos," Jasmine said with a smile on her face. Kai sat down at the opposite seat.

"I am happy to see that you are alright," Kai said as he stare at her glowing face.

"This was only possible because of your help and I am also relieved to see that you are alright," Jasmine said meekly. Each time she speaks with Kai, she always looks like a different person.

"Kai, I will not beat around the bush. I will go straight to the reason I called you here," Jasmine said while staring at his face.
