Little One Tears the Villain’s Script

Chapter 88

Wah Wah Wah!!! (1)

Yu Qingshi was holding the green onions in his hand, and for a moment, he didn’t know what to do.

To be honest, he only ate a few bites of breakfast before he left this morning because he had been too worried. Right now, he was pretty hungry.

But if he really had to eat green onions, well, he hadn’t tried that before.

“Eat it raw like this?” Yu Qingshi asked.

“Yeah.” Jiang Xiaoman nodded her head. “My uncle uses it as a snack when drinking alcohol. He said it is really delicious.”

“Isn’t it spicy?”

“It’s not. It’s a little bit sweet.”

Yu Qingshi’s face showed his suspicion, and he held onto the green onions without moving.

Jiang Xiaoman said again. “I wouldn’t lie to you. Only little dogs lie.”

“If you don’t believe me, take a bite,” Jiang Xiaoman added.

Yu Qingshi looked at her sincere eyes and then at his father. At the end of the day, he couldn’t do something so rude, like throwing away someone’s gift.

After all, this was the breakfast that Jiang Xiaoman had specially prepared for him.

Although it was weird, compared to roasted grasshoppers and stir-fried bee pupae, eating raw green onions was very ordinary. At least it was something that normal people could eat.

Yu Qingshi took a small bite but didn’t taste anything.

Jiang Xiaoman blinked her eyes and asked, “Is it delicious?”

‘Is it delicious’?! You didn’t know if it tastes good or not?!’

“Is it really a bit sweet?”

“…I will give it another try.” Yu Qingshi took another bite.

He didn’t know if Jiang Xiaoman had somehow brainwashed him, but it really did seem to be…a bit sweet? But it was also pretty spicy.

Yu Qingshi wrinkled his face and put the green onions down. He wanted to spit out the green onions in his mouth but held back.

At this time, Jiang Xiaoman suddenly gave him a peeled water chestnut.

Yu Qingshi swallowed it all in.

It was sweet and chewy.

Jiang Xiaoman asked him again, “Is it sweet?”

“…Sweet.” This time it was sweet.

Yu Qingshi drooped his head and hesitated for a while but still did not throw the green onions into the trash. He took another bite and then another one, and Jiang Xiaoman kept giving him more water chestnuts.

Just like that, he ate all the water chestnuts and green onions.

Yu Qingshi’s face turned red, but he still politely said, “Thank you for breakfast. I’m full.”

Jiang Xiaoman chuckled, then wiped her hands and breathed a sigh of relief.

This little friend, Yu Qingshi, was a nice person!

Jiang Xing came out after finishing the matters and saw Jiang Xiaoman and Yu Qingshi sitting together. He saw them eating one bite after another and made a knowing smile.

He and Yu Wencheng looked at each other and smiled, spreading their hands helplessly.

“The children get along well.”

“It’s terrific,” Jiang Xing said. “This is Xiaoman’s first time coming to school, and there’s a lot of things she might not understand. I might have to ask Qingshi to help take care of her.”

“I’ve already told him to be nice to Xiaoman.” The two chatted with each other as if they had just completed a business deal, then they each bid farewell to their children.

“Xiaoman, Uncle is going now. I’ll pick you up later! Remember to get along with your new classmates!”

Jiang Xiaoman said, “Hey!” and ran over, shyly kissed Jiang Xing. She said in a low voice, “I saw them do this on TV… ”

Jiang Xing laughed and left feeling content.

Yu Wencheng looked at Jiang Xiaoman and then looked at his stupid son standing there like a piece of wood. He suddenly felt envious.

Usually, as long as he was not too busy, Yu Wencheng insisted on bringing his child to school himself. Undeterred by neither rain nor shine, all for the sake of giving him a warm and wholesome childhood.
