Is it wrong to become a scumbag?

Chapter 113

Tsukasa didn’t complain. Instead, he answered Sakuya’s question first since the faster he answered, the faster he could get this answer.

“There’s no special reason why I don’t want to become Level II.” Tsukasa looked at Sakuya without looking away as he explained. “Without a doubt, I feel a temptation to become stronger. However, I had just become a Blaze last night. The gain that I have received, whether it is the mysterious energy on my body, increase in my physical ability, and the other things, while it is good, I haven’t adjusted everything yet. I need to get used to the change in my body, or else I can’t use this power efficiently.”

Tsukasa looked at the syringe for a moment and said, “So after I have gotten used to this body, I’ll ask you again to make me Level II.”

His explanation was well-founded and was easy to understand. Sakuya and Mikuni also nodded since it also wasn’t good to be in a hurry to become Level II.

“Okay.” Sakuya nodded and said, “You can tell me when you’re ready. I can give you a chance to become Level II anytime.”

“Thanks.”

“By the way, you’re not a Blaze, but an Exceed.”

“What?”

Sakuya wasn’t surprised by Tsukasa’s confused expression. “It might also be my fault for not explaining it to you from the beginning. So what should I explain first?”

“How about an Exceed?”

“Okay.” Sakuya nodded and said, “Exceed is an existence that transcends human. They are one in every one thousand people, who has attained a body that surpasses the limits of a human, and the ability to manifest their soul into the weapon called Blaze.”

“I see…”

“As for the liquid on the syringe, you can call it “Lukifer.” I won’t give you details about it.” Even if Sakuya had thought of Tsukasa as her future husband, it didn’t mean she was going to explain the details regarding the “Lukifer.”

“Fair enough.” Tsukasa nodded and didn’t feel surprised when Sakuya wouldn’t tell him about the “Lukifer.”Instead, he was quite surprised by the fact nanobots could empower the human body. “So who is the creator of this Lukifer?”

While Tsukasa didn’t need to know the details regarding the “Lukifer” since he had mastered the process to make it by using his ability, he was quite curious about who was the creator behind these powerful nanobots.

“It’s my grandfather.” Sakuya didn’t hide this face since she knew that Tsukasa would know this fact sooner or later.

“That’s why…” Tsukasa nodded and understood why Sakuya could become a headmistress of this Kouryou Academy and had someone as strong as Mikuni to protect her.

“So, what do you want to ask next?”

“While I want to ask about Blaze, I’ll ask about the mark on my chest.”

When Tsukasa took a bath, he could see a faint mark on his chest. While it could be hidden, he was quite curious about what it was.

“You can call it an Astar Mark.” Sakuya pointed at Tsukasa’s chest and said, “It is a mark that appears during the ritual to become an Exceed after taking “Lucifer” in the body. This mark helps the user summon their “Soul,” which shapes itself to a weapon called a Blaze.” She then smiled as she looked at Tsukasa. “Now, let me explain what Blaze is and why you’re so special.”

“Am I special?”

“Yeah, if you become Level V Blaze, you might become the strongest Blaze that has even been born in history.”

Sakuya didn’t doubt it, especially when Tsukasa was a genius on literacy and martial arts, and it made her think that there was no person other than him who could become her husband.

“By then, it might not be possible for you to achieve an Absolute Duo…” Sakuya murmured.

“Absolute Duo?” Tsukasa raised his eyebrow since he clearly heard Sakuya.

“Never mind.” Sakuya shook her head and said, “Now, let me explain what Blaze is. In simple terms, you can say that it is a weapon manifested from the soul.”

“So it’s like Mikuni-san’s stiletto knives and my cube?”

“That’s right.” Sakuya nodded and said, “However, you’re an Exception, an Irregular, you’re a special among all the Exceed that has even been born in this world.”

“Why am I special?” Tsukasa was confused, wondering what his difference was with other Exceeds.

“As I told you before, after being injected with Lukifer, you’ll gain the power to manifest your soul into a weapon. However, that choice of weapon has some restrictions.”

“Restrictions?”

“Yes.”

There were several restrictions for one to choose their Blaze.

First, Blazes are formed from a desire or wish, such as revenge or hope for others.

Second, they are almost always weapons.

“Lastly, they are derived from simple weapons.” Sakuya smiled and said, “However, you’re different. You have broken those restrictions. Not only is the shape of your Blaze not a weapon, but you can even transform your Blaze into a complicated weapon or even a vehicle easily.”

Tsukasa now understood why he was being called an Exception or an Irregular.

“So, are there any more questions you want to ask?” Sakuya asked.

“So, like a normal weapon, a Blaze can also hurt someone?” Tsukasa asked.

While Tsukasa hadn’t tested it, he could tell that a Blaze wasn’t that much different from a Device.

It had two forms which were similar to the Illusionary form that would only hurt the soul not, not physical damage, and the other form was a form that could be used to hurt and even kill someone.

And, Tsukasa was right since Sakuya told him that if there wasn’t a killing intent, a Blaze would only hurt the soul, not physical damage.

“So you need to be careful when you use it.”

After all, Sakuya knew that, unlike the virgin new students, Tsukasa was non-virgin. He was someone who had dirtied his hands with blood.

However, it didn’t mean that Tsukasa was cruel.

Tsukasa just had a firm heart to maintain his survival, and if he was asked whether he liked to kill someone or not, of course, he didn’t like it.

It was also the reason why Sakuya loved him since he didn’t change, and he was still warm yet also dependable.

After all, while Sakuya was only ten years old, she had seen many things in this world, including the darkness.

Still, Tsukasa could only lament that the world was so cruel that it could let someone as young as Sakuya encounter such darkness at such a young age.

“So you’re satisfied now?” Sakuya asked with a gentle smile.

“One more question.”

“Sure.”

“You have said that one can take a maximum of five Lukifers, right? So this means that the limit of an Exceed is Level V, right?”

“That’s right.”

“So is that all? Once someone becomes Level V, they can only have a stronger body, stronger energy, and manifest a weapon through their soul.”

“What’s wrong with that?” Sakuya asked with a smile.

“No, it’s just this being a Blaze is quite plain. After all, unlike me, who can transform my Blaze into various complicated weapons, vehicles, and even things. The rest can only transform their soul into a simple weapon like a sword, spear, kunai, or something alike, right? So isn’t their ability quite plain? Don’t they have another special ability?” Tsukasa asked since he felt that if one becomes Level V without gaining another ability, it would be so plain.

Unlike him, who could transform his Blaze into a rocket, airplane, jet, and many other complicated things. The rest could only transform their Blaze into a simple weapon, which meant they didn’t need to use that much energy, right?

Even Blazers also had their unique abilities, so how could Exceed not have their unique ability?

However, Sakuya only smiled and said, “Now, it’ll be a surprise when you become a Level IV. For now, how about you focus on your entrance exam at the Kouryou Academy?”

‘Level IV…’ Tsukasa knew he would gain a new ability after becoming Level IV, so he didn’t need to question this matter again. “Do I have to take an entrance exam?”

“Of course.” Sakuya smiled and said, “Or else, it won’t be fair for everyone, right? So I expect you to reach an Absolute Duo, Tsukasa.”

“Absolute Duo…”

Tsukasa wondered what it was, but before that, let’s ask about the entrance exam since it wouldn’t be funny if he failed, right?
