Chapter 260: Humanoid Beast.

''Grrr…'' The Rage Beast was a four-limbed creature, but under astonished gazes of everyone… It started slowly transforming.

*Crack*

The bones and joints started breaking and transforming until his animal-like limbs started resembling human limbs.

''Haaahh….'' The Rage Beast took a deep breath and stood up!

He looked humanoid, except his body was full of black fur and menacing-looking red eyes was located at his face, which gave him beast-like dangerousness. But, his black fur made it look like he had long hair, which gently fluttered alongside the wind.

He was around 200cm in height with long arms, and each one of his fingers had sharp-looking claws, which almost resembled small blades.

''It is Humanoid Rage Beast, fuck!'' Cries of despair echoed in the room.

A Humanoid Rage Beast is usually at the level of Half-Step Martial King, which means… He can use a fraction of his Power Trait's ability!

Ichiro's face became much more serious.

Lucius gulped and felt his legs becoming weaker with each passing second.

In the dark room. Yumi looked at the scene with a pale face, and she knew that the Rage Beast could smell her scent with ease.

She glanced at the wooden box and debated whether she could escape with the wooden box.

But, it was like the wooden box had a charming effect. Her thoughts about escaping started getting cloudy, and the only thing that remained was to get her hands on the wooden box.

She unsheathed her dagger and looked at the black-haired young man with a dangerous gaze. He was the only one who could stop her from getting the wooden box.

'Sorry… But you have to die.' Yumi's killing intent ignited as she was ready to kill the black-haired young man.

Ichiro's expression didn't have much change, even after being surrounded by people who wanted to kill him. His focus was completely on the Rage Beast, and he couldn't care less about the individual hiding in the dark room.

The Rage Beast took the first step, and that caused everyone except Ichiro to step back.

The Rage Beast's face started slowly changing, and it was like his mouth was slightly curved. It was like he was amused after seeing everyone's fear, but then his red eyes got locked at the black-haired young man.

His menacing red eyes soon widened in shock. Rage Beast has seventh sense, and it helped him to sense that the black-haired young man has killed Rage Beast before!

His previous arrogance disappeared, much more severe expression appeared on his disgusting face. Rage Beast's aren't mindless beasts, and they can already somewhat think like humans.

His blade-like claws started getting longer, and the black fur started becoming sharper like they were nails.

The young men and women gulped after seeing the presence around Rage Beast increasing in intensity.

And they thought that the Rage Beast was finally taking them seriously, which gave some relief and pride to the young men and women present.

It is an honor if Rage Beast is taking someone seriously, and they felt relieved that it seemed that they have a chance of survival if Rage Beast is being wary of them.

But… The Rage Beast isn't taking them seriously; instead, his gaze was only locked at Ichiro.

It was like two Apex Predators met at last.

Ichiro slowly went into his fighting stance, and a small sweatdrop trickled down his handsome face and trailed all the way to his chin.

Lucius grabbed the dagger tighter and felt his heart racing. He has never fought against a Mutated Beast before, and now he has to fight against Rage Beast!

Suddenly… The light inside the room started dimming down and soon completely disappeared.

''NO!'' A shout of despair instantly appeared.

''Why are they doing this?! We are dead!''

''Someone help!''

The Rage Beast was the first one to make his move. His body was completely invisible in the dark room, and only his bright red eyes could be seen like they were two glowing gems.

Ichiro also bursted into motion.

He and the Rage Beast met at the center of the room, and even though Ichiro couldn't see anything, he had more than enough fighting experience to fight in darkness!

His sword moved like lightning and was about to hit the Rage Beast's throat, but then the blade-like claws stopped the momentum of the sword with ease.

Ichiro spun around and did an insanely quick back kick.

''GRAAH!'' The Rage Beast roared in pain as he crashed onto the room's wall, and that alone made the whole room shake.

''What happened?!''

''Mommy!''

''W-Where is the Rage Beast?!''

Different shouts echoed in the room after the Rage Beast crashed on the wall.

Ichiro grimaced after his foot struck the Rage Beast's torso. It was like he was kicking a metal wall.

'Is it sprained…' Ichiro's face became even grimmer as he felt his feet being very sensitive and even touching the ground with it caused small pain to assault his senses.

''AWOOOOOOOOO!'' The Rage Beast howled angrily and climbed from the debris of the building.

The darkness slowly disappeared as the lights appeared.

Everyone finally saw the condition of the Rage Beast, and they were utterly shocked!

Their heads turned towards Ichiro, and their faces started turning pale.

They were about to face against a monster who could injure Humanoid Rage Beast?!

Lucius gulped at sight and felt that he was incredibly lucky that Ichiro didn't go all-out against him.

The Rage Beast stood up, and it looked like his body had become even taller! Now he was around 210cm with muscles bulging through his black fur.

He glared towards the black-haired young man and bursted into motion!

His body became an afterimage as he ran past everyone in a split second.

Everyone could only look at the scene with widened eyes. The Rage Beast could kill all of them instantly, but his attention seems to be only on Ichiro!

Few of the young men and women dropped their weapons and started running towards the exit of the room.

Lucius' legs started moving towards the exit of the room as well.

Ichiro gritted his teeth swung his sword towards incoming Rage Beast, but once the blade was about to touch him…

The Rage Beast changed directions and instantly appeared behind him!

Ichiro widened his eyes at the unbelievable sight!

The Rage Beast easily changed directions even while running at 100 km/h!

The Rage Beast swung his blade-like claws. His claws were closing in, but then Ichiro did an overhand slash.

The claw was approaching Ichiro's neck.

While the sword was approaching the Rage Beast's face.

Both are lethal attacks!
