Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"I...," The door opened before Jackson could tell her the truth.

"Why did they have to enter at such bad timing? I haven't gotten her reply yet," Jackson muttered frowning. He stood up from the chair to give access to the others.

Jackson sat at a corner and watch them all fight to talk to Jasmine. Seeing that he was no longer needed he brought out his cellphone and began playing with it. While staring at his phone, he did not see Jasmine repeatedly steal secret glances at him.

He barely confessed his feelings for me some minutes ago so why is he sitting there when others are with me?

Jasmine thought not hearing when Evelyn called her.

"Jasmine, you keep stealing secret glances at him, what is wrong? Are you guys on bad terms again?" Evelyn now the only one sitting with her asked curiously. The others had gone to buy them dinner leaving her, Jeff and Jackson to watch over Jasmine.

"I am stealing secret glances at him?" Jasmine asked frowning.

"Why would I do that when he doesn't even care about me? He has been sitting there staring at his cellphone. I wonder what is so important about his cellphone...,"

"Are you mad at him for not being around you like the others or are you upset about something else?" Evelyn asked as she steal secret glances at the guys sitting on the brown couch.

"Well, if you are upset that Jack doesn't care about you then you are very wrong. When you were still unconscious he was the only one who took care of you. He didn't step out of this room for the entire time you were asleep. It was as if he wanted to be the first person you set eyes on after you wake up," Evelyn said seriously.

"And after he succeeded in doing that he dare to ignore me? Why did he confess his feelings if he was gonna act so timid after it?" Jasmine muttered sounding very upset.

"Jack confessed his feelings to you? When did that happen?" Evelyn asked anxiously? she could not hide her excitement.

"Why does that matter?" Jasmine said as she lied down and turn her back on the anxious Evelyn.

"This two keep on fighting, I wonder what is wrong with them?" Evelyn thought aloud staring at Jasmine's back. She could see that Jasmine was pretty upset.

Meanwhile, on the couch, Jeff sitting beside Jackson turned to stare at him. He was surprised to see that Jackson was still staring at his cellphone.

What is so interesting that JK has been staring at since Jasmine woke up? I want to see what it is.

Jeff thought as he stretched and peep at his phone. He was astonished when he realised that it was her pictures he was staring at.

"JK, she is right in front of you so why are you staring at her pictures instead? Are you not afraid that you are gonna offend her by acting this way?" asked Jeff as he stares at Jackson.

"She doesn't need me anymore so I did rather feed my eyes with her pictures than watching her ignore me. At least this is better than being treated like an invisible being...,"

"Is it Jasmine who is ignoring you or you are the one ignoring her? You have been sitting here staring at her pictures so how do you want her to talk to you?" Jeff questioned in a serious tone.

"Because of your attitude I even thought that you both are fighting but I guess Jasmine is the one being wronged here and with her temper I am sure she will get upset with you," Jeff concluded firmly.

"Are you saying that she is not upset with me...,"

"Would she have been secretly staring at you if she was upset with you? JK what has come over you? You never acted this way towards her so what exactly transpired between the two of you?" Jeff questioned out of concern.

So, she isn't mad at me that I confess my feelings to her, this is great. This shows that I at least stand a chance.

Jackson thought smiling. Actually, the fear of the way Jasmine would treat him after his confession was one of the reasons he came to the couch to sit down and stare at her pictures instead.

"Jeff, when the others come back with the meal, you and Steve should try your best to make sure that the others don't have their meals here. The hospital has an area for dining so make sure they eat there instead, I want Jasmine and I to have our meals together so make sure it happens. In return, I will give you that golden wristwatch of mine you said you love," Jackson made a juicy offer at Jeff.

"You will give me the golden wristwatch I fell in love with?" Jeff asked in astonishment. He thought he misheard what Jackson said.

"As far as you succeed then the wristwatch is yours when we travel back," Jackson said seriously. Despite that Jackson confirmed his doubts, Jeff could not still believe his ears.

That golden wristwatch was second to the most expensive wristwatch in the world. There was only one of it in the world and Jackson want to willingly give the golden wristwatch to him in exchange for a mere meal with Jasmine.

This best friend of mine is one crazy guy. Just to make sure I put all my best into the task, he did not hesitate to give away his treasure. I guess Jasmine is more important to him than we thought.

Jeff thought grinning happily.

"I am at your service, Big Brother. I will make sure I carry out the task without any mistakes. You will have an uninterrupted dinner with sister-in-law," Jeff said as he held Jackson's hands. Jackson smiled when he saw how Jeff acted just because he said he will give him the watch he said he loves.

"I will be back in a few minutes," Jackson said before he stood up and exit the room.
