Chapter 1302  Legacy Won’t Die

Xiang Wai patted Raelle’s shoulder, “Since you’re so good at it. Take a few more for me.”

Raelle swatted her hand away with disgust making Xiang Wai give her a toothy grin in response. Then she ran away.

“Okay, I think this view is good. You can see the tea farm behind me. Take one here,” said Xiang Wai.

Raelle looked at her in silence for a minute without doing anything.

“What are you waiting for?”

Raelle finally held up the phone again to take a picture, “Move to your right a little.”

Xiang Wai moved to the right as she instructed, this time she didn’t doubt Raelle’s photography and was confident.

“No. This is not the right place. Go back to the original place.”

Xiang Wai moved again.

“It’s still not right. How about moving to the left some more.”

“Here?”

“A little more.”

“Is it okay now?”

“Yup! Perfect!” said Raelle as she clicked the photo.

“Show me! Show me!” Like an excited kid, Xiang Wai ran over to see the photo but when she saw it, her lips twitched uncontrollably. “What is this?” action

“A picture.”

“Where am I in this?” asked Xiang Wai. All she could see was the beautiful view of the tea farm in the background. “You are not there? Did you acquire the power of invisibility?” asked Raelle.

Xiang Wai pursed her lips, “You think this is funny?”

“I didn’t even laugh,” said Raelle.

“You’re so dead!” said Xiang Wai as she tried to hit Raelle while Raelle ran away from her. And just like that, Xiang Wai was left chasing after Raelle with her loud voice ringing around. But no matter what she couldn’t just catch Raelle.

This was the scene that Mu Chenyan saw when she came out to find them. She was dumbfounded for a moment. She held Xia Zhao’s arm and dug her nails into his flesh asking, “Does it hurt?”

“It does sting a bit,” he replied.

“So this is real?”

“It’s very real,” he responded.

Mu Chenyan looked baffled, “No way! Am I really seeing my Elle playing around like a kid?”

“That’s exactly what’s happening here.”

“No, you don’t understand,” said Mu Chenyan. “That’s Raelle Xiang. She doesn’t even want to run even if her life depends on it!”

“She goes for a morning run every day.”

“That’s entirely different.”

Meanwhile, Hyson was also looking at this scene with interest. He found it quite baffling and funny too.

“Are they kids?” asked Justin.

“Every one is a kid at heart.”

“It looks childish but it looks fun too.”

“Wanna join?” asked Hyson.

“Yes!” agreed Justin.

“Let’s go then,” said Hyson.

Grandfather Xiang was sitting in the car. He hadn’t left yet but he still wanted to be alone so he waited for everyone in the car. That’s why it took him a while to see all his grandchildren playing tag. He was speechless but the next moment, a feeling of relief washed over him. This was good.

He knew that all his grandchildren missed out on their childhood one way or another. There was so much missing for each of them and they didn’t have a normal childhood. But it relieved him to see that they all haven’t lost themselves. He smiled contentedly as he whispered, “I feel like I’ve done enough, Wan. It’s enough to see them all here laughing and playing. Sigh. Once Chenyan gets married, I’d be ready to meet you.”

“Okay, stop!” Xiang Weimin held back Xiang Wai who was still after Raelle. “Why are you even after her? What did Raelle do?”

“I asked her to click a photo for me,” said Xiang Wai.

“And she helped you.”

“I’m not even in that photo.”

Xiang Weimin went silent and turned to look at Raelle who was being shielded by Shui Xian. “What do you have to say in your defense, Raelle?”

“I never agreed to click a photo for from the beginning,” answered Raelle. “She shoved her phone into my hand without asking for my opinion at all. However, seeing how pitiful she was, I decided to help click one photo. It seemed like she got greedy after that and wanted more. I can indulge her once out of pity, not all the time.”

Xiang Weimin rubbed his nose and looked towards the sky, not knowing what to say.

“I’m not wrong,” added Raelle.

“My wife is never wrong!” said Shui Xian.

“Are you bullying me just because my boyfriend isn’t here?” asked Xiang Wai.

“You think I can’t bully you with Yanjun around? What can he do? He don’t even dare to move if Hyson tells him to do so.”

Xiang Wai rolled her eyes, “That’s because he pampers his brother. What’s wrong with that?”

“Why are you guys so childish?” All of them turned to look at Justin who tapped on Hyson’s leg.

“Up!”

Hyson understood him and picked him up again.

“It’s tiring to look up with all these tall people. I feel so small.”

Hyson chuckled, “It’s okay. Considering your genes, you’ll be taller than the rest here.”

“True but that’s far ahead in future,” said Justin sadly. Then he turned to look at his two aunts, “Aunts, can we not argue over such small matters? Seems rather pointless and time wasting. Aunt Raelle just teased you a little, Aunt Wai. Can’t you handle this much teasing?”

Xiang Wai pouted, “Nephew, you’re making me sound petty.”

“Because you are being petty,” added Raelle.

Xiang Wai rolled her eyes at Raelle, “Sis, I’ll let you go if you add anymore fire to it. I don’t wanna disappoint my nephew.”

“It seems my words are valued,” said Justin.

Hyson tousled his hair, “Where do you learn this all? Talk like a kid when you are a kid.”

“Treat me like a kid if you want me to act like one,” responded Justin stunning Hyson once again.

“Tsk. You deserve to be my successor. I am glad you took my baby throne and no one else. My legacy won’t die with you. I can relax now.”
