Mission XX: Seducing The Great Seducer

"Jasmine, you mentioned earlier that you made a list of what those going on the date will do so now that the winners are determined can we have a look at the list?" Evelyn asked.

"I want to see the list of all the naughty things you scribble down. I am sure you wouldn't have come up with those naughty ideas if you knew that you were gonna emerged as one of the winners," Evelyn added playfully. Jane frowned just at the thought of what the list contained.

"The list for the second winners doesn't contain many naughty things but I can't say that about the list for my sister and Alfred. Big Sis, you must forgive me when you see the list ok?" Jasmine said before she hurried away. She was sure Elizabeth will scold her if she waits there for a minute longer.

With the contest concluded, everyone went back into the hotel to freshen up and change into something nice. Before Jasmine could get ready, Jackson was already at her room waiting for her under the close watch of Catherine.

"Aren't you making it too obvious that you like her? Are you not scared that she will never treat you the same way again if she realises your feelings for her?" Catherine asked firmly on seeing Jackson fixated eyes on the bedroom door. Jackson shifted his gaze to her when he asked her a question..

"How do you know about my feelings for her? Jeff told you about it right?" Jackson questioned curiously.

"With you sitting here waiting for her isn't it very obvious that you don't think of her as an enemy or friend but as a woman? Your actions made it so obvious so why are you so surprised that I found out your little secret? You didn't expect your feelings to stay hidden with the way you are acting recently right?" The smart Catherine asked. She was so smart enough not to have mentioned that Jeff confirmed her doubts.

"If it is very obvious then why doesn't Jasmine know about how I feel for her?" Jackson asked not believing what Catherine said.

"Imagine I treated you the same way you did to her, would you have believed that I will ever fall in love with you even though someone told you about it? Wouldn't you have brushed off all signs of me loving you as your wishful thinking even though the signs are so obvious?" Catherine asked not backing down.

"Also, Jasmine's first impression of you was that you hated her so I am sure that even though you were to tell her 'I Love You, Jasmine', in a serious tone, she would not believe a word you said. She might even think that you are joking so bear with it because you have no one but yourself to blame for being a jerk in the past," Catherine said sternly not feeling any sympathy for Jackson.

"How did you know she would do that? Did she tell you what happened between us...,"

"What happened between the two of you? Was the reason she ignored you because of what happened that you just mentioned?" Catherine asked suspiciously.

"Seeing how curious you are I guess she did not reveal what took place between us," Jackson said feeling very relieved.

"Did you two perhaps have sex? No, right?" Catherine asked but Jackson did not put an end to her curiosity.

"Or did you perhaps confess your feelings to her?" Catherine questioned yet again.

"Can you stop guessing, you are gonna ruin my mood if this continues. I don't want to get furious at you since Jasmine might get upset with me if she learns about it so stop getting on my nerves and just let the issue go, ok?" Jackson said with gritted teeth. His expression and tone showed that he was trying his best not to lose his temper.

"Seeing how you are trying so hard to tame that temper of yours, I guess it is really true that you like her....,"

"Who does Ice Prince like? Do you know the lady?" They both heard a voice come from the direction of the bedroom. They were momentarily too shocked to utter a word. Jasmine approached where they were sitting when none of them answered her question.

"Cat, say something. I recently realised that Ice Prince isn't engaged to that annoying lady and I also have this hunch that she isn't the one he likes and that there is someone else so tell me if you know who she is? You know how anxious I have been to know what the mystery lady looks like," Jasmine said as she sat beside Catherine.

You have been curious to know who she is, what will happen when you learned that you are the one?

Catherine thought not knowing what lies to come up with.

"Jasmine, Jackson and I were just talking casually. We did not talk about anything serious...,"

"You and Ice Prince were just talking casually?" Jasmine asked as she gave them a suspicious glance.

"Since when did you and Ice Prince become so close that you will talk casually like friends? Didn't you always dislike him?" Jasmine asked not believing a word Catherine said. At that moment Catherine regretted ever being at odds with Jackson. If they were close, she would have easily come up with excuses but with their current relationship, she did not know what to say.

"Catherine was warning me to stay far away from you so that I would not end up making you fall head over heels for me," Jackson lied while staring at Jasmine. He did not stutter or bat an eyelid while saying such lies.

"She also said this was also for my sake. She emphasised the fact that you have a fiancee. Catherine said you won't take responsibility if I end up falling in love with you," Jackson concluded in a serious tone. Catherine felt like slapping Jackson for making her look like the villain here but she held back herself.

"Did Cat tell you all these?" Jasmine asked doubtfully.

"Catherine, isn't all I said correct?" Jackson asked smirking inwardly.
