Leveling Endlessly with the Strongest System!

191 Rewards!!!

『Ding! Congratulation. You have gained considerable pieces of the Lord’s Blessing Skill Shards.』

This was Roy’s first reward for killing the monster swarm made of ten thousand flesh rippers.

‘I am only one shard away from creating it.’

Roy’s eyes lit up.

‘Once I have this skill, it will be easy to push their stats to the peak of their raw potential.’

It’s not like he couldn’t do the same using the beast core purifying method, but for that he needed eternal weeds, a considerable amount of them.

Just as this thought popped up in his mind, another system’s notification rang in his ears. This one brought him great joy. His lips subconsciously thinned and stretched back into a wide and unconstrained smile.

『Ding! Congratulations. You have gained ×100 Eternal Weed!』

This much was enough to purify about 100 to 200 cores.

That many purified cores meant that he could either push one of his basic stats to the peak of an aura monster, or he could help increase the stats of his lovely maids, servant, and new friend and push them to a power level where they wouldn’t be troubled facing off against a level 10 boss monster.

Roy decided to go with a more mature idea, which was to share them equally with everyone.

The system’s notification rang in Roy’s mind again, this time bringing him even greater news.

『Ding! Congratulation. Your fire control skill have levelled up』

『It has advanced to the second level and has gained additional effects. They are mentioned below』

-Allow you to extinguish level 1 fire. The greater the volume of the level 1 fire, the more mana it will cost you to put it out.

-Allow you to control level 1 and level 2 fire.

-Make it possible for you to upgrade your self-created level 1 fire to level 2.

‘I have gained my second trump card against the youngest prince.’

The broad smile on Roy’s face widened even further.

He was now smiling from ear to ear.

He was so happy because he could harm aura users now!

Aura users, a simpler term for all beings that have gained the ability to materialize aura, give it a shape, and keep it permanently tangible, were comparable to rank-3 mages.

It’s said that level 1 fire can’t harm them, only level 2 can.

Why that is so is not commonly known.

The author never explains why level 1 magic couldn’t damage aura monsters and masters with their level 1 spells, only saying to the readers that only rank-2 mages could barely contend with them as they had the ability to harm them with their rank-2 magic.

Rank-3 mages were far more powerful than rank-2 mages.

That’s why it’s said rank-2 mages can barely hold their own against aura users, who were equal to rank-3 mages in terms of power level.

『Your swordmanship is one step away from advancing to the next level.』

The requirements for leveling up your swordmanship are as follows.

-Find a way to enhance your weapons with aura so that you will be able to harm aura users.

‘This is a hard condition to fulfill.’

Roy was eager to advance in his swordmanship. That’s why the burning conviction to fulfill this condition suddenly manifested in his eyes. No matter how hard it’s to accomplish such a feat at his current stage, he was going to do it nonetheless.

『Ding! You will gain a friendly reputation with the Lord of the Icy, Cold Realm when he acknowledges your deeds.』

‘How do I make that happen?!’ Roy wondered. ‘It’s not like I can run up to him and tell him what I did. I don’t even know where he is.’

『A friendly reputation with Ganesha, the ice lord, will allow you to establish a contact with the aura monsters of the Icy, Cold realm and trade with them.』

『You will gain a free pass to the inner part of the Icy, Cold Realm where the truly strong lies.』

‘Let’s put my level 2 fire control to test.’

Roy activated it and waved his hand like a politician making empty promises to the masses.

Magically, the entire fire river was extinguished as if struck by a downpour from heaven!

Not only the twins, but even the maids and Julian were so shocked that their eyes widened beyond the size of saucers and they forgot to breathe for a second.

“H-how did you do that?”

Multiple pairs of ridiculously wide-open eyes looked at Roy.

He felt uneasy and chuckled, “It’s a skill of mine. It lets me control level-1 fire.”

Respectively speaking, the fire river might have seemed like something straight out of hell, but it was just a level-1 AoE spell made by combining level 1 magic papers with level 0 magic and true fire magic. That’s why Roy, who had gained a skill that allowed him to control fire up to level 2, easily put it out.

Well, it wasn’t quite as easy as he made it seem as he lost 1000 units of magic to do that.

He was left with a measly 300 wisps of mana, but even that was 3 times more than what a Fake mage can have.

Arlo had seen some mages do the same in the war around two decades ago, but he was still shocked to discover that Roy could do what they did, even though he was nowhere near their power level.

“Is it a soul herding ability?” Arlo asked after calming down.

“No, it is not, but you can think of it as something similar to that.” Roy replied, he had no better way to put it.

“You’re so cool!” Maya hugged him like a kid.

Roy didn’t feel anything more than fatherly affection for her. She was too cute and sensible, totally the opposite of Aydin.

‘Should I apply to legally become her father?’ Roy was considering adopting Maya. ‘But it would be hard since she has a criminal status.’

Julian raised his eyebrows at his friend, who was capable of doing just about everything, and said, “Bro, what can you not do?”

While patting Maya with one hand, he placed the other on Julian’s shoulder, saying cooly, “That’s up to you to find out.”

Julian felt annoyed. ‘He is taking after Uncle Arlo!’
