A lot of the times, the characters wouldn't find out what the prophecy truly meant until it actually occurred and played out, with the excerpt of the book being abruptly ended as the main character looks at an unfolding reality in shock while repeating out the words of the prophecy- setting up the next stage of their journey and giving the readers a wait time of years before the next installment was produced by the author.

Now, Noah could design his own prophecy as if he were truly the main character, and he would know its meaning intricately as if he were the author that designed it in the first place!
