Legacy of the Betelgeuse

The dragon is glaring at all of us but then he looks at Azrael, those two are glaring at each other for quite a while. The dragon leans his head forward and lowers it, he sniffs on Azrael then immediately pushes his head back. Azrael is snickering at him and slowly walking forward toward the dragon, both Ivonna and Grisell are staring at him walking past them. The dragon is raising his neck and keep staring at Azrael with disbelief, he tilts his head with his eyes wide open.

"White?!"

Azrael flies toward his head and looks into the dragon's eyes, Ivonna and Grisell are walking toward me and standing next to me. They both are so confused right now because the dragon seems to be scared of Azrael even though the dragon's head is as big as Azrael's body but he's afraid of him. I look at them both while crossing my arms.

"You both must be so confused about what's happening right now."

They both nod and Ivonna looks at me while raising her eyebrows.

"What's the relationship between Azrael with that dragon?"

I point my hand at those two then look at Ivonna and Grisell.

"Remember what I told you about Amruchi? I'm talking about their origin."

Ivonna is furrowing her forehead while thinking but then Grisell tilts her head while staring at me.

"Amruchi is the first being that's created by the Betelgeuse? If I remember correctly, you said that your Amruchi is the oldest of them all, right? That means Azrael is the very first being that the Betelgeuse created?"

I nod in agreement.

"That's right, Azrael is the first being that's created by the Betelgeuse and that dragon over there is the second one. So technically, Azrael is his elder brother and that's why the dragon is respecting him when he smells that he's the Spectre Amruchi."

Ivonna is tilting her head while staring at the dragon.

"But doesn't Amruchi is living in a different dimension? How can that dragon lives in the Orion and not to mention that he doesn't have a master, right?"

I nod and point at the dragon.

"That's right, he should be living in the same world as Azrael but he was summoned and stayed here in the Orion. The ones who summoned him are all the Gods and Goddesses because of a reason."

Grisell is humming with understanding and raising her eyebrows.

"Because the Gods and Goddesses need his power to create Godly and Ungodly items."

I look at Grisell and I'm surprised that she knows the answer.

"Yeah, that's right."

The dragon looks at us while Azrael is landing next to him, the dragon looks at each one of us but then his gaze stops at Ivonna. He leans forward and sniffs while growling at her, Ivonna is a bit scared and uncomfortable that she's slowly backing away while the dragon keeps expanding his neck so he can get a good sniff of her. The dragon suddenly lowers his head that his chin is touching the ground, he closes his eyes while smirking.

"You possessed something, something that I have been longing to smell and taste..."

The dragon opens his eyes and looks at Ivonna.

"You smells exactly like him, and I think I know what you are here for..."

The dragon lifts his head and glares at her.

"My name is Vermel, or you can call me the Red. I'm the one and only true dragon and the ruler of all the mountains, the flame eater, and the master of flame. I am pleased to meet you, the holder of divine power, the ray of the lights."

Ivonna looks at him and nods.

"My name is Ivonna, Ivonna Ivon."

Vermel the Red growls with understanding and tilts his head while leaning his head forward at her.

"So, show me what you bring, Lady Ivonna Ivon..."

Ivonna puts the materials and the ornament that are covered with a purple cloth on the ground. Vermel the Red is growling and staring at them for quite a while and then he looks at Ivonna.

"Open it..."

Ivonna is opening the wrap in front of Vermel the red's nose, and as soon as the materials and the ornament are uncovered, Vermel the Red lifts his head with disbelief but then growls with excitement.

"Unbelievable! You brought me all of these?!"

Ivonna looks at him and nods, Vermel the Red is sniffing the materials and the ornament but then he opens his mouth and swallows all of it in an instant. Both Ivonna and Grisell are shocked and confused at the same time, Ivonna looks worried because he just ate the materials for the godly item. I look at Ivonna and just smile at her, Vermel the Red spreads his wings and then looks at us.

"Come! Follow me to the depth of flame!"

We ride on Azrael's back and follow Vermel the Red from behind, the deeper we are the hotter the temperature is but thankfully, Azrael's fur and aura are cold enough to neutralize the heat. It's getting darker and darker but we can see a red light coming from the bottom but we can tell it's a few hundreds meter from us. Vermel the Red looks at Azrael and then he suddenly dives down as fast as he can, and Azrael feels that Vermel the Red is challenging him and so he follows him and dives down to catch up on him.

The darkness disappears and everything is bright red and the heat is starting to hurt our skin that's exposed by the air. The lava is squirting out from the ground and there are so many magma balls that are being thrown everywhere. It's impossible for us to get down there and land on it since it's a sea of lava so we all float above it while Vermel the Red is bathing himself in the lava. Ivonna and Grisell are staring at him so seriously then Vermel opens his mouth then throws up the material and ornament into the lava.

Vermel the Red lifts his head and stares at the top of the mountain, he opens his mouth and a ray of light comes out from his throat. Azrael flies to the side and tries to take cover on what's about to happen, Ivonna and Grisell are looking down and see the lava is suddenly raging, we can see the lava is moving to the sides and hitting each other. Vermel the Red is still opening his mouth facing at the top of the mountain but then he releases a beam of light and followed by the lava destroying the top of the mountain and creating an eruption.

The beam and the lava are still flying upward but the lava suddenly wrapping itself onto the beam, it creates a big sphere and it keeps expanding and expanding that I can tell that it's not safe to stay here so I order Azrael to leave the mountain as fast as he can. We all leave the mountain and we can see the mountain is shaking furiously, we can see the whole ground is shaking and I think the earthquake might reach the Ophiuchus Empire. A big explosion of eruption is covering the sky with black clouds and VoW appears in the sky and on our screens.

Ivonna and Grisell are staring at the VoW in the sky, Ivonna is smiling with excitement and chuckling with disbelief. Grisell hugs her and congratulates her, she hugs Grisell back while screaming with joy, I just smile at her but then she grabs my face and kisses me so passionately. She smiles with her eyes watering.

"Thank you..."

I nod and then look at the mountain.

"Should we go back in and grab the necklace?"

Ivonna smiles and nods.

"Yes, please!"

We go back inside the mountain through the mouth of the mountain and everything is covered with lava and magma but then we hear a rumbling sound coming from below and the magma explodes into pieces, Vermel the Red flies through it and he spins around while spreading his wings to removes the magma and lavas on his body. He lands in front of us and he bows down to Ivonna, he looks at Ivonna and slowly opens his mouth. A bright light is oozing out from his tongue and we all squint our eyes to see what's in there, Ivonna looks at me and I nod and tilt my head on the source of the light. Ivonna slowly gets inside of Vermel the Red's mouth and grabs it.

Ivonna comes out while holding a glowing white necklace with a very thin chain but looks sturdy and the ornament has become very small with a long thin shape of a glowing yellow crystal. Grisell looks so excited and when she wants to touch it, her hand burns and it hurts her, I tell her that the necklace is bounded to her and nobody will be able to touch it but the owner itself. Ivonna shares the necklace description with us and we both look at it and read it so seriously.

[Heugron's Necklace: A white silver necklace that is made with the power of Vermel the Red, a necklace that possessed the purest energy of the Divine Power. It is said that Heugron wore this necklace to fight the force who tried to disturb the peace in Orion and was the only one who can defeat God Alucard with this item on him.
