Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman

Chapter 263 - Ace's Plan

Ace decided to tell his secret as it will be very difficult to lie with these people who were aware of his Divine Sense and his Void Phase that he can no longer use. There was also his Astral Core which ultimately given him a different form of energy that he can no longer show.

These people were sensitive to foreign energies so it will be hard to trick them with mere words.

In fact, there was not a single hint of such energy within his body so these people who had joined him in the operation would easily identify the difference.

He can tell them that many things had changed after going to the northern continent but aside from that, he was also unsure of what more to say about the events that truly happened when 'he' decided to be left behind in that tower.

"Well, so that's the reason why I'm unsure what happened to my Master as well... Right, can we keep this a secret?"

Ace said as he smiled awkwardly to the group. They were probably thinking whether he was saying the truth or thinking if what he says was truly possible. It wouldn't be a surprise if these people were doubtful of his identity.

Even though they were in a world where magic exists, cloning a person was still deemed as an impossible feat.

They can obviously tell that the one in front of them wasn't a different person because he has the same mana fluctuation and soul energy to the Wallace they know.

"This... so you're telling me that he was prepared to stay there for a longer time, huh..."

"Haha... Maybe he just joined your rescue operation as it was convenient for him to travel using your aircraft?"

"That might be so... He was well prepared and could battle any chimeras or mana beasts that come in his way. He can even sense the Celestial Beings..."

"He could?"

"Yes... There was a time where we have to take a longer route to avoid a resting Celestial Being. We didn't sense their presence but Wallace at that time was able to use an unknown method to do so. It was impressive..."

"That's very convenient..."

"Now that you said that, I saw him with his greedy eyes before while he was looking at one of the floating islands caused by Mana Calamity."

"You saw one? That's amazing!"

"Haha... We were lucky. Unfortunately, we didn't have the time to visit it as we are too focused on rescuing you..."

"I'm already happy that I survived my first and last visit to that continent... They said that the Celestials would only be present at the center of that land, but we were actually blocked by one not too far from the edge of the mainland! That was scary!"

It was Clint who had been severely injured after one of the Celestials decided to play with them. He couldn't forget the near-death experience he had with just a flick of that creature's finger.

Ace kept his silence while listening to their words. After chatting for a while as they remember their journey in that land, they decided to let go of this Wallace and have a few more talks after his class. Yumi decided to visit his villa later on to have a bit more conversation with Ace.

"Ace... Are you also aware of the logbook?"

Yumi asked after they were left alone. They were now walking back to Wallace's classroom so he can attend his class.

"The prince's logbook? Yes... What about it?"

"I had an answer with Grandma Thea-- I mean, my superior... She wanted to cooperate using all her resources about your plans if what was being said in the book was real... No, I think that she was already convinced that it was real... However, she wanted to know how can she help..."

Yumi looked at Ace seriously.

If he was faking his identity, then he would be unaware of what she was saying but since Yumi felt that this Wallace can be trusted, she didn't mind telling more about it. Seeing Ace's reaction, she was sure that he was aware of the content of that logbook.

Ace thought for a moment as he couldn't really say what they should do at this point.

He has plans on his own, like the VR Pod's Alien Invasion that would simulate the strength and capabilities of the empire as far as Avalon was aware of.

It was also used to spread the advanced technology he has with him. There was also this unique method of his application of advanced technology to mana in which they called magic technology.

Though it was a slow process, this seemingly low-key technology would gradually open the minds of the younger magicians and they would be able to easily accept the fourth phase of this VR Pod Project.

"Oh... Maybe she can help..." Ace suddenly had an idea after reaching this thought.

The First Phase was the release of the VR Pod to the Mana Practitioners. The Second Phase was the release for the non-mana Practitioners which resulted in very good feedback to the public.

In truth, Ace was surprised by the fast progress of these people as they easily associated themselves inside the virtual world despite playing together with magicians and fighting with a powerful empire.

The Third Phase was the spreading of the advanced technology and providing real-life items to help the players realized their dreams. This has been going on for a while now and it made a satisfying result.

Apparently, due to this phase, there was a lot more attention placed on this game and even made some other companies and organizations participate in it. The game was a hot topic not only in here Zairus but also in the neighboring countries that were slowly having an abundant supply of VR Pods.

The Fourth Phase that hasn't been realized yet was a real-life event for the players.

That's right. Wallace planned to have an event that would let real people participate in it. But this would cost a lot and needed a lot of preparation.

As a matter of fact, his Mech Frames would be part of it so he wanted to finish them as soon as possible.

"Tell me... What can we do to help?"

Yumi asked sincerely. She was genuinely concerned about their future. If she had not seen the unknown tower built for an unknown number of years with unknown language written on it within the mysterious northern continent, she may be doubting the logbook up until now.

However, all clues that she found would say otherwise and after she saw the reaction expressed by Grandma Thea, she was even more convinced that there was really a larger threat than the Z-Company hiding somewhere.

"Well, you see... I need some permits about some things that I've built and things I planned to build in the future..."

"What? Only permission to build things? How can we consider ourselves---"

"Wait... Those things I wanted to build weren't simple... First, I need permission to build Mech Frames-- I mean, Steel Knights..."

"You know how to build those Steel Knights?! Ha! Got you! So you're really the one who eliminated those terrorists using your Steel Knight! Hehehe! I'm sure you were hiding one... Now, I got evidence..." **

"Ugh? So you still remember that?" Wallace was impressed by the quick thought process of this lady.

"Hehe! Of course... Don't worry, I can manage that..."

"Great, then how about the permission to build a massive flying aircraft?"

"Just how big are you trying to make?"

Yumi was curious as Wallace seems to be serious on this and felt like it should be a much more difficult request.

Well, she didn't find it difficult at first so she asked the question.

"About four to five kilometers..." Wallace answered.
