"Jasmine, have this," Kai's voice put an abrupt end to Jasmine's thought. She turns and stares at the guy who just put a well-seasoned fish on her plate. Alfred was hoping to see her place food on Kai's plate just like she did to Jackson's plate the previous day but to his surprise, Jasmine did not do that. She only continued eating without talking.
"Jack, what is wrong? I noticed you haven't been eating, are the food not up to your taste?" Jane asked loudly so that everyone at the table will hear her. Just like she wanted, her loud voice caught the attention of everyone. They all momentarily raised their gaze to stare at Jane.
Although the young lady looked so concern the cruel Jackson did not say a word. The way he acted was as if he wasn't the one she was talking to.
"Although you don't seem to like the food I am sure you will love the shrimps since they are your favourite. Let me help you peel them so you won't dirty your hands," Jane said as she puts the shrimps into her plate. The way Jackson did not reply to her question anymore made it look like she was talking to herself.
Despite being ignored, Jane diligently peeled the shrimp. After she finished peeling one, she brought it close to his mouth.
"She saw that he is angry and yet she is still trying her luck. Isn't she afraid that with his temper Jack will collect it and stuff it into her nose? She is just so stupid not to know when to give up," Evelyn staring at Jane mumbled as she eagerly waited to see what the cruel guy will do to the annoying lady.
Evelyn, Jeff and Steve both exchanged puzzled glances when they saw Jackson open his mouth.
"What has come over Jack?" Steve remarked in absolute surprise.
"I bet he is doing that to make her jealous," Evelyn replied before she brought back her attention to her food.

I know he loves her but it's kinda annoying to see them act like this in the presence of everyone.
Jasmine thought angrily. For some unknown reason, she felt her chest tightened seeing him act like this with her.
Jasmine watched as Jane fed Jackson again and what was very upsetting was that he was still staring at her yet again.
"Jack, you love it right?" Jane asked while putting on her sweetest smile. The way she acted was as if she loves doing what she was doing. To see him look her way, Jane would do anything to achieve that.
"Hmm...," Jackson said nodding his head. While all this was going on Elizabeth was keenly staring at her little sister, who had different shades of expression on within the space of five minutes.
"See, I told you that you will definitely love it," Jane said her smile broadening even more.
Without even checking what she was doing Jasmine absentmindedly scooped the food and put it in her mouth.
"Jasmine, what is wrong with you. You always said that a lady should look pretty all the time but look at how clumsily you are eating," Kai scolded as he raised his hand to her face. Jackson tightened his fist when he saw Kai cleaned the particle of food from her mouth.
"They look so lovely. I feel like capturing this moment so I can use it to tease Jasmine each time she tries to tease me," Alfred said loudly to the further annoyance of Jackson.
"Thank you," Jasmine replied before she quickly looked away.
"I feel like cutting off those his hands for daring to touch her," Jackson mumbled with gritted teeth. Jane sitting beside him took her eyes off his clenched fist. She shifted her gaze to Jasmine.
Thank goodness Kai is smart enough to follow all I told him. Now let's see how they will both get close to each other with the two of us around.
Jane said secretly grinning. She loves seeing that grimly expression on Jasmine's face.
"I have lost my appetite," Jackson said standing up to the disappointment of the once happy Jane.
"Jack, you were enjoying the food so what...," before she could complete her sentence Jackson had already walked away.
"Jack, wait up," Steve said as he tried to stand up but Evelyn stopped him from standing up.
"Let him be. I am sure he needs some time alone to settle his feelings. He might take out his frustration on you if you follow him now," Evelyn advised in a soft tone.
"I wonder why the two of them had to show their face here and ruin Jack's happy mood. He was so happy but that ceased the moment they arrived. He has been very happy until they arrived. They are just a bunch of bad luck," Steve said spitefully. He lost his appetite the moment Jackson left in fury.
"Calm down. I am sure Jack doesn't want Jasmine to know the cause of his unhappiness," Evelyn said when she saw Jasmine look in their direction.
"Thank you, Lizzy, for the meal. I am full. I will go take some fresh air at the beach," Jasmine said standing up.
"Thank you so much Kai for the meal. It was quite delicious," Jasmine now facing Kai said in a calm tone.
"It was my pleasure and I am glad you loved it," Kai replied. The moment he replied, Jasmine turned and walk away.

Jane thought with gritted teeth. The fact that Jackson left the dining while she managed to get close to him pains her so much. Her hatred for Jasmine grew just at the thought of how Jackson left without sparing her a glance.
