Magical Academy: Rise of the Supreme Magic Craftsman

Chapter 213 - Logbook ( Part 2 )

It was written that only when half of their group died that they realized that it was due to their physique which was being poisoned by this world's unique energy or mana. The illness was untraceable making them unprepared for such tragedy.

Even Zacchaeus wasn't sure how he survives and could only think that it was his bloodline. The same blood with the Emperor that was collecting the Ancient Relic which at same time was related on this planet.

"Was the Emperor trying to look for this planet too? He even prepared their physique for this problem..."

Wallace was surprised about this but more than that, he was surprised by how long they survived before they suffered from Mana Suffocation.

"What?! They really lasted for 2 years?! I only lasted for 2 seconds there..."

He was unsure but it was probably due to the unique body modifications to the people in the Empire.

He can only blame the Federation for not giving him a better body enhancement.

After getting such important information, Wallace asked some questions to Avalon to ensure that he didn't miss something...

"Are there any clues written whether the Prince was still alive?"

[ No information found but written at the 12th paragraph of the 77th page was a hint that he will establish an organization comprised of the natives that aim to create the strongest magician on this Earth. ]

Avalon dutifully answered with complete details.

Wallace quickly checked and confirmed that there were indeed such notes...

After reading that part, he quickly remembers the Z-Company that was also trying to create a strong magician through experimentation.

'Just like how the Meredith Empire do their ways...'

Although the Prince left the Empire, his method of experimentation was still the same with his origin.

Experimentation of human genes even by means of sacrificing his subordinates and people.

He read how he was prepared to sacrifice the people as long as he would get the result...

He was fixated on his goal that he left this logbook not just in case he perished but in case the theory of the head researcher came true, which was the arrival of several Ancient Relic that were all leading people to this planet.

Luckily, the empire no longer has any capable researcher who can learn the method of using the Relic. They even destroyed all their records to ensure that even if the Empire learns the method, they will still have ample of time to prepare.

"They're good..."

Wallace praised the Prince and his group as even now, the Empire was still unaware of the method of utilizing the Cube that they already have. It was an impressive feat.

Anyway, he wanted to finish reading the book so he just returned to his study room and checked them together with Avalon. Now that he finished skimming through the part where the Prince told his stories, he can now check the "gifts" he left.

Wallace was interested in some of the blueprints of machinery, recipes of potions, and even magic formation that was included in the logbook.

Although the magic formation was crude, it was still interesting since it was all made for convenience.

He also read that all his creations and the spaceship they used were actually in the northern continent. Unfortunately, the prince didn't make any notes about their plans on that continent.

But he clearly noted something terrible.

"Unfortunately, due to the lack of capable subordinates, one of my human experimentations failed and caused havoc in my laboratory. They were not following orders and I couldn't overpower them. I had to escape and hide here at the southern continent. But this is not the end! I firmly believed that my failed experimentation will continue to evolve and may reach the apex of mana practitioners!"

"But rest assured, they won't be leaving the northern continent yet as they will be needing a different vessel if they had to... They will be weakened if that happened! So let's just stay here and not get involved in the northern continent! Our lives are more important to continue the legacy of our fallen predecessors..."

The prince sounded confident but Wallace wasn't sure whether the man succeeded in the end since he didn't continue writing about his story and only left those blueprints.

Haaa~

Wallace closed the book as he surmised that it was enough for today. He let the A.I. analyze the blueprints that were drafted on the logbook and see if they were feasible. He might use some of them when he creates his own Mass Driver.

A lot of things were going on in Wallace's head. He has to absorb all this information while he was making plans for the future.

On the next day, a couple of visitors came to his house.

"Ahh... Miya? What brought you here..."

"Haah... I'm sorry to intrude on you today. I've been trying to purchase a VR Pod on the market but I can't even make reservations. All orders were reserved and there's no space at all. Aside from your payment, can't you just give me a pod? If you don't want... I can pay for it..."

Wallace felt embarrassed at this. He actually has plans of sending her one but he forgot this because of his priorities. To think that their model doesn't have their own VR Pod, if this was leaked to the public, their company image would take a hit.

"I'm sorry about that... Here, I can even modify your VR Pod, just make a request."

"Really? Then can you make it black and pink? Also, please shape it like car instead of like an egg... If you can also add this and that.."

Miya listed her requests as Wallace made Avalon remember them.

"Sure... Stay here for half an hour and it will be made." Wallace said as he looked at Miss Humeray who was already taking a sip on her tea.

"That fast? Alright." Miya happily agreed as she joined her manager in the living room.
