“I have been alone. I am not sure whether I am abandoned or if something happened to my parents, but I have been alone for as long as I can remember. The only ones by my side are a group of animals, and I am okay with it. Then, I met you two, and I met a lot of people. It was great, and I was happy, but…”

Neither Touka nor Kanata said anything and just listened to his words silently.

“But… I miss something. This is something that I have always wanted in my life.”

“What is that?” Touka asked while Kanata listened to his words carefully.

“Family.”

Tsukasa somehow understood the feeling of wanting to smoke at this moment. The feeling of wanting to run away from something but couldn’t.
